Make a Joyful Path for the Lord's Glory as He Gives You Beauty for Your Ashes

By Moses Hightower

The sinners shall come with eyes bathed in tears. Their eyes shall swim in their tears. I shall use their godly sorrow to turn them unto repentance. They shall come unto me with weeping. With supplications will I lead them. I will free them from the spirits that are much stronger than they. I will show forth the power of redemption, lead them in a straight path, and then I will water their souls as a garden is watered. It is my desire afterwards that they sorrow no more. Afterwards, I will cause them to rejoice in the dance, for I will turn their mourning into joy. I will comfort them and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

The ministers of the Lord will have their souls satiated with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with goodness. Refrain the voice of weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work shall be rewarded. There is no need for sorrow, for there is hope in your end. My people have looked at their present circumstances and beheld the sorrow and the grief wrapped up in them. Direct them to look to the end of all these things and behold the beauty of what I am doing. Though I have chastised them, I will turn and have mercy upon them. The way of a transgressor is hard, but the yoke of the Lord is easy. Many are sorrowful because they have transgressed my commandments. Their hour has come to be delivered, and now shall their sorrow be turned unto joy. A woman when she is in travail has sorrow because her hour is come, but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she does not remember the anguish any more because of the joy that a child is born into the world. If the children of God are delivered, then why are so many anguishing?

They have given their joy away, for they have laid their heads on the bosom of other loves, and the enemy has cut off their joy. I have said, “Their hearts shall rejoice and their joy will no man take from them.” Tell them to repent of loving others and other things more than me. Ask for deliverance in my name, and they shall receive it that their joy may be full. Tell them to be of a glad heart. I have overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil. Go and turn the people's heart toward rejoicing in all of their tribulation. Remind them that I am there to comfort them. I will give them beauty for their ashes, the oil of joy for their mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness so that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord. I will be glorified in them; therefore, make a joyful path for my glory.

RE: RHEMA - Make a Joyful Path for the Lord's Glory as He Gives You Beauty for Your Ashes

All his paths drop with fatness, and he crowns our days with his goodness. Every burned out dream and plan can be turned into the miraculous restoration of reality in the presence of the Almighty. God has not called us to drown in the tears that can be our meat day and night but to walk on the waters of worry as we worship him. Nehemiah in his writings stilled the people and said do not mourn or weep for the joy of the Lord is our strength. Sadness and disappointment can be the thieves that steal our joyful expectations of the Lord. The prophet almost gives us a modern day parable as the widow poured the oil into one empty vessel after another. This was so that she could sell the oil and pay the debt so that her sons would not be sold into servitude. She was to live off the rest. We need to take the empty vessels of life all around our lives that we think are void and empty of anything to rejoice about. If we will take the oil of gladness in our house and fill all these empty experiences with joy, it will free us in the liberty of the Holy Ghost and its joy. We will not only have joy for today in everything but much that will run over into the rest of our lives! Jesus Christ takes the burned out shells of lives and makes a beautiful life out of them every day. Parades of prisoners will march out of their dungeons with the proof that ashes do not last, but hallelujahs do!

Arise early and seek me. In the morning of your life, I will greet you with the freshness of my love and its inspiration. The relationship that I fostered has been returned to you. The communion once held in high esteem has been revived in you. The table of fresh bread is prepared for you. Fresh water is poured from on high and light is shining in the paths of righteousness for my name's sake. Receive of my goodness, and rejoice in the presence of redemption. The darkness of the latter times is upon this world. Gross darkness has covered the entire earth. There is only one place that the darkness is prohibited. Seek this place, and you will find the peace granted by the Prince of Peace.

RE: RHEMA - The Voice of God's Unconditional Love upon the Face of a Spiritual Flood

Jordan fled before the Lord, and the Red sea was riveted into two separate seas by his power. Before the face of the Beginning and the Ending's voice, every drop of water of any flood must move to a different place. If the enemy comes in like a flood, God has a bigger displacement power to disperse it and cause us to walk through on dry ground. The raging waters of trouble will be vaporized before the burning passionate love of God for his people. As the sun causes the water to evaporate into rain, so will God evaporate the flood of the enemy by his unconditional love into the showers of blessing on our land. His love will still stand up in the ship of our lives and speak to the wind and waves. His love will bring the peace to the raging atmosphere of life that would try to drown us or swallow us up. God will turn the flood of destruction into the irrigation of supply that will give us a harvest of his blessing in abundance. We should never look at our own resources for supply but at the unlimited resources of his love for the miraculous supply. His goodness will always be ours in the hands of love that holds us in its close embrace.

(Continued)

The kingdom of heaven has come. The God of the kingdom is giving true knowledge of salvation by the remission of sins. The tender mercies of your God brought you the dayspring from on high, and now the light of love is guiding you into the way of peace. Even those who have sat in darkness see this great light. Go and bear witness of this Light, which lights every man that comes into the world. Many are believing though you do not see the multitudes. The condemnation that light is come into the world has blinded the evil and freed those who love light rather than darkness. Everyone that does evil hates this light, but those who do truth, come to the light that their deeds may be manifest that they are wrought in God Almighty. I have not listed your sins.

