Hidden At Home in God's Grace from Riddles and Puzzles of the Sword of Embarrassment

By Moses Hightower

Do not allow your human knowledge to rule in your heart and mind. A very subtle enemy has been sent as a spiritual general against you. You are no match for the wiles of this enemy using intuition and experience as the foundation for judgment. If you lean to your own understanding, you will only glimpse the victory you could have experienced. Your own understanding will only foster suspicion that will impress your mind with trees of knowledge. These trees of knowledge that come from the seeds of suspicion will only create forests of unknown and unwanted fruit. Your practical knowledge is insufficient. It will only create a curtain for the enemy to hide behind. Human knowledge cannot make you aware of spiritual things. Lean on me and listen for my voice. I am the author of your being. I am all-wise, all-powerful, and all-knowing. I am the head of this foe. He uses the unknown as a skillful tool to conceal direction and simplicity. Do not allow self-confidence to mask your mind. Do not wear that mask, which leads to a spiritual ambush.

The power of redemption is working on your behalf. I have saved you by grace, and I am keeping you by grace. You must trust me and not lean to your own understanding. Man's own understanding can become a secret place for your enemy to hide. Do not allow your own understanding to become a secret path for a spiritual ambush. I resist the proud and give grace to the humble; therefore, walk through the secured door of humility and you will close off the back stairs of pride.

I am exposing this enemy and leading you around the pitfalls in your path. The enemy may lie in ambush and conceal himself behind the veil of the unknown, but I am your refuge, a sanctuary of peace. I am your last resort. I am your only resort in the war against principalities and powers. These spirits are rulers of the darkness of this world. Make your home in my grace as you enter through the door of humility. My grace is sufficient for you. A diversion has been created. You are not a fugitive; therefore, do not allow suggestions in the spirit realm to lure you into the enemy's loophole. I do not need a loophole. I am God and I am the light. Walk in the light and do not look for a diversion through the unknown. My sheep know and hear my voice. Hear the voice of confidence in God, and do not be sealed inside of trouble through the doors of ignorance. Allow ignorance to be simple backgrounds that you ignore. Leave these backgrounds to me. I understand them. You see through a glass darkly. There is no film over my eyes. Remember, I know all things. The suspense that you feel has not perplexed me. Place your trust in me completely and this enemy will not embarrass you. The sword of embarrassment is drawn. Do not search for its origin or its direction, for that is merely a leap in the dark. Give me your heart, mind, soul, and spirit and do not be entangled by your words. Simply trust in me, for I am faithful.

I have halted the swing of the pendulum that has swung before your face. Do not place your hand to it to stabilize it. You will only increase its swing, for doubt shall unsettle the balance. I have given you the faith to rely on my faithfulness. Faith is not leading you to trust in doubtful meanings and uncertain expressions. I have not sent you riddles and puzzles. I have extended the hand of God to guide you. Follow me as I show you what is on the other side of the unknown. A glass darkly is not your mirror of direction. The way through this ambush is past your comprehension. It is beyond the depth of your knowledge and understanding. The seal of secrecy is known of me; therefore, trust me. The unknown has no secrecy and no privacy in my presence. Hide yourself in my presence. The fullness of joy is your bed. Now rest in me.

Diversions, Embarrassment, Ignorance, Pride, Puzzles, Riddles, Suspicion, and a Subtle Enemy

RE: RHEMA - Hidden At Home in God's Grace from Riddles and Puzzles of the Sword of Embarrassment

Joseph explained in Genesis that the God who does wonders is the one to whom interpretation belongs. Paul told us in the book of Romans that the oracles or the word of God were given to the Jews. They had the covenants and the promises. All these things produced a sense of ownership that fed the pride of the Pharisees and Sadducees. None of us have a copyright on the operation of the Holy Ghost. It all comes down from him. Pride can slip into religious robes and become an assassin lurking in wait for us. As we receive things from God, we must always remind ourselves that we have no ability of our own to produce this. This is why he chooses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. God deserves all the glory, and we must never let our flesh glory in his presence. God would not embarrass us, and if we allow his grace to help us, nothing and no one else will be able to intimidate or embarrass us. Parables and questions may seem to abound, but they are always introspective for us. They allow us to see our inadequacy and the unlimited resource of his greatness. God holds the key to the doors of every secret in the universe. When we walk with him, we will never walk blindly into a snare of the distorted wisdom of the enemy.

The expressions from the princes of spiritual compromise have slain many while they have listened to the voice of false favor and vanity. I have granted you a love for the truth that you may be able to stand and not fall into the hands of deception from the devil, neither into the hands of my accurate delusion that awaits those who do not love the truth. Prepare to give your life for truth. Many have given their lives for lies. Those who give their lives for lies have no mercy waiting to escort them to finished redemption. Those who give themselves for truth shall never lose in the end. If you lose your life for the gospel, you will surely save it.

