Persecution Is the Badge of God’s Acceptance of You

By Moses Hightower

You are blessed, for men hate you, reproach you, separate you from their company, and cast out your name as evil for my sake. Your reward is great in heaven; therefore, rejoice and leap for joy. I have consecrated you, and now you have praise in heaven. You are spoken of in heavenly places and divine favor has been given to you. Honor has been bestowed upon you. The persecution against you is a testimony that you have won approval above.  Man’s disapproval of you and their negative expressions concerning you are my actions of heavenly ratifications of favor. Many seek the praises of men. Because you did not bow at the feet of men and spoke the true word of God given to you, my approval has been applied to your life.  Man’s negative expression concerning you is my endorsement of support on your behalf.  Rejoice greatly, for I have declared through the lips of your enemies the endorsement of a true prophet.  If you were a false prophet, then all men would speak well of you.

You do not need man’s approval to be called by me. Certification in heaven is not founded on man’s opinion of you. The truth of your calling will be made known in due time, but for now I do place the badge of my acceptance upon you, which is rejection by man.  Rise up and establish your acceptance of your calling with confidence and rejoicing. Show your respect for my ordination by worthy praises during this time of denunciation by brethren. The coat of my approval has been given to you, and you are hated. His brethren hated Joseph for his dreams and his words. You are also hated for your words. You are not greater than Joseph. Your master was hated. Leap and rejoice that you are counted worthy to suffer shame for my name.

Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. You are living the word of God, and I am living my life out through you. This is a personal relationship with me. Continue to record the testimonies of your life with me. You have laid up my word in your heart; therefore, it is speaking to you and in you.  Do not despise this time of rejection and alienation. It is a glorious time. Hear the voice of my words and fall to the floor in my presence.

(I fell unto the floor in the presence of the Lord, and he laid his hand upon me and ministered unto me.)

The voice of the enemy has spoken against you. I do comfort you with my word and my promises. I am ministering to you by my Spirit as I lay my hand upon you. You are greatly beloved. Now understand the words that I speak unto you. Look into the direction that I am pointing. Behold the line of men before you. Go and stand in the line with the men, for it is the line of prophets of the past, present, and the future. You are called to be in the line. Go, for I have sent you. Open your mouth, and I will touch your tongue again with my finger. Your tongue shall now speak my word boldly. The finger of God shall cast out devils as you speak the words that I shall give unto you.

Stand fast in the liberty that has been granted to you. You are blessed and persecuted for righteousness’ sake; therefore, yours is the kingdom of heaven. Do not despise the fact that men revile you, persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake. Rejoice and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in heaven. Everyone in the line of prophets before you have suffered like persecution, and so shall you and all those in the line after you.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light."

RE: RHEMA - Persecution Is the Badge of God's Acceptance of You

God has promised to give us a mouth and wisdom that none of our adversaries shall be able to gainsay or resist.  Mouth here is the Greek word “the edge of the sword.” No person, spirit, or devil can stop the living, fiery sword of the Spirit, which is the Rhema word.  It will not return void.  Even when we think and it appears that others are being deceived and led astray, it is still cutting away in their heart, and they are miserable even if their words and face do not show it.  We are blessed when we are persecuted for righteousness’ sake. Paul said that he would rejoice in persecutions because when he was weak, then he was strong and the power of Christ rested upon him. Isaiah was a despised prophet as others were despised, but he said to us that every tongue that rose against us in judgment, we would condemn, or the Hebrew word here means “to declare and prove wrong.”

Do not regret the bruises and wounds from the battle on this side of the walls. All these things were necessary. Lift up your eyes to the brighter days on the other side of the walls, and you will see the sunshine of love awaiting your arrival. Greet the rays of grace that are found in the sunshine of my love. Kiss the entire spectrum of this love-light, and you will find that your lips shall speak of the grace found here in the hidden dimensions of my light. I have touched you this day with a fresh touch of my hand. The touch did not make you better, but it paved a way that you might see what has always been there. I have brought you to this place.  Now open up your heart unto the work that I will do in your life.

RE: RHEMA - The Refocusing of Faith and a Revival of Justification by Faith

The book of Acts says that God purifies our hearts by faith.  Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.  As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.  Faith's rivers can refresh and renew a clean heart in us.  It will wash away the doubts and reservations that just seem to attach themselves uninvited into our lives.  We are in the fight of our faith.  Our shield of faith is the One who owns all the shields of the earth.  Every lie of the devil that has been created to burn down our faith is extinguished by the rivers of living water that flows out of our being.  If Eve had acted in faith, she would have told the serpent that she did not need the fruit of the tree that was forbidden. She could have boldly announced that everything that she needed or would ever need was in the presence of God and his voice that came to them every day like daily bread.  If we get our focus on others and their shortcomings, then we will live a life of regret.  We will be like David who said that he had cleansed his heart in vain.  We are not walking in faith in vain.  We have the same spirit of faith.  We have believed and have therefore spoken.  We behold the one who is the creator and the completion of our faith.  Justification is through faith in his blood, and its voice that speaks better things than that of Abel.  As we behold him who shed his blood for us, we will not have difficulty believing his words or his pardon for us.

I praise you my God for you have promised to give me a mouth and wisdom that none of my adversaries shall be able to gainsay or resist.  My mouth is the edge of the sword.  No person, spirit, or devil can stop the living, fiery sword of your Spirit, which is your Rhema word. It will not return void. Even when others are being deceived and led astray, your word is still cutting away deception in their hearts, and they are miserable even if their words and faces do not show it. I am blessed when I am persecuted for righteousness’ sake. Paul said that he would rejoice in persecutions because when he was weak, then he was also strong, for your power rested upon him. Isaiah was despised like all the other prophets, but he said that every tongue that rose against us in judgment, we would condemn, that is, to declare and prove it wrong. I praise you my Lord for giving me a tongue to speak victory and not defeat. Glory be unto you and your name!!

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - June 24, 2007

Cloven tongues like as fire sat upon each of the believers in Acts 2. When you look at the words flame and flames in the Old Testament Hebrew, you will see that God spoke to Moses out of the flames of the bush. Flames or flame means the flashing blade of a sword. We have the sword of the Spirit in our mouth. God promised in Isaiah 30:30 that his mighty voice would be heard with a flame of fire.  Here again it is the blade of a sword that is like a licking flame that devours the adversary. David said that he was among them that had been set on fire, so even those who had been set on fire had tongues that were like swords. As David had these mighty men, we have been filled with might by God’s Spirit and we speak the powerful words of life by the flaming sword of the Spirit. God promised that a sword would be upon all the provisions and population of Babylon in Jeremiah. He will use the sword of our mouth to defeat every liar just as he did to those in Babylon. Truth will reign in the tongues of the transformed.
