The Door of Mystery into the Secret Place
(Part 2)
By
Moses Hightower

The truth of the gospel and the refuge of holiness have become mighty ways of deliverance. You have embraced them; therefore, have you escaped the pollution that is in the world by lust. You called upon me in your distress. You cried unto me, the Lord, your God. I heard your voice out of my temple. Your cry came before me. It came unto my ears. I answered you. Now will I answer your adversaries. They shall shake and tremble. I will shake their foundations and remove their hills. They shall see the smoke from my nostrils, and the fire out of my mouth shall devour them. As in the days of old, I will also do in this day. I bowed the heavens and came down. Darkness was under my feet. I rode upon a cherub and flew. I flew upon the wings of the wind and made darkness my secret place. I thundered in the heavens and gave my voice hailstones and coals of fire. I sent out my arrows and scattered the enemies. I shot out lightnings and discomforted them. Behold the fireworks of the Lord from the secret place. Look out of the window of love and behold the fireworks of God. Stand in the window of love and sing aloud unto God, your strength. Make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob. Sing a psalm. Sing a new song and bring the timbrel and the tambourine. This is the time appointed to rejoice. Though you do not understand the language of trouble, rejoice in its face.
You are in the sanctuary of love, my secret place. In this sanctuary, your shoulder is removed from your burdens and your hands are delivered from the filthy pots of scorched condemnation. I have delivered you and answered you in the secret place of thunder. Out of the secret place of thunder my lightning goes forth to destroy that which has been against you. You are dwelling in the secret place of the most High. You are abiding under the shadow of the Almighty. In this place, I am your refuge and your fortress. Trust in me. You are delivered from the snare of trouble and from the epidemic of poverty. I have covered you with my feathers, and under my wings are you trusting. Under my shadow, truth is your shield and your buckler. My shadow is a terrible defense. Do not be afraid for the terror by night, or for the arrows that fly by day. The pestilence that is walking in darkness is exposed by the light of my countenance. Destruction is wasted, even in the noonday of its expected victory. Look out of the window of love and behold the thousands falling by the side of the righteous. Behold the tens of thousands falling by the right hand of the just. Look at your side. Behold the secret atmosphere all about you. Remain here and nothing evil will come nigh you. Only with your eyes will you behold and see the reward of the wicked. You have made me your refuge and your habitation. Where is the evil that threatened to befall you?
Where is the plague that sought to come nigh your dwelling?
You have entered the secret place and angels attend unto you because I have given them charge over you to keep you in all your ways. Behold the hands of the angels. They have power to bear you up in their hands and prevent the dashing of your feet against the stones of trouble. Rise up in praise and tread upon the lions and serpents. Rise up in praise and trample the lions and dragons under your feet. I have set my love upon you. You know my name and you have called upon it; therefore, have I delivered you. In trouble, I was with you. Now behold the peace beyond understanding and trouble. Herein is the power of my salvation. Shout: THE SECRET PLACE, THE SECRET PLACE, THE SECRET PLACE. In the time of trouble, you are hid in my pavilion. I have hidden you in the garden house, the secret of my tabernacle. In the secret of my tabernacle, I have hidden you upon the rock of revelation. Your head is not cast down, but it is lifted up above your enemies that stand round about you.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light."

RE: RHEMA - The Door of Mystery into the Secret Place (Part 2)
In Song of Solomon, we are hid in the secret place of the stairs and God asks the bride in the same verse to let him see her countenance. All his secrets are revealed in his presence. As we melt into his arms, all our adversity melts away and disappears. God takes and turns the clouds into his chariots. In Psalms 68:17, we are given an addendum to the activity on Sinai. Thousands of chariots and angels are running up and down the mountain. Entire arsenals of power are waiting to be released from the presence of the Lord. Again the presence of God is not just feeling him but the intimate relationship with him face to face. God is said to ride upon the heaven of heavens as a chariot. In verse 33 of Psalms 68, we are told in that activity he sends out his mighty voice. We might do well to understand that the thunder could be the sound of war chariots coming to our rescue. If we cannot believe that God can turn the heavens into his chariot, then we need to understand that God can turn our latest problem into his chariot and ride rough shod over every enemy. Song of Solomon 3:6-10 describes the bride as coming out of the wilderness with the pillars of incense like pillars of smoke. Solomon's chariot is paved with love for the bride. Paved here is the same word as in Habakkuk where burning coals are at the feet of the One whose glory covers the earth. In his presence are the secrets of eternity that God wanted to share with Adam to begin with when sin caused Adam to leave the conversation.

