The Lord Opened the Book of Our Life and Only He Can Close It

By Moses Hightower

I am the author of a good work in you. I will finish what I started in you. There will be no closure in your life until I have finished with you. I did not begin a good work to end in a bad work. I will accomplish what I set out to do. I am more than able to fulfill what I started, for I am able to do exceeding, abundantly, above all that you are able to ask or think. Do not reckon the finished work a product of your mind or human reasoning. Have faith in my promises. It is impossible for me to lie.  Be confident of this fact: I began a good work in you, and I will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. You must rely on my promises, or unbelief will snare you and hinder you in becoming what you should be. You must be totally convinced that what I have said is true. If you believe what I have said, then why agree with anything that is contrary to the truth of my promises to you?

Be fully persuaded that what I have promised, I will perform. No one can prevent me from accomplishing what I have determined to do. I am the finisher of your faith. No one can terminate your faith. I am the chief executive who has executed your faith. I am the one who works in you both to will and to do of my own good pleasure. Look unto me. I am the author and the finisher of your faith. For the joy that was set before me, I endured the cross, despising the shame, and have sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I am the consummator, the completer. I am the captain, the Prince of Peace. I have made myself known to you. Do not be ashamed of my gospel or of me. Know who you have believed in, and be fully persuaded that I am able to keep that which you have committed unto me against that day. Do not be discouraged because of hard times or difficulties.  Endure hardness as a good soldier of mine. In the end, you will have fought a good fight and finished your course. In the end, you will have kept the faith, and I will give you a crown of righteousness. Do not look unto your own ability or your own sufficiency as a source for arriving at the crowning time and place. Look unto me, the great high priest that is passed into the heavens. I am touched with the feeling of your infirmities; therefore, know of a truth that I understand how you feel. I was tempted in all points just like you are; therefore, I understand the pressure brought on by temptations. Come boldly unto the throne of grace, and you will be given mercy. You will find grace to help you in this time of need. I am the God of all grace. I am the author of grace. My grace is sufficient for you. Who will terminate the grace that is being freely given to you when I am its author and finisher?

No one can dispose of the grace of God. I started out by giving you grace, and I will place the final coat of grace upon your life. You shall be varnished with grace before closure is brought to your life. Your life shall not end nor reach a conclusion until I have finished what I started. Do not believe the limits being expressed by demons. They do not set the boundaries for my plans; neither can they discontinue the fruit of my love unto you. They have no strategy to bar the passage of grace unto you. There is no gate that can block my grace from entering into your life. They have no power to deny grace access unto you. They cannot suspend the grace of God, for I am the author of this eternal salvation and the finisher of the love that prompted me to grant it. Who will separate you from my love?

What will separate you from my love?

I have not contracted the demons of this world as partners in finishing the work of grace in your life. I opened the book of your life and only I can close it. Your life shall not end until I have closed the book of your life and sealed it with the same grace that I started it with.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light."

Words of Light upon the Face of Boundaries, Difficulties, Hard Times, Pressure, Temptations, and Unbelief

RE: RHEMA - The Lord Opened the Book of Our Life and Only He Can Close It

We are epistles known and read of all men. Our story is written not on pages with ink but on the tables of the heart with the Spirit of the Living God.  He is the author and finisher of our faith and not our failure. Eternity holds the record of those who have been written by the Lord who counts when he writes up the people. In the volumes of testimonies, there are the clear records of our lives and what has transpired. God is not only the beginning but the consummation of the work that has begun in us.  We are presented with the picture of God and Lamb as the only authority that has access to sealed books. Even in Isaiah, the book is sealed to those who cannot read. Yet, the testimony is that God will do a work that will devastate the wisdom of the wise and bring to zero the understanding of the prudent. Revelation shows us as the Lamb opens the book as being washed in his blood and reigning as kings and priests in the earth. In this particular place in Revelation, it is a type of Jesus taking away the judgments that could be pronounced on us or the proverbial judge throwing the book at us, and he casts it away from us instead into the earth. We should be swimming in the seas of salvation that wash over our souls. The Lamb is guarding those who are his own and will not allow anyone else access to the book that is his alone.

