Words
of Light Upon the Face of Fleshly Appetites and Passions

God has not come to bring me the guilt that has been laid at
my feet. Many of his people have been defiled by guilt. I will
not maintain purity if I do not discern between conviction and
condemnation. I will not allow the spirit of conviction to be
misinterpreted as a guilty verdict. Because God sent forth conviction,
does not mean that he sent forth the sentence of condemnation.
I rise up and walk in the spirit, for there is no condemnation
to those who walk in the spirit. Condemnation is a filthy spirit.
It will defile me and corrupt my purity. I hear God's word,
and I believe on the Father. I have everlasting life, and I
shall not come into condemnation. I have passed from death unto
life. I believe this.
The
gift of righteousness reigns by Jesus Christ. By Adam's offense,
death reigned, but much more, I have received the abundance
of grace. There is enough grace to keep me free from guilt;
therefore, I rise up, and walk in the liberty of the Spirit.
I have received justification of life. I was not justified because
of anything I have done; therefore, I purpose to not be proud,
and I will not fall into the condemnation of the devil. I should
be humbled and filled with praise because of justification.
I will bestow honor upon Jesus, the King of kings, by my worship.
I should give supreme respect and reverence to my God. When
the people have learned to be extravagant in their love for
him, they will experience great victories over their enemies.
When they have learned extreme submission to him, they will
experience great peace, and their many wars against evil spirits
will cease.
In
many cultures, the kissing of one's hand is a way of expressing
adoration. I kiss God's hand with praises today. Now my love
will be accepted as love given with deep affection and respect.
I renounce all of my acts of pretensions to worship him. I will
deny my flesh its allegiance to corruption and refuse to enter
into a war with it. God will be gratified with my actions when
I refuse the taste and the appetite of my flesh. Many spend
much of their time gratifying their flesh. I will teach the
people to renounce these gratifications. I remember that a passion
has an object. Occasionally, I have allowed some appetites to
develop before the passion was directed to an object; however,
when I have longed for God and panteth after him as the heart
panteth after the water brooks, my soul will be satisfied.
Blessed
are those who do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for
they shall be filled. I will come before the Lord with the voice
of joy and praise, and my soul will never be cast down. He has
commanded his lovingkindness in the daytime. In the night, his
songs are with me; therefore, I will let my prayers come unto
him, the God of my life. The enemy shall not oppress me. Jesus
is my God and my rock. I hope in him continually. He is the
health of my countenance. He is my altar. I worship God in spirit
and in truth. I approach his throne boldly with my petitions,
and he will fulfill them.
My
devotion is proof of my affection toward the Lord. I magnify
and honor him continually. My admiration of him will stand in
the presence of vicious attacks by the enemy. God justified
me. Those that he justified, he also glorified. Whosoever offers
him praise, glorifies God. I will let my praises be an oblation
and a sacrifice to him. They will lead me into a victorious
battle. God has come for the first-fruits of my strength; therefore,
I will give them to him and receive new strength for my day.
I allow the sacrifice of praise to come up before the presence
of the Lord, and he will receive them as a sweet savor of incense.

Hebrews
10:22 - 23
Let
us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let
us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
(for he is faithful that promised;)
Ephesians
2:8-9
For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