RE: RHEMA - The Bright Light of the Walls of Salvation

If we have gates of praise, we will have walls of salvation. Praise illuminates the name that is above every other name. Today is more than today. He has made today, but in today is the overflow of yesterday and the coming tide of tomorrow. He is the eternal God, and when he makes a day, there is past, present, and future blessings in it. We can live in the overflowing blessings inside the strong city of habitation that God has provided for us. We are told that gates need to lift up their heads. We are representatives on the gates of the city. We can stand in the door, or we can become a wide open door into the blessing of God for others. We were not sent to hide the light of salvation but to place it on a hill to illuminate the city of grace that has been built by the Lord in this hour. There were cities of refuge in the days of old. Now, there is a city of grace for both refuge and healing for the hurting and broken. As we exalt him, there will be an endless parade of those who have found victory through Jesus Christ.

(Continued)

Have confidence in me and my love for you. Allow the power of justification to spring up in you. It is as a mighty light awaiting you to turn it on by the words of your mouth and your confidence in the blood of Jesus. The word is nigh you, even in your heart and in your mouth, the word of faith that you have heard preached. Hold fast the confession of your faith without wavering. I am faithful who promised. You have not traveled this way before. You have not encountered this problem before.

340. Is anything too hard for me?

Hear the word of the Lord. Hear and run this race with patience, for the just shall live by his faith. Show forth a confident attitude toward me as we journey through this darkness that you perceive. Your confidence in me shall bring the reward of new light for perception, vision, and spiritual reality. I have placed faith inside of you. Now I am placing more faith in your experience.

341. Are you committed to me?

I thank you, O Lord, for granting me more grace, and I purpose not to rely on my own human knowledge or to allow it to rule in my heart and mind. I recognize that a subtle enemy has been sent as a spiritual general against me. I am no match for the wiles of this enemy using intuition and experience as the foundation for judgment. If I lean to my own understanding, I will only glimpse the victory I could have experienced. My own understanding will only foster suspicion that will impress my mind with trees of knowledge. These trees of knowledge that come from the seeds of suspicion will only create forests of unknown and unwanted fruit. I am grateful that you have shown me that practical knowledge is insufficient. It will only create a curtain for the enemy to hide behind. I acknowledge by your grace that human knowledge cannot make me aware of spiritual things. I lean on you, Jesus, and listen for your voice. I rejoice that you are the author of my being, the all-wise, all-powerful, and all-knowing God. You are the head of this foe. The enemy uses the unknown as a skillful tool to conceal direction and simplicity. By grace, l will not allow self-confidence to mask my mind.  I will not wear that mask, which leads to a spiritual ambush.

I give you praise for the power of redemption that is working on my behalf. You have saved me by grace and you are keeping me by grace.  I must trust you and not lean to my own understanding.  I am grateful that you have revealed how my own understanding can become a secret place for my enemy to hide. Your loving-kindness will not allow my own understanding to become a secret path for a spiritual ambush. You resist the proud and give grace to the humble; therefore, by grace I walk through the secured door of humility and will close off the back stairs of pride.

I am grateful and leap for joy, for you are exposing this enemy and leading me around the pitfalls in my path. The enemy may lie in ambush and conceal himself behind the veil of the unknown, but you are my refuge, a sanctuary of peace. You are my only resort in the war against principalities and powers. I will not search for its origin or its direction, for that is merely a leap in the dark. Your love towards me compels me to give you my heart, mind, soul, and spirit. Therefore, I will not be entangled by my words. I simply trust in you, for you are faithful. My soul is at rest, and I have found solace in this knowledge.
You have halted the swing of the pendulum that has swung before my face. I will not place my hand to it to stabilize it.  I will only increase its swing, for doubt shall unsettle the balance.

I am grateful for the faith that you have given me, and now I rely on your faithfulness. Faith is not leading me to trust in doubtful meanings and uncertain expressions. You, O Lord, have not sent me riddles and puzzles. I am delighted that you have extended your hand to guide me. I follow you as you are showing me what is on the other side of the unknown. RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - March 2, 2007

David said that even if a host and war rose against him that he would not fear. He was confident that in the time of trouble the Lord would hide him in the secret of his tabernacle. Trouble here is any word, thought, action or distraction that would try to get our minds off the focus of our faith. The secret of his tabernacle is his presence. In the presence of the Shekinah, everything else fades into oblivion. God's fullness displaces any other entity that would try to reside or enter my mind and spirit. It excludes the forces that would take glory for themselves. In his presence and immersed in his power, we are humbled to the place that all we can do is get on our face and worship him. Ephesians declares that we should be constantly and consistently in the present and be filled with the Spirit of God. If we are filled with his Spirit, that does not leave any place for the enemy. This is the best way to give no place to the devil.
