SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

OF FAITH

Words of Light Upon the Face of Wasting Time

January 22, 2005

God has brought me to the forefront of a battle for the souls of this area. He is seeking to save those who are lost. I labor with him as he adds to his body daily such as should be saved. He has not called me to wander aimlessly. I know his purpose. He has not changed. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. I will not lean to my own understanding, for that is fruitless. God has made me to lie down in a green pasture. This desert is blossoming as a rose. He has supplied fresh water and living bread in a dry place. I will go and preach the gospel. The spirit of the gospel is drawing many souls to his name. The diet of the King is prepared for them. Now I will go and bring them to his hand.

I have wasted much valuable time, and I have allowed myself to be hindered by men. I choose not to entangle myself with their yokes again. God has made me free. I will go call sinners to repentance. The Lord has not come to call the righteous to repentance. They that are whole do not need a physician, but those who are sick need the Great Physician. God sends me among wolves; therefore, I will be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. When I go, I will not sound a trumpet, but I will go in humility and quietness. I will go to the sick, the diseased, the dead, the demon possessed, and the blind. God will heal them. I will not worry about my needs. God will supply all my needs according to his riches in glory. In glory, there are no insufficiencies, neither are there any insufficiencies in his kingdom.

Jesus has bruised Satan under my feet; therefore, I do not worry about devils, principalities, and powers. My mouth is filled with God's word. I will go in the attitude of a child, and my head will not fill the platters of my enemies. I am not desirous of vain glory. Some are planting, some are watering, but God gives the increase. The will of the Lord is being done in my life. I purpose not to be a fool but to be wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil.

God has given me much. There is an abundance of his word hidden in my heart. I will not sin against him, for his word is hidden in me to prevent me from the sins that snare many. The testament of the Lord is in my heart. The spirit of wisdom and of revelation is working in me. I will follow the divine direction of the Spirit. Grace has touched me. I allow my speech to always be with grace, seasoned with salt, and I will know how to answer every man. Grace has empowered me with ability, power, and sufficiency to accomplish the mission authorized by God. By grace, I am saved through faith and that not of myself. The gift of God is working exceedingly great. There is no reason for boasting; therefore, I humble myself under his mighty hand. He will exalt me in due time. He has sent me with the bread of the children. I eat the bread from the Master's table and feed his sheep the bread of life.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
