Settle Down in the Fire of Trial, Be Still, and Know That God Is Your Refuge (Part 2)
By
Moses Hightower

Cease your inquiries as to why the fire of the trial. Do not allow your flesh to create a sorrowful creature of unbelief. Break forth into singing and enlarge the place that you dwell in. Lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes, for you shall break forth on the right hand and on the left hand with souls for my kingdom. The fruit of your sowing is coming up. You shall also reap where you did not sow. You shall not be ashamed neither shall you be confounded. You shall rise up in faith and shall not be put to shame. I am your Maker. I have become your husband. The Lord of hosts is my name. I have redeemed you. I am God. I am called the God of the whole earth.
Do not think of yourself as some pitiful creature without a defense. You have felt like a woman forsaken. You have been grieved in your spirit. For a short space and a small moment have you felt this way, but now with great mercies have I gathered you unto myself to allow my blessings and provisions to abound toward you. With everlasting kindness, I have allowed mercy to come upon you. I am not wroth with you, for I have not chosen you unto wrath but unto eternal salvation. My everlasting kindness shall not depart from you. The covenant of my peace shall not be removed. I am making a beautiful vessel out of you. I am establishing you in righteousness. Do not fear, for I have sent oppression far from you. Terror has been sent away, and it shall not come near you any more. Only believe. Though men gather together against you, they shall not stand with me. Whosoever shall gather together against you shall fall for your sake. They shall be burned in the fire where I have created the smith that blows the coals. They shall become vessels of shame. I shall honor those on your side. Do not fear. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. Only believe.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light."
Words of Light upon the Face of Distress, Destruction, a Fiery Trial, Terror, and Unbelief (Part 2)

RE: RHEMA - Settle Down in the Fire of Trial, Be Still, and Know That God Is Your Refuge (Part 2)
In the Hebrew, the word evil has more meanings than we usually think about. Intense trails in themselves are not evil, but if my attitude becomes one that is distracted or disoriented, then it can open the door for all kinds of doubt and fear. Fiery trials can be in the process of consuming the very thing that would one day arise to destroy me. God know our hearts, and he never allows or disallows anything in our lives that is not part of his purpose for us. In the Hebrew, evil is defined as any of these: grief, hurt, harm, sorrow, misery, trouble, and vexed. We all feel the complete spectrum of these emotions and run the gauntlet that they throw down in our path. The path of the righteous is always toward the Lord. If he taught us to pray, "Deliver us from evil," then he will surely deliver us from every one of these perforating feelings that drain us of our joy and victory. We will then hold up our vessels of praise and worship and constantly pour out an offering of unconditional thanksgiving constantly to the Lord. Our worship will wash our eyes to behold the beauty that will break every yoke and fetter in our lives.

The day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night. Make your calling and election sure. The day of the Lord is not a joke, neither is it a telecast whose script is written by men. Make your calling sure. Make your election sure. You will have profited nothing if you lose your soul while gaining the whole world.

RE: RHEMA - A Friend Named "Well-Doing"
Angels are the stockings of our feet. Miracles are the spiral staircase of the believer. We are not living under the doorsteps of the underprivileged. We are living in the chambers above the holy of holies. We have a great host of witnesses that urge us on with their testimony. Miracles are not spiritual flash cards. God is working while we sleep and even when we drive down the road. Many times the minds of the captives are being loosed from chains by thought processes that transcend our understanding. We are holding the hand of confidence that is his assurance and strength. We look through an enigma. We see in puzzle form the power of the miraculous. God has already put all the pieces together while we are in confusion as we view them in disarray on the table. He can make one sweep and put it together instantly! We will not be weary in "well-doing and well-speaking." We will reap the harvest of promises and revival that God has promised. We can never do well and not have the God who says, "Well done," bring forth his greatness to surround us. We may fight against the forces of darkness, but he has already put every foe under his feet. He did not call us to struggle but to rest. Confidence is the attitude we speak and live in. Confusion and doubt are the dust under our feet. Grace has so abounded to us that we have abounded to every good work.

You say you have no love of the world.
445. Then why are you frustrated by the god of the world's tactics?
446. Don't you know that a little of his leaven will leaven a whole lump?

Lord, I give you thanks, glory, and honor today, for you have not left me in a state of distraction and disorientation. You, my King, have shown me great mercy and have not allowed me to reside in doubt and fear. Though I have been in intense trials, you have kept me from an attitude that would open the door to an evil heart of unbelief. You have honored me by allowing me to experience these fiery trials that will one day consume all of the things that would come to destroy me. I am delighted because now I have gold that has been tried in the fire, and I am rich. You know my heart and you know every evil thing that I have felt on the spectrum of negative emotions. Lord, I give you thanks for delivering me from evil and casting out every evil thing, such as vexation, hurt, sorrow, and grief. I am shouting for joy that I do not have to run the gauntlet of these evil emotions, and I ask that you keep me on the path of righteousness and guide me daily. This planned path is always toward you, and even now I am rejoicing because of your graciousness unto me. You have delivered me from every one of these perforating feelings that have attempted to drain me of joy and victory, and now I can hold up my vessel of praise and pour out an offering of unconditional thanksgiving. I worship you with clear eyes that are able to behold your beauty that breaks every yoke and fetter in my life.

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - April 17, 2007
Vapors of toxic fumes of failure are turned into fragrant victory in our worship and praise. Our world is a potpourri of various mixtures of fragrances. During the manufacture of perfume, we are told that somethings that are crushed and added to sweet and fragrant smells are strong and lasting but may have not a fragrance of its own. Trials may crush and destroy somethings in our lives that do not have a pleasant smell. Yet, these things enhance the sweet fragrance of incense of worship that is to God a sweet smelling savor.
