A Table of Fresh Bread, Fresh Water, Fresh Wine, and Fresh Oil Along an Ordered Path (Part 2)
By
Moses Hightower

You can trust the ordered plan for your life, for the foundation of it is sure and will not change. Many follow after their own hearts that cannot be known. Man's own heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. It cannot be known. A man's heart devises his way, but I direct his steps. Trust in me and you will be blessed, for blessed is the man whose hope is in the Lord. He shall be as a tree planted by the waters and that spreads out her roots by the river. This tree shall not see when heat comes, but her leaf shall be green and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall it cease from yielding fruit.
Do not worry about those who do wrong, for I search the heart. I try the reins. I give to every man according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings. Do not worry about how you have been treated, neither be disturbed by the prosperity that some seem to be enjoying now. As the partridge sits on eggs and does not hatch them, so he that gets riches and not by right shall leave them in the midst of his days and at his end shall be a fool. Continue to walk in the path of righteousness for my name's sake. The way of man is not in himself. It is not in man that walks to direct his steps. Though it appears that you have been eaten up, devoured, consumed, and made desolate, I will bring you out of this pit with riches and a heart filled with light. I will set your feet in a sure place upon a rock where your goings are established. Open your mouth and sing a new song, even praise unto me. Many shall see it and fear and shall trust in your God.
I have no respect for the proud or for those who turn aside to lies. That man is cursed. Blessed is the man that makes me his trust. The path of his feet is a sure path, and all of his ways are established. Delight yourself in me, and I will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way unto me, trust in me, and I shall bring it to pass. Your righteousness shall come forth as the light, and your judgment as the noonday. Wait patiently for me and rest in your Lord. Do not fret yourself because of him who prospers in his own way because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light."
Words of Light upon the Face of Confusion, Defeat, Disorder, Pride, Unfairness, Wickedness, and Worry (Part 2)

RE:RHEMA - A Table of Fresh Bread, Fresh Water, Fresh Wine, and Fresh Oil Along an Ordered Path (Part 2)
Our hearts are capable of being desperately wicked and deceitful above all other things. It is evil to lie to anyone, but if we lie to ourselves, we are deceived and have not begun to believe for the truth. As we allow God to know our hearts and lead us, we will be established and growing as a flourishing garden. God's promises will come to us in his time. We must allow patience to have her perfect work in our lives. God can hasten them in his time, or he can accelerate them to the point of immediacy. As we delight ourselves in the Lord, he will give us the desires of our heart. The things of God and his Spirit are much better than gold, yea than much fine gold. Our exhale of exasperation could have been our expression of excitement in his presence. As we worship him, we win the battle, even though it is not yet actually engaged. Our worship goes before us and consumes the internal dynamic of the enemy so that he is already defeated. Let us continually praise the Lord for his help and deliverance.

There is a mentality in this present hour that has shoved aside the keeping of my commandments. The spirit of sorcery, which works throughout the earth, fosters this mentality. In vain do many worship me, teaching for doctrines that are the commandments of men and not the commandments of God. Search the scriptures. They testify of me, yet in vain I am worshipped by the majority of believers. Go and proclaim the truth about me. I am not worshipped the way man devises his own worship, but I am only worshipped in spirit and in truth. Look unto me, the author and the finisher of your faith. Behold the beauty of my glory shining in the face of my church. Find my church, and you will find me, for I am in the middle of my body. What is my name?
Then what is the name of my body?
What is the name of my church?
If you know these things, then go and proclaim them in the earth.

RE: RHEMA - Priceless Consolation Purchased with the Currency of Suffering
As we invest ourselves in the work of the kingdom, we begin to see the true riches of the kingdom of God. Many wise men and women have said that we never really possess anything until we give it away. Another writer said that grace may appear to be cruel when we are in pain and suffering. Paul wrote to the Philippian church and spoke of knowing him in the fellowship of his suffering. If anyone that walked in flesh knew Jesus in that dimension, Paul must have discovered the entrance into the treasure vaults of suffering. In our flesh, we think that suffering being any kind of blessing is such a contradiction. It is never what we have that matters in life, it is who has us. If he has us and possesses us totally, then we are blessed beyond measure. Three hours at the cross in the darkness was the seat of untold suffering for our Savior. He did this to let us know that even in the most terrible circumstances and darkness that he would be there with us. No currency or method of exchange can put forth the value of a soul. Jesus leaves the ninety-nine and goes into the night for the one that is lost. Moses counted the suffering and reproaches of the children of God greater riches than all of the treasures in Egypt. God will cause us to see and be blessed beyond measure as we behold others as they find the riches of his mercy and grace. Oh, the consolation of the riches of his grace when we behold the joy on the face of others as they are blessed. Those who wait at the altar will be partakers with the altar. As we wait to remove the chains of sinners who come to be free, God will free us from every fear and attack on our confidence in his promises.

I thank you today, dear Lord, for ordering my steps. Though my heart is capable of being desperately wicked and deceitful above all other things, I am relieved that you have given me new, tender mercies each day. I know that it is evil to lie to anyone, but if I lie to myself I am deceived and have not begun to believe the truth. I appreciate your Spirit leading and establishing me as a growing, flourishing garden. I rest assured that your promises will come to me in your time. By your grace, I will allow patience to have her perfect work in my life knowing that you can hasten your promises in your time, or you can accelerate them to the point of immediacy. I delight myself in you, O Lord, with the expectancy of the desires of my heart. What a joy it is to know that the things of your Spirit are much better than gold, yea than much fine gold. Your conviction has shown me that my exhale of exasperation could have been my expression of excitement in your presence. I give you the highest praise, Hallelujah!
As I worship you, I know that I win the battle even though it is not yet actually engaged. I offer praise and worship that goes before me and consumes the internal dynamic of the enemy so that he is already defeated. With a heart of thanksgiving may I continually praise you, Lord, for your help and deliverance. I give you the fruit of my lips today. Thank you Jesus!

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - April 19, 2007
Deceitful vanities are not the lens that we allow to frame our vision. Our eyes have been opened to the goodness of abundant grace. Evil may try to lure us to its tables of pleasure but we have found greater pleasure than any flesh can offer in the presence of the Lord. Our enemy had been defeated at the cross and we will constantly triumph in the praise of the Almighty. We are not captives of the past but we have stepped though the curtains of a new day of mercy each day that we arise to look into the face of our Beloved. His faithful promises will come to pass as sure as the sun rises and sets. His covenant with his children is just as certain as the decree of the heavens. Our praise is the fire that God promised through Ezekiel that would finally turn our enemy to ashes on this earth.