You have been oppressed by the attitudes and influences of others. Lift up your eyes. Lift up your head. I will not gratify your foes, for I am not influenced to please others in judging you. I do not gratify the wishes of men in my judgment. I forgave all of your sins. Now grant me your faith in my grace and mercy, and experience your release from all bondage and captivity. I have liberated you. I have not held you in the prison house of men's politics. You perceive yourself rejected by others because you have attempted to enter into arenas that I have never planned for you. These are arenas of men pleasers where brothers are slain by brothers, and the young are poisoned and killed by the will of man. Awaken from the self-imposed prison in your mind, and run down the highway of true liberation. Come and follow me. I am leading you in the path of righteousness. It is a plain path where the will of enemies does not hinder or abort your labor of love for my name. Come and follow me. Leave your frustrations behind you. Leave the mysteries of men and their actions at this altar of prayer. Bring along the sacrifice of praise and the faith of Jesus Christ. Now behold the clarity of the path before your feet.

RE: RHEMA - A Vision of Tomorrow Through the Darkness of Uncertainty
Darkness is only the shadow of the coming of a brilliant morning of victory. As x-rays help us to look through the darkness of our bodies and space. We look at the vision of what God has set before us just past the curtains of doubt and fear. God has always created light with sound. As he spoke in the morning of creation, the light of the day appeared. We have the same power to speak into the darkness and light will come forth. Darkness will never rule over the believer. Light and the believer are to rule over the day. The church is depicted as coming forth as the morning. We are to speak to the dawn and direct the drama on the stage of today. We should never wait for darkness to leave its wreckage on the stage of now and then try to clean it up. In the Spirit, we should speak to the darkness to load its truck and clear off the premises. We are building up ourselves in faith when we pray in tongues. We are speaking mysteries in the spirit when we speak in tongues in prayer. We have often said that we do not know how God will fix this problem. When we pray in tongues, he is fixing what we do not understand. Only those who understand what the Spirit is saying will see the tomorrow that God has sketched out for us. We will not take dictation from the negative reports of life. God speaks comparing spiritual things with the spiritual. Only spiritual words hold the keys to the doors of tomorrow. Uncertainty is not our destination. God has planned for us to arrive at the camp of blessing and prosperity in the city of foundations not made with hands. Eternity is not a pipe dream. It is the most real existence in the universe. Time may be part of the road map, but the power of God is our vehicle of travel that will not break down.

(Continued)
I speak in your ears this day. Surely as I have thought so shall it come to pass, and as I have purposed so shall it stand that I shall break the enemy in the land. I shall tread him under foot, and his yoke shall depart off my people. His burden shall depart from off their shoulders. This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth.
142. This is the hand that stretched out upon all the nations, for I have purposed it and who shall disannul it?
143. My hand is stretched out and who shall turn it back?

Lord, I am thankful that I am hidden in the secret place of the stairs. In your presence, all your secrets are revealed. I am grateful that all my adversity melts away and disappears when I melt into your arms. I praise you because entire arsenals of power are waiting to be released from your presence. I know that your presence is not just feeling you, but it is also an intimate relationship with you face to face. I give praise unto you because you ride upon the heaven of heavens as a chariot. Your thunder could be the sound of war coming to my rescue. You have the ability to turn my problems away from me. Your glory covers the earth. Although Adam chose to leave the conversation with you by sin, in your presence there are still the secrets of eternity. For this Lord, I give you honor and praise.

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - July 12, 2007
In his presence as we behold his glory, we become aware of things that we do not see as we follow the things of everyday life. Just as a diver gets beneath the surface and finds the buried treasure of the depths, we can transition into his presence from the fleshly state and begin to see all his awesome provision, and even things that we have never even heard of before. Amos tells us that God reveals his secrets to his servants the prophets. As we go past the veil of the flesh, we hear the whispering winds of the Spirit turn into a gale. God blows away the cobwebs off the flesh and replaces it with the panorama of the power of God. Deuteronomy 29 explains that the secret things belong to God, but he reveals them to us in his presence that they might belong to us forever!
