Persecution Is the Badge of God’s Acceptance; Therefore, Do Not Be Distracted by It

I have never forsaken you; neither will I ever forsake you. You have received my word in the past of this promise. I am reminding you again of my faithfulness to you. Never doubt the voice that speaks to you. If doubt can gain an entrance in your life in regard to your relationship with me, then there will not be a foundation for trust in the voice of the Lord that speaks to you. Many great men have fallen because they did not understand this principle. They began to doubt their experience and began to lean to their own understanding. Do not go from the voice of the Lord because of persecution and other views on how you should minister. Persecution is your badge of acceptance by me. I have promised houses and land, with persecution; therefore, persecution comes with the territory that I have given you.

Do not fear. The devil is on a leash. Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known unto me and the peace of God, which passes all understanding shall keep your heart and mind by Christ Jesus, your Lord. I made today for you to rejoice in. Do not allow regret, sorrow, and distrust to rule your day. I have placed all these things beneath your feet. Dance on these feelings and intimidating expressions that come out of the darkness. Do you have more confidence in what the devil plans on doing to you than you have in the Living God and what he will do for you?

Examine your faith again, and do not be detoured from following me, the Living God. There is work to be accomplished. The devil’s plans are distractions that lead away from my purpose. Do not fear. I am the head of the devil and all things are under my feet. Fear has been cast out. Why fear a foe that is on the outside looking in?

The devil and his entire host are cast out. Who allowed them back on the inside?

I am restoring the trust that had begun to erode in you. Have faith in the revived trust that I have given you. Only believe.

DISTRACTION, DOUBT, FEAR, INTIMIDATING EXPRESSIONS, AND REJECTION

RE: RHEMA - Persecution Is the Badge of God's Acceptance; Therefore, Do Not Be Distracted by It

Happy are we when we are persecuted for righteousness sake. We know that when others come against us, we are just like Jesus. Persecution will always be part of the life of a believer. We are living counter to this culture as believers and this exposes the darkness of their hearts. Since they do not like to be exposed as frauds, they will lash out at the source of the light that exposes their darkness. Our peace is in knowing that God will not leave us at the mercy of these attacks. He will be there in the hottest fire just as he was for the Hebrew children that were thrown in the fiery furnace. We should look for it and be glad that we were counted worthy to suffer reproach for him. Persecution is the part of the meal for those who live godly. Our eyes should never be turned aside to the distractions of even a howling mob. We are headed for the destiny that God has purposed for us. Every time that we worship and praise God in the midst of persecution the enemy is crushed by the fact that his purpose has been defeated. Our enemy's persecution will not be a stumbling stone but a stepping stone into the next level of power in the kingdom of God.

Beware lest you sell the truth for empty rewards and the praises of man. You have taken up your spiritual weapons by the hands of trust. Now continue to trust in me that the weapons of your warfare may be swung with accuracy and confidence and not stilled by doubt and fear. In the hearts of those who have allowed love to abide, there is peace in the face of judgment by the courts of the enemy. In the hearts of those who truly believe, life is not viewed by eyes that seek to save their lives.

RE: RHEMA - The Power of Mercy In the Face of Unrelenting Pressure

Mercy seats are always the best seats in the house. Since the mercy seat is a figure of God's throne, it is also the greatest seat of power. If we sit, let it not be in judgment but in mercy. Mercy will bring to us more windows of opportunity than the judgment of others. In the prison at the Livingston unit where death row is, one of our ministers began to threaten the chaplain, and they removed him from the unit. We have had a growing group of apostolic men on that unit. I have been contacted over and over again in the last two months for someone to come. We prayed, and God put a new chaplain that I had been friends with on another unit. He has already set up a baptism service for the truth and preaching time as well! This did not happen by condemning the chaplain. God spoke to me earlier about this year in the prison. You must speak to them by revelation and not by condemnation. You do not know where I have led them from and how I have spoken to them that they will never admit to any of their own friends or family. I am leading many out of darkness. It is difficult for men to turn loose of error when they have believed it was truth for years. What would you do if someone began to ridicule the truth that you were convinced was light?

I am the truth. Let me embrace them with my love and they will embrace you. Point them to my throne of mercy and not a seat before the court of your thoughts. I am convinced that there would not have been any opportunity to minister to one in that unit if God had not worked in mercy.

Every closed door and hurt will be overturned by the hands of mercy. Every wounded spirit cries for the balm of grace and the oils of mercy to be applied by gentle spirits and tender hearts. As we dedicate ourselves to the ministry of the cross, mercy will testify of the only true God. Worship and commitment to him will exclude all the false images of jealousy that we are capable of hiding in the high places of our hearts. We play right into the hands of the accuser of the brethren when we cannot worship in the presence of mercy. We can fill the windows of opportunity of mercy with shades of unresolved issues of the past and the untenable problems of the present. We must determine to remove the shades and coverings of the windows of new dimensions so that we are able to respond to the light and opening that has come out of the shadows. Complacency and no commitment will cause us to ignore the venues of opportunity that God will open to us daily.

We are surrounded by many things that would sweep us away and entangle us in our own emotions and personal agendas. We must shred and burn any personal lists that we have and ask God for a fresh sheet with daily revaluation to work in this hour when mercy will do a quick work. Many pitfalls and traps of selfishness are along the path, but his directives will instruct us clearly how to avoid the entanglement of the enemy. He will make our feet like hind's feet and put them on our dancing places of victory because mercy has already designed the victory. We must not be ignorant of the false love that will attack us in this hour. We can let it become introverted and destroy us, or we can be overwhelming in our response and view the grand vistas of power through the windows of mercy and doors of grace. We have been given doors of utterance to walk through in this hour. We will do well to walk through them anointed by mercy and shouting life instead of death

(Continued)

The devil and his entire host are cast out.

40. Who allowed them back on the inside?

Misunderstanding shouts from without. When misunderstanding begins to speak through you, you are in spiritual trouble. Misunderstanding is in the darkness. Understanding is in the light.

41. If you are light, then how is the bitter water of misunderstanding flowing out of you?
