The Faithfulness of God Ministering to His People During Nauseating Effects Produced by a Storm of Disappointment

By Moses Hightower

A very subtle host came against you and my body. They came to rob you of your joy. Remember: The joy of the Lord is your strength. The kingdom of God is not meat and drink but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. You must learn to keep your hope rooted in the spirit where the enemy cannot rob you. The enemy delayed your expectations, and your reaction to the delay was the nauseating effect of deep disappointment. When I allow delay to occur, know this of a truth, a bigger blessing is on the way, or I am saving you from catastrophe or ruin. I have promised you blessings. The blessing of the Lord makes rich and does not add any sorrow; therefore, trust in my timing and not your expectations or desires. When your expectations fall short, dig deeper into my joy and draw from the refreshing waters of my strength. He who believes on me shall never be ashamed or confounded. Your expectations do not always align with my will. My will is always on course. Trust in my will that is being done in those who will allow it to be done in their lives.

The enemy came to frustrate the design of my blessings. You looked into the hands that you had expected to bless you, and those hands closed upon you. The hands were not the source of the blessings. Do not look to hands, but look to the source. Though all the hands in this life close up against you, I will create new hands to send my blessings to you. Be fully persuaded that what I have promised, I am able to perform. If I am able, I will perform it.

Is any thing too hard for me?

Is my hand waxed short?

Trust in me with all your heart and do not lean to your own understanding. You shall surely see that my word shall come to pass.  Do not be upset by the tactics of the enemy. I am inside of you. I am the Lord your God, a mighty God and terrible. I am always working for you, and there is no restraint to your God to save by many or by few. Numbers do not limit me. I can do everything. No thought can be withheld from me. There are no secrets kept from me. You should have counseled with me instead of your emotions, and then would you have had a testimony worth sharing with others. I worked the miracle out for you in spite of your unbelief, but you lost your testimony because you allowed the enemy to play on your failed expectations. Always place your trust in me. I reign. I am clothed with majesty and strength. My throne is established of old. I am from everlasting. When the floods of disappointment rise up against you, speaking with the loud voice of despair and their floods lift up their waves of confusion, the Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters. I am mightier than the mighty waves of disappointment and my testimonies are sure.

Sing unto me. Make a joyful noise to the rock of your salvation. Come before my presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto me with new songs. I am a great God and a great King above all gods. I am your God, and you are the people of my pasture, the sheep of my hand. Hear my voice and trust in me with all your heart. I made the heaven and the earth by my great power and stretched out arm. There is nothing too hard for me. The wind of disappointment blew against you. I have caused it to cease. Your faith became very small, but my faithfulness stretched forth and made up the difference. Wherefore did you doubt?

I am faithful and will not suffer you to be moved.  Only believe.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light."

A very subtle host came against Christ’s body and me. They came to rob me of my joy. I remember that the joy of the Lord is my strength. The kingdom of God is not meat and drink but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. I must learn to keep my hope rooted in the spirit where the enemy cannot rob me. The enemy came to frustrate the design of God’s blessings. I looked into the hands that I had expected to bless me and those hands closed upon me. He is a great God and a great King above all gods. He is my God, and I am a part of the people of his pasture, the sheep of his hand. I hear his voice and trust in him with all my heart. He made the heaven and the earth by his great power and stretched out arm. There is nothing too hard for him. The wind of disappointment blew against me; however, he has caused it to cease. My faith became very small, but his faithfulness stretched forth and made up the difference.  Past disappointments persuaded me to doubt for a season; however, a revival of faith has caused me to believe again that God is faithful and will not suffer me to be moved. I believe.

