Eating and Drinking in the Banqueting House Under the Shadow of Love

By Moses Hightower

Taste and see that I am good. You have tried the things from the table of devils and found out what a bad taste was left in your mouth. Do not taste the things offered from that table any longer, for it is always damnable. Tasting me is a wonderful experience.  How can you taste me without tasting my words?

My words are sweet unto your taste. Taste them and enter into a new experience with me. I entered into a new dimension when I, by the grace of God, tasted death for every man. Taste the good word of God and the powers of the age to come. I tasted death so that you might taste life. Life is in these words being spoken in your ears. The spirit gives life. The words that I speak unto you are spirit and they are life. Taste of life and be resurrected above trouble. Try these words that are spoken unto you and see that they are making a difference in the outcomes projected by the enemy. I have opened your ears so that you might try the words that you hear. There are many who have ears to hear yet do not hear. Taste and see that I am good, for blessed is the man that trusts in me. I am gracious. Taste my graciousness and remember that those who know my name will place their trust in me, for I have not forsaken them that seek me. I am the King of glory, the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your head, for it is a gate for me to enter into. You have become an everlasting door for me, the King of glory to enter into.

I am the Lord of hosts. Taste of these words, and your eyes shall be opened to see the host that is with you. Those who are with you are more than they that are with your enemies. I am satisfying your soul with marrow and fatness. Your mouth shall praise me with joyful lips as you remember me upon your bed and meditate upon me while you watch at night. I am your help. Now rise upon the shadow of my wings with the legs of rejoicing. My right hand is upholding you.  Do not worry about those who seek to destroy you, for they that seek your soul shall go into the lower parts of the earth. I will stop the mouth of those who speak lies against you. They shall fall by the sword of their own mouths. As the apple tree is among the trees of the wood, so are you to me among the sons of men. Sit down under the shadow of my wings with great delight and taste of my sweet fruit. The shadow of my wings covers the banqueting house that I have brought you unto. Behold the banner over you, and eat from the hands of love. Taste of my love and know again how great my goodness is. Taste of my love and you will become cheerful in the midst of great sorrow. I have hidden you in the banqueting house. Eat and be filled with the word of God. It is sweet unto the taste, yea, sweeter than honey to your mouth. Show forth the praises of the God who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. In this banqueting house of good things, I am gathering together those who shall be kings and priests unto me. They shall reign on the earth.

Do not fear death, for if you die for my name’s sake, you will behold my face in righteousness and you shall be satisfied when you awake with my likeness. In this life, you will have mothers, sisters, children, houses, brethren, and lands if you have left all and have followed me. Persecutions come with the blessing.  Look at the eternal life at the end that sums up the package and rejoice. Look at the exchange for forsaking all. It is a hundredfold. Rejoice, for I am abundantly satisfying you with the fatness of my house. I am making you to drink of the river of my pleasures. I have placed within you the fountain of life.  My light causes you to see the light.  Sit down in the banqueting house and eat by this light of love. Open your mouth wide, for I am filling it with good things. Taste and see how good I am.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light."

RE: RHEMA - Eating and Drinking in the Banqueting House Under the Shadow of Love

God is so in love with us that he will stretch out his scepter just as Ahasuerus did to Esther.  He will offer us half his kingdom even before we ask one request!  At the banquet for the king and queen, or symbolically the bride and Christ, Haman was hanged on his own gallows. God will bring us to his banqueting house and deal with our enemies as we delight ourselves in him.  We have been invited to a feast of fat things.  Isaiah 25 invites us to a feast of wines or drinking of God's love and power that will destroy or swallow up death.  We have a tendency to dine on death too much. Our feasting should be on life and that more abundantly. In the same chapter of Isaiah, God promises to take away the veil and covering. Heaven wants to pull back the curtains of life and show us the tables of rich foods and delicacy's of grace and blessing that have been prepared for us.  New dimensions of feasting or worship are ours to enjoy.

