The Need of Compassion and Reconciliation Is Also Taught by Nature

By Moses Hightower

I am a devoted parent. I brought you forth unto this lively hope by the word of God. By the incorruptible seed of the word of God I brought you forth. I did not bring you forth to die. I brought you forth to live. Life more abundantly has been given to you. I have not abandoned you because you have grown in me. I took care of you when you were born again as a babe in Christ. The beauty of your being when you were young in me is just as important to me now as it was then. I care for you. I know the entire history of man. I know your beginning and your ending. I know the first of man’s beginning, and I know his ending. I do not need a history lesson to find out anything. I know everything. I do not need to study the fossils to learn anything about your history. I am God and I created man. I formed man out of the dust of the earth, breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. Trust in the account of your creation given in my word, for it is true. Excavations may tell you some things about man, but no excavation can bring to life that which I created and observed from birth to death. Do not place your hope in man’s concepts of man, but place your hope in the word of God and me. My word is forever settled in heaven. It will never pass away. My truth endures unto all generations. All generations have had an opportunity to know me, for my word has reached unto them all. People do by nature the things contained in the law. They show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another. I have shown man of my existence. That which may be known of me is manifest in them. The invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even my eternal power and Godhead.  Man is without excuse.

Go and sit at the feet of nature and learn of me. In nature, among the animals is revealed the great need of reconciliation. They care for one another. Within them is the evidence of the need of compassion. The heavens declare my glory and the firmament shows my handiwork. Day unto day utters speech and night unto night shows knowledge. There is no speech nor language where the voices of day and night are not heard. Their line is gone out through the earth and their words to the end of the world. Behold the glory declared by the heavens. Conservationist battle to protect wild life in nature and are the keepers of the wild. How much more am I going to fight to protect you from the predators of the hour?

If conservationist who did not create wild life care for the animals, how much more will I have compassion on those I created.  Lift up your eyes on high and behold who created everything. I bring out their host by number. I call them all by names by the greatness of my might, for I am strong in power and not one fails.  Nature is an excellent teacher. Go there and learn of my ways and me.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light."

Words of Light upon the Face of Ignorance, Lack of Love, and Unbelief

RE: RHEMA - The Need of Compassion and Reconciliation Is Also Taught by Nature

God considers our frame and knows that we are but flesh. As a Father and Creator, he pities his children.  In Genesis 8:21, God said in his heart or with hurt in his heart, "I will never smite anymore every living thing."  Psalms 145:8 declares that God is gracious and full of compassion and of great mercy. Our design is so well understood because that we are just like him in image. God would never get any pleasure out of destroying anything that possessed his image. God demonstrated through Moses and Aaron as they took incense and ran between the living and the dead to make an atonement or reconciliation for those who were speaking against them. We cannot only love and have compassion on those who would love us in return but on those who would never respond at all. Colossians 1:20 is open ended and speaks of things in heaven and earth.  In other words, everything that seems to be in a state of disorder or chaos in the universe will be set right in the economy of reconciliation. If the heavens promise this kind of resolution, then we must be convinced that Jesus Christ will do everything possible to have mercy and compassion upon us.

Go and preach the gospel of Christ, for it is the only light that can enable man to see. Man is detached from me. He must be connected to me. Man must be reconciled unto me, the true light. I must reach them. I have chosen the gospel as the means by which they are reached. Only the light will enable them to see the icebergs of cold love in the waters of sin all about them. They are headed on a collision course with these icebergs. Remember the Titanic.

RE: RHEMA - Spiritual Revenue for Profitable Ministry

Everything in the visible world comes out of the invisible world.  He is truly the God of the seen and the unseen. God is. His sovereign grace pulls back the curtains and allows us to see the ongoing effort of heaven on our behalf.  We are like the ragged beggar unless we put on the apparel of grace.  Love becomes our ministry with its designer clothing.  Pride will unravel every garment we would try to put on. God deals in his mercy with our ignorance and continues after we know him because the enemy is always fashioning destruction that would try to entrap us. He chooses to reach into our lives daily with hands of aggressive grace that slaps away the fingers pointed in accusation at us. Our testimony is set to flowing and bubbling with overflowing thanksgiving and becomes a river that washes away the resistance before us.

(Continued)

I am both Lord and Christ. Go and preach who I am and do not fear their faces. My word is in your tongue. Go and declare this truth, and they will be pricked in their hearts. The love of many is waxing colder. I am a consuming fire. I am a consuming fire of love.

25.       Where are those who love like the apostle Paul?

Paul loved with such a consuming love that he wished that he were accursed from Christ for his brethren, his kinsmen according to the flesh. He knew that Christ was God blessed forever. You will not love like Paul until you know me as Paul knew me. He had a relationship with me that soared high above his confidence in the flesh. He counted the things that were gain to him loss for Christ. He wanted to know me, the power of my resurrection and the fellowship of my sufferings. He wanted to attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

26.       How will you pass from death to life if you do not love your brethren with a fervent love?

O Lord, I am so thankful that you consider my frame, for you know that I am but flesh. As my Father and Creator, you pity me, your child.  I am grateful that your word allows me to see that your heart hurt when you declared that you would never smite every living thing. I praise you, Lord, because you are gracious and full of compassion and of great mercy. My design is so well understood because I am just like you in image. It brings me joy to know that you would never get any pleasure out of destroying anything that possesses your image.

As Moses and Aaron took incense and ran between the living and the dead to make an atonement or reconciliation for those who were speaking against them, you have demonstrated that you will do the same for me. By your grace, I will not only love and have compassion on those who would love me in return but also on those who would never respond at all. My soul is overjoyed because you have allowed me to understand that everything that seems to be in a state of disorder or chaos in the universe will be set right in the economy of reconciliation. If the heavens promise this kind of resolution, then I determine to be convinced that you will do everything possible to have mercy and compassion upon me. I praise your Holy name!

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - May 24, 2007

Mercy rejoiceth against judgment. Jesus told the religious crowd in his day that they needed to learn the meaning of having mercy and not sacrifice. It is easy for us to go through the motions in church and do what everybody else does as our religious sacrifice of the week. Yet, when it comes to having mercy in the public and private parts of our lives, we meet our real selves with all of our selfish tendencies. Reconciliation and atonement will make us more like God than any other activity. That is why the prophet instructed us to love mercy. In the Hebrew, the word for mercy is a man breaking through the fence of himself and running down the road to a poor man to bless him with a blessing that he can never repay. While we are running this race, let us run down to those who need his mercy, and mercy will run to our defense at all times.