RE: RHEMA - The Faithfulness of God Ministering to His People During Nauseating Effects Produced by a Storm of Disappointment

It seemed that Jesus had missed an appointment with his friend Lazarus who was now dead.  Mary and Martha were weeping in sorrow and disappointment. They did not hide their disappointment when they said that if Jesus had been there that their brother would still be alive.  Their hurt and disappointment turned to rejoicing when the creator made the vast domain of death vomit Lazarus back into life.  Now it was death that was sick and disappointed. God will not fail to keep his promise.  We think that something has not happened yet, and we are bound by the buzz word of Lazarus sisters, "by this time." They were referring to the irreversible process of death's corruption. Yet, the one who gives us a divine nature for a nature of wrath reversed the irreversible process and Lazarus was very much alive.  In Psalms 86:7, David said, "In the day of my trouble, I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me."  Trouble here is the Hebrew word tsarah that means the times of severe straits or a tight place. When we feel squeezed by disappointment, God is just about to break through with a channel widening flood of a river that will burst its banks with blessings in our lives. We will not doubt, but we will delight ourselves in the Lord, and he shall bring it to pass.

The things that you are beholding have been hidden from the wise and prudent, but I have revealed them unto you and those who become as babes. My eternal power and Godhead are revealed unto you. Blessed are your eyes, for they see. Many prophets and kings have desired to see the things that I have shown you and to hear the things that you have heard. Prophets and kings have not seen nor heard what you have heard. Continually humble yourself before me, and you will see and hear greater things. The evil spirits that left people yesterday in the services were acts that I wrought by the words that I gave you. The evil spirits could have leaped on you and overcame you, but they could not, for I ordained their departure so that the name of the Lord could be magnified. Many will begin to believe and confess their sins as they see the power of God manifested in the services. The word of God is growing in your midst. It will prevail.

RE: RHEMA - The Finished Work of Redemption Nullifies the Effects of All Wrath

Flowing through the stream of time, redemption's effectual work courses over every impediment and cuts a channel across the barren face of solid rock. Just as the quasars and exploding novas remove entire galaxies, there are many others that God puts in their place. Let others rage and threaten and even explode all over their area of influence. They will just eventually create an empty space that God will fill with a brand new creation. Behold, his love will never let us go or leave us at the mercy of the attacks of others, but he will defend us because he demands, “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of those who I have chosen in my love for myself?”

Take unto yourself the whole armor of God.

4. How will you wear the armor of God without the undergarments of humility?

5. How will you wear outer garments of darkness and the armor of God also?

6.  Will you wear the armor of God without casting off the outer works of darkness?

7.  Who can eat at my table and the table of devils also?

By Tony Johnson

Lord, I thank you for your faithfulness and for always being on time.  I am grateful for the foreknowledge that your time is not as my time. Just as some thought that you missed an appointment with your friend Lazarus, I have given in to disappointment when my timing did not line up with your will for my life. My heart is glad today because you have turned my disappointment and sorrow into joy and rejoicing. You caused death to vomit Lazarus back into life, and I am relieved that you have given me victory and left disappointment and sorrow sick and in dismay in my life.  It is a joy to know that you will never fail to keep your promises. The words “by this time” referred to an irreversible process of death’s corruption that had taken place in Lazarus’ body, but your divine nature has reversed the irreversible in my situation, and for this I give you thanks. I know that in the times of tsarah or the times of severe straits and tight places, you will answer me when I pray. Though I feel squeezed by disappointment, I shout Hallelujah for the channel widening flood of blessings you are about to send through my life. By your grace, I will not doubt, but I will delight myself in you, and you will bring it to pass in Jesus name.

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - May 16, 2007

Our God is so faithful that he stops time and reverses it to bring to pass his promises. Lazarus was in a corruption process, but God called him back and reversed it. No matter how detrimental and devastating any of our circumstances are, we will never be disappointed. We may have to endure the trial and pressure of life, but we will be rushed into the presence of the One who will hasten his word in its time to perform it. He is the same One who caused the almond rod to bud and bear almonds overnight in the presence of his oracle. His word in us is as his prophetic breath that will cause a harvest to spring forth overnight in our lives. We will not be depressed in a famine but rejoicing in the feast of his blessings.