268. I have asked, “Where are your accusers?”

In your flesh, there is the pride of life. It desires to express itself through you. Do not allow it to express itself, but yield to me by allowing the power of silence and the power of prayer to work for you, and you shall see the great victory that I will manifest. I have not relinquished you to yourself, nor to the will of your enemies. I have invested much in you, and I will protect you from all harm.

269. Who is it that will harm you if you continue to follow that which is good?

Lord, I am grateful for the revelation that sinners will come to you with eyes bathed and swimming in tears. You will use their godly sorrow to turn them unto repentance. They will come unto you with weeping and with supplications, and you will lead them. I thank you for freeing us from the spirits that are much stronger than us. You will show forth the power of redemption and lead us in a straight path, and then you will water our souls as a garden is watered. There is comfort in knowing that it is your desire afterwards that we sorrow no more. I am delighted that you have caused me to rejoice in the dance, for you have turned my mourning into joy.

Your ministers will have their souls satiated with fatness and your people shall be satisfied with goodness. I have refrained from the voice of weeping and my eyes from tears, for I know that my work shall be rewarded. Because of your joy, there is no need for sorrow, for there is hope in my end. Your people have looked at their present circumstances and beheld the sorrow and the grief that wrapped them up. I will direct them to look to the end of all these things, and behold the beauty of what you are doing. Though you have chastised us, you will turn and have mercy upon us. The way of a transgressor is hard, but I am relieved that your yoke is easy. Many are sorrowful because they have transgressed your commandments. Their hour has come to be delivered, and now shall their sorrow be turned unto joy. A woman when she is in travail has sorrow because her hour is come, but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she does not remember the anguish anymore because of the joy that a child is born into the world. I have found solace in your deliverance, and there is no longer a reason for anguish. I purpose to keep the joy that you have bestowed upon me and not resort to laying my head on the bosom of other loves and allow the enemy to cut off my joy. I will not give my joy away.

Lord, I am trusting in your word which states, “Their hearts shall rejoice and their joy will no man take from them.” Thank you for giving us a desire to repent of loving others and other things more than you. My trust in you is already causing me to offer you praise for all those that will repent and ask for deliverance in your name. You are a forgiving and gracious God, and I believe that all who come to you with godly sorrow shall receive it so that their joy may be full. I will tell them to be of a glad heart, for our Savior has overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil. I will go and turn the people's heart toward rejoicing in all of their tribulation. I will remind them that you are here to comfort them. Your love has prompted me to give them beauty for their ashes, the oil of joy for their mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness so that we might be called trees of righteousness and those of your planting. I rejoice in knowing that you will be glorified in us; therefore, I make a joyful path for your glory.

I am overwhelmed by the fact that all of your paths drop with fatness, and you crown my days with your goodness. I am content in the knowledge that every burned out dream and plan can be turned into the miraculous restoration of reality in your presence. I am so thankful that you have not called me to drown in the tears that can be my meat day and night, but I am called to walk on the waters of worry as I worship you. Nehemiah in his writings stilled the people and said not to mourn or weep, for you are our strength. Sadness and disappointment can be the thieves that steal our joyful expectations of you, dear Lord. I am grateful for the example of the prophet almost giving us a modern day parable as the widow poured the oil into one empty vessel after another. This was so that she could sell the oil and pay the debt so that her sons would not be sold into servitude. She was to live off the rest. I appreciate you for revealing unto me the need to take the empty vessels of my life and give you praise. If I will take the oil of gladness in my house and fill all these empty experiences with joy, it will free me in the liberty of the Holy Ghost and its joy. I rejoice, and I know that I will not only have joy for today in everything, but much that will run over into the rest of my life. I worship you because you take the burned out shells of lives and make a beautiful life out of them every day. Parades of prisoners will march out of their dungeons with the proof that ashes do not last, but hallelujahs do! I glorify you, and I rest in your goodness.

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - January 31, 2007

As we rejoice in the Lord, he will turn our sorrow into joy. Winds of sweeping jubilation wash our hearts of the weeping refrains. He fills our mouth with laughter and our hearts with singing. Disappointment and delay are some of the worst thieves of our joy. God's rivers of joy are the potent strength of our lives. Our enemy will do anything to leave us weak and sad. The oil of joy has anointed our heads. Our pastures are filled with the fat things of the blessing of the Lord. We do not have to feast on terror and trepidation. We have a certainty that is written with the pens of rejoicing on the tables of our heart. David said in the midst of his problems that his soul should not be disquieted within him because he would yet rejoice in the Lord. God has declared these days to be days of rejoicing. Refreshing and rest are in the clear waters of rejoicing. Gideon's victory in shouting about the sword of the Lord shows us that the word of God in our mouth and rejoicing in our hearts will turn the empty pitchers of defeat into the platters of power in the lives of the rejoicing.
