SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

OF FAITH

Series 3.2.16 - #47

Words of Light Upon the Face of the Degenerate Voice of Unbelief

February 16, 2005

Jesus has come that I might have life. Abundant life has already been given to me. I will remove it from the shelf of my life and spend it as he directs me. I have subscribed to unbelief long enough. Now I cancel my subscription to this skepticism that arrives daily in my life. I will be careful for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, I will let my requests be made known unto God. The peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. He has given me faith. Now I walk by it. The faith that he has given is empowered by love. I refuse to walk by sight and feelings. The other Gentiles walk in the vanity of their minds, for they have their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them because of the blindness of their heart. Deceitful lust will attempt to empower me through my emotions. I will be renewed in the spirit of my mind and put on the new man, which after God, is created in righteousness and true holiness. I have not learned Christ as a Christ who is empowered by lust and driven by emotions. The just shall live by faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Rhema of God. I shall live by every Rhema that proceeds out of his mouth. He gave me the Rhema of God. Now I will stop living by my feelings and by my sight.

I will not give place to the devil. If I continue to walk by my feelings and by my sight, I will have a mouth filled with corrupt communication. God has called me to speak that which is good to the use of edifying that it may minister grace unto the hearers. I grieve the Holy Spirit by the voice of unbelief that I allow to speak in me. God sanctified my heart and mouth. Now I purpose not to allow this evil speaking to be spoken through sanctified lips. My tongue is the pen of a ready writer. The name I am signing to the document of unbelief that arrived in my life today is mine. I will not sign God's name to this evil report, for he will not sanction the things that come from my evil heart of unbelief. I will depart into yonder desert of destruction if I continue to give consent and approval to the things that unbelief sends into my mind. God has given me precious promises. I will agree with what he has promised and has told me to do. I will not be opposed to his will for my life. I will withdraw my name from the publication and service of the devil. I cancel his periodicals that arrive in my life every day. I am paying precious riches for worthless information that is so plentiful on the airwaves of evil. I choose to tune into faith's voice in this hour where evil has launched major campaigns to increase their number of subscribers to unbelief's publications. By the words of my mouth, I have sent others a subscription to unbelief. I cannot name the name of Christ if I am a peddler of unbelief.

The foundation of God stands sure. Everyone that names the name of Christ departs from iniquity. If I desire to be a vessel of honor, I must speak the things that he has said lest I reserve a place for myself among fools. I purge myself from the inspiration of unbelief and then I will guarantee a position with the vessels of honor, sanctified, meet for God's use, and prepared unto every good work. I cannot endorse faith and unbelief. The tongue is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Out of the same mouth should not precede blessing and cursing. A fountain does not send forth sweet water and bitter at the same place. A fig tree does not bear olive berries. A grape vine does not yield figs, and a fountain cannot yield salt water and fresh water. God placed me on a true vine and planted me as a choice vine. I should be bearing the grapes of faith, not the wild grapes of unbelief. God planted me a noble vine, a right seed. I determine not to turn into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto him. I shall be known by the fruit that I bear. I am a good tree. Now I will bring forth the good fruit of faith. A corrupt tree brings forth the evil fruit of unbelief. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that does not bring forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. Wherefore, by their fruits ye shall know them. Not everyone that saith unto him, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works?" shall enter in. He shall say to many, "I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." I want to hear him say unto me, "Enter in my good and faithful servant," not "Depart from me, ye worker of iniquity."

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