I have not forgotten my promises unto you. I am God, and I cannot lie. It is impossible for me to lie. I have not held back my promises, but a spirit has influenced you to doubt. Refuse the inspiration of doubt, and allow the faith that I have given to express itself.  Faith is willing to express its ability and confidence. Faith is speaking, but you will not allow it to speak continually. You have expressed a double-mind's view of things and have not received that which you could have. Today is the day of victory. Now go and express the faith of Christ and not the doubts of your mind. All things are possible if you believe.  Lift up your voice in the sanctuary, and declare the hope of the cross. I have made a bridge and placed it under your feet. The cross is a bridge across all troubled waters and through every scorching fire. It is time for "hard-headed" faith and not the time for doubt and unbelief. The enemy has counted on your double-mindedness, but I know that you will abound with thanksgiving because of faith. Go and proclaim the victory that is already won by the cross. Go and proclaim my faithfulness to Israel and the faithfulness to you and the church. I cannot fail. There is no failure in me. There is no darkness in me, neither is there a shadow of turning in me. In me, there is liberty and power. You are not bound. You are free. Now rise up, and proclaim what you know by the Living Word that is in you. I am Jesus, the Lord of lords and the King of kings. Believe on me as the scriptures have declared of me, and the rivers within you shall flow against the fires of discouragement and defeat.

RE: RHEMA - Buckets of Joy, the Instruments for Drawing Water from the Wells of Salvation

We have been drinking from living wells of joy that refresh our hearts from the onslaught of hell. How can we sing the songs of destruction when Deity is dancing with us as he whispers loving promises in our ears?  How can we declare the negative news of the chaos of this world when we have good news from the world to come?  Praise is the plate, spoon, and fork that we are seated at the feast of joy with.  We will feast on the blessings of the bounty of his victory for us.  God comes to us to commune with us as he comforts us and confirms his word all at the same time.  Why should I have a mouth full of mean things to say when mercy is feeding me joy?  Everyone will worship something. Many have a miserable self-worship of their own sorrow.  In their sadness, they create the pitiful day of bitterness they feel that they deserve to wallow in.  Why not worship the wonders of the One who washes away all my tears? If I will feast and drink his joy, he will wash away all my fear and doubt.  He will wash away our depression and disgust as we delight in his indwelling. In life, we can choose to drink our own anger until our anointing is gone.  We can feed on our own hurt until all our hallelujahs are gone. We choose to celebrate and feast on the platters that Hallelujah is serving!

(Continued)

I am teaching you about the design and architecture of misunderstandings and mysteries. Their branches and flowers are unusual and secretive. These branches and flowers spring forth as mistakes and errors. They are like a giant maze many times. Their solutions are not obvious, for their design is to manifest a puzzle that draws their subject into the chambers of confusion. You have looked at their flowers, but I have seen their roots and their flowers. Allow me to show you the roots of these things and behold the simplicity of misunderstandings and mysteries. I saw the beginning of these trials. I know their origin and I know their ending.

90.       Am I worried about these unusual manifestations before you?

91.       Do you seek to understand the nature of your problems, or do you seek to know the God of answers?

92.       Is anything impossible for me?

93.       If I am for you, what can be against you?

Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity that you have given me to become an epistle known and read of all men. I praise you because you have written my story on the tables of the heart with your Spirit.  I behold you as the author and the finisher of my faith.  I give you praise for the testimony that you have given me, which is a clear record of my life.  You are the beginning and the consummation of the work in me.  I give adoration unto you for your wisdom in sealing the book, devastating the wisdom of the wise, and bringing to zero the understanding of the prudent.  I am grateful that you took away my judgments and cast them away from me.  Thank you for washing my soul with salvation and not allowing anyone to access the book that is yours alone.  You are an awesome God.

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - June 21, 2007

God knows our down sitting and uprising. Even in our weakness, he arranges miracles to be present. Samson was a man that battled the desires of his flesh. Yet, when he thought that he would die of thirst, God turned the discarded jawbone into a well of water. God has the ability to take a wadded up piece of paper that has been scribbled on and torn and turn it into the pages of a best seller. He is truly the author and finisher of the epistle of faith that has been written in our hearts. If the entire world could not contain the books that should be written of just three and one half years of Jesus’ life, then what he has done has run out of pages in our lives and begun to stretch out an endless scroll of his goodness.