Time is short. The laborers are few. I am sending more laborers into the harvest to carry the light of the glorious gospel unto perishing souls. Arise and go preach. The hour is late and time is spent farther than you perceive. Arise and go preach the gospel everywhere to every creature. Do not allow the great falling away of brothers and sisters to affect you or your zeal to win the lost. Do not be distracted from my purpose, which is to seek and to save those who are lost. If you could have been on the Titanic and beheld the perishing souls who did not have lifeboats as a refuge, then you would understand the urgency of the hour. Familiarize yourself with the history of the Titanic, and you will have a different view of your purpose. Come away with me in the spirit, and behold the people of that ship screaming as the terror of death grips them with its cold teeth of surety. Behold the fear on their faces. I have sent you with the lifeboat of the gospel. Will you carry it to them, or will you stand detached from the purpose as they perish without a lifeboat?

Go and preach the gospel. Souls are perishing while you are waiting to make the decision to obey. You must redeem the time, for the hour is much later than you perceive.

RE: RHEMA - The Signature of Redemption upon the Dotted Line of Uncertainty

We would never think of signing a business contract without reading the fine print. God has nothing to hide in his contracts, and they will never have some catch clause in them. We are not afraid to sign on the dotted line of his deeds because he has already certified the title in his faithfulness. We had no authority to sign it or speak it, but he empowered us spiritually and legally. We are, therefore, loaded for Lucifer. (“Loaded for bear.”) We have signed our papers to carry the proper side arms. Love is loaded with the light of life leaping like a lion, loosing the laws of the Lamb's liberty. Praise is packed with promises and prophecies of plenty, and as princes we are proceeding and prevailing in putting principalities in their place. We are legally packing heat. The power of his words will target the enemy every time and not miss! So, we will shout our freedom and declare our victory so that the headlines in hell read, "Hey, they have not silenced them yet."

(Continued)

The cold love of the hour will not carry you across the bridge that goes from death to life. You must be baptized with the fire of love. Only by the fire of love is the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus illuminated and desired. Only the consuming fire of my love can destroy the confidence that you have in the flesh. Give me your confidence that you have in the flesh, and I will grant you a baptism of love. Only then will you know me the way that I desire you to know me.

27.       When you meet the hatred of this world, what will you do if you have not journeyed across life's bridge?

You know that you have passed from death unto life because you love the brethren. If you do not love your brother, you abide in death. Love will compel you to lay down your life for the brethren. You perceive the love of God because Christ laid down his life for you.

28.       How will you lay down your life for your brethren when you have this world's good and see your brethren have need and shut up your bowels of compassion from them?

29.       Where is the love of God in you?

I magnify your name, O Lord, and give you thanks for loving me and continually granting me favor in your sight. I am grateful that you have stretched out your scepter of grace just as Ahasuerus did to Esther.  He offered her half his kingdom even before the request was made!  Many will come against your bride and speak all manner of evil, but you are our defense. As the banqueting table is made for you and your bride, my enemies will be hung on their own gallows. You will bring your bride to the banqueting house and deal with my enemies as your bride delights herself in you. I have been invited to a feast of fat things.  I am invited to a feast of wines or drinking of your love and power that will destroy and swallow up death.  In times past I had a tendency to dine on death, but your grace refocused me back on life that is more abundant. You have promised to take away the veil and covering. Heaven’s desire is to pull back the curtains of life and show me the tables of rich foods and delicacies of grace and blessing that are being prepared for me.  New dimensions of feasting or worship are mine to enjoy. Therefore, I am elated for this great invitation of the banqueting meal of your great love and mercy that you have supplied. I give you thanks.

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - May 25, 2007

Those who speak against the church, the prophet, and the kingdom of God do so at their own peril. Every trap and speech that they have made to attack the truth will be the very thing that will come back in the form of destruction that they will not recognize until it is too late.  We have indescribable treasures and feastings that are set before us. All that we enjoy daily is just a little taste of what we can have if we will pursue his grace. We often quote the scripture that says that God is able to make all grace abound that we may abound to every good work. It also adds that we will always have all sufficiency in all things. All of this is just a taste of the powers of the world to come. Paul and David were prophets ahead of their time. God loves to do things ahead of time. Remember the marriage feast, where Jesus said, "My time… my hour is not yet come and casting out the demons of Gadarra before the time?" Now that it is time what kind of abundance will he flood our lives with? David saw a resurrection, rejoiced, and feasted on it before it was a teaching at all in Israel. Paul saw how that grace would cover the mountains of the law with an ocean so deep in love that the flood of Noah was a shower. Whatever we desire, God has more than that and more than that..........!!!!!!!
