SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

OF FAITH

Words of Light Upon the Face of Famine

January 31, 2005

I am hidden in the Lord. The terror in the land cannot find me. He has secured me in the bosom of his love. The love that he manifested in saving me works constantly for me in all things. I open my eyes to the love of God today and behold the magnificent demonstration of its power on my behalf. An innumerable entourage of angels has been sent into my presence to guarantee victory for me. His love holds fear far from me. He has given me his love and shed it abroad in my heart; therefore, I do not fear. He that fears is not made perfect in love. Jesus is perfecting me in love. I purpose to continue ministering to the people about his love. They are growing in it. I exercise his patience in dealing with them, and I always remember what I have received from the Lord. Freely I have received, so freely I give what I have received. I did not receive judgment. I received grace and mercy. I will comfort the people with my speech and allow it to be seasoned with salt. I will know how to answer every man if my speech is in grace and seasoned with the salty preservative that God has given.

I look out on the horizon and behold the great multitude coming my way. They are coming for the bread of the morning and the water of the end time. A famine of the hearing of the words of God is already in the land. He has made me rich in the word of God. Now I prepare to feed the multitude. They are hungry and thirsty. Their countenance is made heavy because of the weariness of their journey. God desires to give them a new countenance and strengthen them by his Spirit. I spread a table before them and allow them to eat of the fresh bread that he has given me. They are hungering and thirsting for righteousness. The kingdom of heaven is reserved for them. They are poor in spirit. They are mourning; therefore, I will comfort them. Many are about to perish. He has stayed the hand of death and provided grace for their lives in the time of a spiritual food shortage. The diet of death is plentiful, but the diet of life is scarce. He is sending his people with an abundance of life for the children. The children's bread is given to me. I arise and serve the hungry. I will be blessed for my service.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
