We Are Anchored to the Hope of Glory, Not Redeemed To Be Lost in the Undercurrents of a Torrential Upheaval of Emotions

By Moses Hightower

Do not act on the emotions that are running through your life now. Your emotions are like a river on its own course. Do not follow that course, for it is not mine. The river of emotions is a deep river. The bottom of it is the dwelling place for many unknown motives where misdirected actions are formulated. Fear resides there. Unforgiveness resides there. Pride resides there. Unbelief hides there. Do not make any decisions based on how you feel. I have given you a relationship with me. I will direct your life and give you the right decision. My decisions are based on divine love, knowledge, and purpose. I am living my life out in you. I am the hope of glory. Hope does not lead you to the waterfall of shame. Hope has become your rock and your trust. Look to the end of this violent flow of emotional upheaval. Grace stands there. It did not simply stand there while you journeyed through this river. It has been with you all the way. Gird up the loins of your mind. Be sober and hope to the end for the grace that is brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. I did not redeem you with the precious blood of Christ to lose you in the undercurrents of your emotions. Believe in me wholly. Christ was raised up from the dead so that your faith and hope might be in me, Jesus, the Eternal Spirit. You have hope. I have closed off the mouth of the waterfall of iniquity. I have corrected you and your course. Your emotions and your strength do not have any hope in them. If you depend on them, your hope shall be cut off, and your trust shall be a spider's web. If you depend on them, your house shall not stand. Though you hold it fast, it shall not endure. I have anchored you to the hope of glory and drawn you to the depth of trial where the deep calls to the deep. I will not cast you away, neither will I help the evildoers. Hold fast to your hope. Your mouth shall be filled with laughing, and your lips shall be filled with rejoicing. Those who hate you shall be clothed with shame and the dwelling place of the wicked shall come to naught.

Rejoice in the deep currents of life. You are anchored. Let your heart be glad and your flesh rest in hope. I will not leave you banished at the bottom of torrential emotions. You will not drown here, neither will you see shame. The path of life is yours. The hope of glory is your friend, and in my presence is fullness of joy. At my right hand there are pleasures forevermore. Do not be ashamed to trust in my voice. It is the foundation of your faith. If you believe in my voice and know that it is I who speaks unto you, then you will be accredited with righteousness. Your prayers shall be effectual and profitable. I have submerged you to this level of trial to endorse your faith in me. You have trusted on me that I would deliver you. I took you out of your mother's womb. Hope has been alive in you from the beginning of your life. I was your God before the foundations of the world, and I will not cease to be your God because petitions of men have been presented to you. Your hope is in me. Your flesh is not in your own teeth. Your life is in my hands. If I slay you, trust me, but do not maintain your own ways or an emotional direction. I am your salvation, and I have ordered your steps. Do not fear. You are on course in a deep torrential upheaval. Keep your trust in me. I have heard your cries and responded to your eyes that are lifted up unto me. Your eyes have waited upon me. I will have mercy upon you.  Only believe.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light."

Words of Light upon the Face of Emotions, Evildoers, Fear, Pride, Unbelief, and Unforgiveness

RE: RHEMA - We Are Anchored to the Hope of Glory, Not Redeemed to Be Lost in the Undercurrents of a Torrential Upheaval of Emotions

Faith is a choice and so is love. Neither will last if they are based on emotions. Volition is the basis for all righteousness. Our tendency and propensity is to be moved greatly by the emotional tides that flow in our lives. If our hope is the Rock of Ages, then we are not moved though the seas roar and the mountains are tossed into the seas. Our river of hope and security is in the name of the Lord. God has not given us the spirit of fear, so that current did not come from God. Perfect love casteth out fear. Hope does not bring us to shame. God's love is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost that is poured out in our lives. A kingdom is the domain of a king. God's kingdom is not built on the foundation of emotions or transitory feelings. It is indeed righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. We have been begotten unto a lively hope by the resurrection. We have been appointed to an inheritance that is incorruptible that fadeth not away, reserved in the heavens for us. Our anchor of hope is sure and steadfast within the veil. It is sure and steadfast, and we have full assurance that it will not slip away.

