Words
of Light Upon the Face of Philosophies and Traditions

GOD IS THE I AM. GOD IS. I believe that HE IS the same one that
spoke to Moses out of the burning bush. He is the same one that
delivered Daniel's friends out of the fiery furnace. He is the
same one who called Abraham out of his country. He is the same
one who said unto Paul, I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.
He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Nothing is too
hard for the Lord.
I
look unto the Lord, and I am strengthened in my faith. This
trial is not strange to God. He knows the beginning and the
ending. I will trust in him with all my heart and lean not to
my own understanding. God desires for me to understand the principles
of his goodness and mercy. If I understood these principles,
I would do good to everyone that I meet, not simply those I
like. I will do well to my enemies. Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy. I must love his law, and nothing
will, in any wise, offend me. His laws are not grievous. They
are codes that are not ruthless. God placed them within me.
I allow them to restrain my actions and prompt me unto obedience
and love. Honor awaits those who love his law and its principles.
The fundamentals of truth should be a way of life for me. I
will retain my integrity in the worst trials if my doctrine
is the same as God's.
I
come from the platform of my traditions and abide on the platform
of faith. Here on the platform of faith, his righteousness has
become my standing. I am no longer standing in the quicksand
of my own righteousness but on the rock of the church. I am
convicted of the sure word of prophecy, and I refuse the theories
of men. The simplicity that is in Christ has been exalted. Now
I abide by this simplicity, and I will not be corrupted by philosophies
and traditions. I have been declared righteous, and I have power
with God. The works that I perform are not because of my own
righteousness, but they are a result of the Father who dwells
in me. I rise up and glorify my king. I give praise to him,
and I will never falter in the face of the warriors of the darkness.
Jesus
satisfied his justice by sending forth his love into the world.
Justice is now on my side as a satisfied force for my good.
Justice is upholding all things for me in a fair and decent
perspective of righteousness. Justice is now rewarding me with
the things that God's love always wanted me to have. Justice
has stayed the hands of punishment and rewarded me with the
gift of life. A recompense of good is mine. It has been placed
in my bosom. Now I rejoice, for the judge of the entire earth
will do right toward me. Jesus is the good magistrate of grace.
His grace has abounded toward me. He has not given me grace
and retracted it while it was yet in my mouth. I taste and see
that God is good always.

Hebrews
10:22 - 23
Let
us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let
us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
(for he is faithful that promised;)
Ephesians
2:8-9
For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
