The Goodness Brought Out by the Grievous Pressures of Oppression

I have not brought you to this point in time to destroy you. I have brought you here that I might be glorified in you. The array of evil that is against you shall be a shadow in this valley. I shall furnish you a table in this wilderness. The mockers shall be made ashamed. The gainsayers shall be silenced. The oppressors shall be driven back and the fierce pursuers shall be stopped. Lift up your voice in praise to your King and be fully assured of a great victory. The enemy has set a trap for you, but I have made a way for you through every snare. Do not be afraid, neither be troubled by his tactics, for the battle is mine. Angels are on your side. They are not double-minded. They are of my mind. I have sent a unified army of angels on this mission with you. My army is trained in warfare; therefore, do not be anxious. Simply be full of trust. The enemy has attempted to impose unjust burdens on you. This harassment has become a big distraction. Give me these burdens and exchange them for my burdens. My yoke is easy and my burden is light. Why have you allowed the enemy to unload his burdens upon you?

I have said, “Come unto me all you that labor and are heavy laden. I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me. I am meek and lowly in heart and you shall find rest for your souls.” The weapons of your warfare are not carnal, but they are mighty through me to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ. Though you suffer in your flesh, do not be distracted by your suffering. Learn obedience by your suffering. Do not allow the things that you suffer to be in vain. Learn from these things. They are mighty instructors; therefore, gain wisdom from the mouth of your suffering. The enemy means these things for bad, but I mean them for good. Now allow the pressure of the oppressor to pour good things into your cup of expectation. There is a blessing in your cup. Though the oppressor sends great atrocious things your way, there is sweetness in the bitterness. I have placed meat in the eater and sweetness in the thing that is against you. Wine is obtained by applying pressure upon grapes. I have used the pressure of the enemy to grant you sweetness. The stamp that was meant for trouble and calamity shall become the emblem of sweetness; therefore, do not regret the grievous and sorrowful pressures that you feel. They shall abound unto goodness in the end.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light."

Words of Light upon the Face of Anxiety, Distraction, Fear, Grief, Harassment, Ignorance, Oppression, and Mockers

RE: RHEMA - The Goodness Brought Out by the Grievous Pressures of Oppression

Vessels on the potter’s wheel only are shaped upward by the hands of pressure. God did not mean for us to be a flat plate of his goodness to be given to others. He intended us to be large containers that would hold large volumes of his blessings to be poured out on others. Very little of God's goodness can be held on a flat plate. Clay that is shaped upward into a large water pot will hold the water that he will turn into the wine of miracles. Oppression is the opening up of our lives so that God can flow out of us and not be just a small holding pool for our feet alone. Many desire the goodness of God in their lives, and we were never intended to can it and hold it. The more the church was persecuted, the more that the revival spread. Job was besieged with so many negative things, but in the end his accusers had the blessing of mercy and forgiveness, and Job's capacity to receive more of God's goodness was expanded. God will never allow oppression to come to us that he does not also increase his blessing and our capacity to receive more at the same time.

I formed you from the womb. I have begotten you again by a lively hope and called you by name. You are mine. Now when you pass through the waters, I will be with you. When you pass through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and the flames will not kindle you. I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. Do not fear, for I am with you. I have created you for my glory. You are called by my name. You are my witnesses. You know me and you believe me. You understand that I am he, and before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me, there is no savior. I am the Lord, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, their King and your King. I have made a way in the sea and a path in the mighty waters, which bring forth the chariot and the horse, the army and the power, the rockets and the bombs. I shall cause all of the artillery of the enemy to fall down and not rise up against you. I shall make the enemy's power against you ineffective and quench his fire of wrath with the water of my word. Remember, I am the God of old. I will do for you what I did in former times. I do a new thing for you. It is springing forth now. You shall know it. It is making a way in this wilderness. It is making rivers in your desert of helplessness. There is no temptation that has taken you but such as is common to you. I am faithful and will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able, but with the temptation also I make a way for you to escape that you may be able to bear it; therefore, rejoice. A way is made for you.

RE: RHEMA - An Articulation of God's Love at the Open Doors of the Day

In the Song of Solomon, the bridegroom came by night and called his bride. She was asleep and did not arrive at the door until he was gone. Our ears and hearts must be finely tuned to the voice of our beloved. His voice will give us sure direction so that we can avoid the devouring and destroying spirits of that lurk around us. God's love is announcing that a new day of miracles is at hand every time that he speaks. His powerful breath is sweeping the horizon of our lives free of doubt and fear.  His embrace and assuring words remove the clouds of threats and lies from our minds.  His suffering and shed blood has made a way for us to come boldly to him. Love has spoken promises that his faithfulness will deliver.  Victory is written across the skies in the brilliant tones of the sunrise of his revelation.

I have hidden you from the pride of man, and I am keeping you secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues. Notice how the strife of tongues works in the war that your nation is involved in. Learn a lesson from the wars and rumors of wars. Division is possible because of the division of tongues. Look at the violence and strife that is prevalent among the people. Mischief and sorrow are in their midst. Wickedness is in their midst. Deceit and guile are always among them and does not depart from them. Men of wrath continue to stir up strife.

Lord, I am so thankful to be a vessel on your potter’s wheel. I know that the pressure I feel on this wheel is by your hands. I know that you did not mean for me to be a flat plate of your goodness that is given to others, but you intend for me to be a large container that would hold large volumes of your blessing to be poured out on others. I offer you praise today because you have shaped me into clay that is shaped upward into a large water pot that will hold the water that you will turn into the wine of miracles. I will trust you in the midst of the oppression that is opening up of my life so that you can flow out of me, and I will not just be just a small holding pool for my feet alone. I am so thankful that you have given me so much of your goodness and mercy that can be poured out and shared. For you never intended for me to can it and hold it for myself. I am so grateful to know that in the midst of persecution you will spread a mighty revival and I get to be a part. I thank you that you will never allow oppression to come to me without also increasing your blessing and my capacity to receive more at the same time.

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - November 24, 2007

Intense heat and pressure turns carbon into diamonds. That which is normally used just to burn in a fire becomes the gemstone of monarchs. God writes with the point of a diamond. In other words, the Lord takes those who have been formed into diamonds by the pressure and heat of trial and writes declarations of power that the devil and no man can erase! Pressure and heat formed the jewels in crowns and scepters. We will be the crown on the head of the King of kings if we are formed by the pressure of trial and persecution.
