Though the Storms Keep Raging and the Winds Keep Blowing, Your Soul Is Anchored in the Lord (Part 1)

By Moses Hightower

Today is the day that I have made. Rejoice and be glad in my day. You are not without a comforter. Your head is not hung down in the pit of destruction. The hands of your Savior have lifted your head. I have brought you unto a banqueting table in spite of the frustrating effects of the adversary. Keep your attention on me. Do not let your mind imagine the vain things fostered by the inspiration of carnality and devils. Today is a new day, a day to rejoice and be glad. You have salvation. Be content, for godliness has been given to you as a reward for faith. Contentment has been shown to you as a reward for your thanksgiving. Lift up your eyes unto the hills of salvation and above the clouds of darkness overhead. I have brought you a gift and wrapped it in a fire. The gift of love, which I have given you, is hidden from the carnal eyes, for carnality will not seek a gift wrapped in the trial of fire. Place the clothes of faith on and reach into this fire with confidence in me. I will hand you the gift on a platter of grace. Open your eyes from the slumber of the last days and behold the hands of grace with gifts in its hands. Take the gift of love and embrace it with a heart filled with gratitude, for I ordained this fire to hide the preciousness of my desires for you. No one will steal the treasures of Christ that I have hidden for you in the fire. The chamber of secrecy is without a key. Only those whose names are written on the chamber can enter in and find the gift laid up for you.

Do not worry about the gainsayers, the deceivers, the schemers, and the robbers. I have ordained you and called you unto my own purpose. Rest and be assured that I have not forgotten my promises unto you. Though the storms keep raging and the winds keep blowing, remember that I am with you through the raging storms and through the mighty confusing winds of time. I am with you always, even unto the end of the age. Be confident of my abiding presence. While confusion conspires with another scandal and more lies, lift up your eyes and behold the light of the day within you. Do not be moved from the stronghold of faith and love. The storms of life will continue to rage unto the end of time here on the earth, but know this of a truth: I am faithful in the raging storm. My word has gone out of my mouth. It will not return to me empty or void. My word is settled in heaven. I have hidden it in your heart and extended it unto your tongue. Thrust it through the atmosphere of confusion and clear these confusing things from your presence.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light."

RE: RHEMA - Though the Storms Keep Raging and the Winds Keep Blowing, Your Soul Is Anchored in the Lord (Part 1)

We rejoice because the same One who led forth the prisoners out of the pit in Zechariah will deliver us today.  Before God raised up Gideon, the Israelites were living in dens, caves, and pits.  By the covenant of his blood, he delivers us from every confinement that tries to hold us hostage.  His blood has not only purchased our redemption, but it also includes contentment. God has not given us the spirit of dread or anxiety. No matter what circumstance or contentious person may be before our face, he can still calm the raging flux of life.  Paul shouts to us from the prisons of Asia that he had learned that whatsoever state that he was in to be content.  In Psalms 107, David who is not a mariner describes the wind and raging seas that cause men to reel to and fro and cry for relief.  We have the promise that God will bring us into our desired haven. Jesus ends the Sermon on the Mount by declaring that the person who will hear his words and do them will build his life on an unshakable foundation of trust and confidence in God. The rains, floods, and winds will come, but the house or life will not be shaken.  We can praise God that we will not be moved though the mountains wash down into the sea.

Turn your focus back to me. Many are focusing on themselves and their ministries; therefore, they are not seeing clearly. When people lose their focus, they begin to exalt themselves and lose their sense of justification. Return unto a childlike attitude of faith, for of such is the kingdom of God. Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein. I am refocusing your faith. When your faith is refocused, you will begin to preach Jesus again. Unless I am preached, the generation of men is declared instead of my generation. Go and declare my generation and not your own. I am in you to declare it. My zeal will perform it. Rise up and go forth in the power of the Spirit.

RE: RHEMA - Don’t Be Distracted by Those Who Make Issues Over the Gifts of the Spirit

Pride has masked merchants of death as ministers of light. All of us who have been brought out of the bondage of judgment and condemnation will refuse to listen to any voice except the voice of grace. Legalistic voices of disqualification will fall on deaf ears. God is putting the true members of the body together in support of one another even though many miles may separate them. All those who seek to condemn and destroy others will fall into their own trap. Their criticism will start the bonfire of their own destruction. Love lifts our eyes to the hungry and thirsty. They must have living bread and a true word of healing. Debate and argument over who can be used or not in some gift has never brought edification. Let us minister as God has given us the ability and sent us forth with his words that will multiply like the fish and loaves. Those who ask for bread will not receive a serpent!

(Continued)

I desire to say concerning you, “This is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased.” Without faith, it is impossible to please me.  Look up into the heavenly places and notice that the heavens are opened unto you. I dwell within you, and I am speaking inside of you.

34.       Why listen to another testimony when you have access to my testimony within you?

The apostasy of the hour was placed into motion because of unbelief. Do not join these renegades. Stand fast in the liberty wherewith I have made you free from all bondage. Clothe yourself with the whole armor of God so that you may be able to withstand in this evil day.

35.       How will you stand if you have not pledged with your mouth an open declaration of your trust in me?

Lord Jesus, I rejoice because you are the same one that led the prisoners out of the pit in Zechariah, and you will deliver me today. My heart is filled with thanksgiving because you have set me free from the dens, caves, and pits that the Israelites lived in.  I am grateful for the covenant of your blood that delivers us from every confinement that tries to hold us hostage. I am overjoyed by the redemption and contentment that you purchased for me with your blood. My soul is free from dread and anxiety because of your Spirit; therefore, I can rejoice in liberty. I rest in the assurance that no matter what circumstance or contentious person may be before my face, you will calm the raging flux of life for me. By your grace, I will be content in whatever state I find myself in. Though the wind and raging seas have caused me to cry out for relief, I shout for joy because of your promise to bring me into my desired haven. I stand in faith on the unshakable foundation of trust and confidence in you, and I thank you for the grace to not only hear your words but to do them also. The rains, floods, and wind will come, but my house will not be shaken.  I am comforted today because you have promised that though the mountains wash down into the sea, I will not be moved. You are truly an awesome God.  Hallelujah!

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - May 28, 2007

Godliness with contentment is great gain.  Hebrews 13:5 speaks of being content with such things as we have and then adds the unbelievable promise in triplicate that God will in no way fail you, or give you up, or leave you without support. He will not, he will not, he will not in any degree leave you helpless or forsake you.   He will not let you down or relax his hold on us.  Most assuredly not.  His blood not only purchased salvation, but it also purchased for us the peace and security of the Mighty God building a wall around us as his purchased possession. No intruder or trespasser will be allowed on his private property. This is why we are exhorted to give no place to the devil.  His distractions and false displays are banished to the darkness. Although storms and trials may arise, Jesus will take us in his arms and walk above the winds and waves to our desired haven.