Come to the table of victory again and eat its bread and drink its wine. Do not be drunken on the wine of this world, but be drunk on the Holy Ghost. Come. There is revival in your bosom. Come to the activity of the Spirit, and you will behold the wind of a new Pentecost.

RE: RHEMA - The Shower of Love for the Debris of a Spiritual Fog and the Dust of Carnality

Love will not only cover, but it will also wash away the debris of destruction with its healing, therapeutic words.  We are washed by the Rhema word. As we speak it, there should be a washing away of fear in those who hear us and also a deep cleansing for us. In the One who is love are the treasures of wisdom and knowledge that will fill our hearts with the assurance of his commitment to us. We are invited to look at life through the lens of the miraculous. In the holy of holies that is before the mercy seat, the only light is the supernatural light of the Shekinah of glory. As we view all of life in that light, love will give us mercy’s perspective. Surely goodness and mercy will follow, surround us, and go before us. We need to wash the windows of our dwelling. The light of the body is the eye.  If our eye be single, then our body is full of light. If the light that is in us be darkness, then how great is the darkness? When we wash away the things of personal reservation, we will not shadow or tint the light of love that would illuminate us and cleanse us. It has long been a thought of my mind that the creation began when the creator took the cloth of light and washed the face of the earth free of darkness. Creation will wash us with the washing of regeneration over and over again if we will hear his voice. Doubt’s fog is disbursed by the driving rains of the power of the Holy Ghost.  As we stand and dance in the rain of rejoicing, our minds are cleansed and our spirits are set free.

(Continued)

I have not called you to become an enemy to the cross of Christ. I have called you and granted you inspiration to converse as a citizen of heaven. Inspire others to have their conversation in heaven, for all should look there for me, the Savior. I have not forgotten my promises to you.

463.    Are you focusing on promises or the God who promised?

Follow peace with all men and holiness, and then will you enjoy your fellowship with me without the estranged feelings from the darkness of your emotions. You will see me clearer as you follow in this manner. I am not visible to those who have impure hearts. I am not visible to those who do not follow after peace with all men and holiness. Moses saw me who is invisible.  Man does not have power over my invisibility, but I allow some who are spiritual to see as Moses saw. The voice of the enemy seeks to discourage you and turn you from faith.

464.    Where will you turn if unbelief becomes your destination?

Lord, I thank you that my faith and love is a choice. Your faith and your love reside within me. I know that my faith and my love will not last if I base them upon my emotions. I understand that volition is the basis for all righteousness. I appreciate the grace that you have given me and for not allowing my tendency and my propensity to be moved greatly by my emotional tides that flow in my life. My hope is in you, my Rock of ages; therefore, I am not moved though the sea’s roar and the mountains are tossed into the seas. Your name, Lord, is my river of hope and my security. I give you praise because you have not given me the spirit of fear. Your perfect love casteth out all of my fears.

I am so thankful that your hope does not bring me to shame. I am appreciative of your love that is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Ghost that has been poured out in my life.  I know that a kingdom is the domain of a king, but your kingdom is not built on the foundation of emotions or transitory feelings. I am grateful that your kingdom is indeed righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. I offer praise to you because I have been begotten unto a lively hope by the resurrection. Thank you for appointing me to an inheritance that is incorruptible, that does not fade away and is reserved in the heavens for me. You are my anchor of hope that is sure and steadfast within the veil, and I am confident and have full assurance that it will not slip away.  I give you praise.

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - April 26, 2007

Emotions are not steel and choices may waver, but our delight is in the law of the Lord, and we will meditate in it day and night. God's word is the concrete that establishes an indestructible foundation and framework of the structure of our faith. Our faith is not in the vacillating feature of life but in the Rock that will never pass away. Our legacy in the kingdom is to be built upon the Rock. Winds, rains, floods, and earthquakes will come, but we will not be moved.  We have been planted in the good soil and will bring forth that one hundredfold. Our anchor is sure and steadfast within the veil.
