Arise from the Altar of Distraction and Seize the Hands Reaching for the Bread of the Evening Time

By Moses Hightower

Do not be weary in well doing. Due season has come. Arise and gather the fruit of your labor. You are reaping where you did not sow. The fruit is overflowing. Gather into your barns of faith this precious fruit. Move quickly and with love, for the fruit is bruised. Some of the fruit has been handled with careless hands and in deceitful ways. I have promised shepherds that shall feed them. I will take away their fears, and they shall not be lacking. I have called you to be a shepherd of comfort. Many have been scattered and driven away from the fold. I am gathering those who are mine for the harvest. I have promised pastors according to my own heart that will feed them with knowledge and understanding. Behold the quick work before your face. I am doing a wonder in your midst. The wonder of the work that I am doing shall astonish you. No flesh shall glory in my presence. The work that is being manifested is authored by love.

Who compelled me to come into the world as the Son of man?

Who fasted to persuade me to come?

Who prayed long enough to convince me that it was my time to come into the world?

Abandon your ridiculous concepts of me.  Abandon your ideas about what you think about my reasons for doing what I do, for they have bound you up in mental wards of spiritual insanity. No one has persuaded me to do anything.  In the fullness of time I came, and in the fullness of time, I am acting in your life according to my divine design and plan for your life and the ministry ordained by me. I am reaching into your life to pluck up all the roots of self-righteousness and religious pride.  Relinquish your grip on these things, for you have held to things that you thought were of me but were of men. The crowd is not evidence that it was ordained and ordered of me. Do not worship any longer at the altar of spiritual insanity, which is the shrine of distraction. Destroy the altar of distraction. While you have worshipped before this idol, precious souls have come and gone. Arise from the altar of distraction and seize the hands reaching for the bread of the evening time. I have given you the bread of the morning and the bread of the evening.  I have made you a rich heir of the children's bread. Open up the factory in your heart. It is an assembly plant for precious food. I am making tabernacles of bread; therefore, open your mouth and publish the word of my wondrous works with the voice of thanksgiving.

The redeemed of the Lord are houses of bread and places of praise. Open your mouth wide and publish your love for my house. I have placed my honor on these houses. These houses are the temples of praise.  Speak of my power and my glory in my temple, which is your body.  Stand in the house of the Lord and minister in my courts.  Offer acceptable praise, for I am good. My name is a pleasant name. Behold the work of the Spirit for my name's sake. Fresh streams of water are flowing through your midst. The overflowing love of your God has been poured out in the face of failure, condemnation, and discouragement. I have sent a fresh expression of love in the face of fear. I have blown away the threats of destruction and manifested my glory in tabernacles of praise. Set these tabernacles on the hills of faith and remove the bushels of carnality from your heads. My people are candlesticks of praise unto my name.  Go forth and let your light so shine among men that they may see the good works that I am doing in you. Open your mouths wide and speak the words of the Father in you and cease speaking the assumptions and theories of men. There is a word in this due season of life. If you have ears, then hear the word of the Lord.

Assumptions, Carnality, Condemnation, Destruction, Discouragement, Distraction, Failure, Religious Pride, and Self-righteousness

RE: RHEMA - Arise from the Altar of Distraction and Seize the Hands Reaching for the Bread of the Evening Time

Satan's favorite tactic is distraction.  Elijah got his eyes on his own rejection and failed to realize that there were many who had not bowed to false gods. If we are busy praying for ourselves and fighting our own struggles, then those who have no strength or word of hope have no one to reach or speak to them. Harvest is the place of focus. Our Lord said look on the fields and not on our own frailties and failures.  Many things that come to us in trials and tests that are painful are really just to point us to those who are suffering deep hurt without any hope at all.  If we only use our candles to light our darkness, then how great is the darkness that God intended for us to light that is filled with death and destruction with no deliverer? We must yank ourselves away from spending so much time fighting for things that God has already promised that he would defeat for us, including the battle for the souls of others.

Do not deceive yourself and say that you have no sin, but be honest, and you will not miss the grace that looks for you in this very hour. You can do nothing of yourself, but through me you can do all things.  Do all things by grace and then you will not falter and stumble over your own efforts and failures. Do all things by grace, then will you seek to please me and not seek the gratification of your flesh and self. I have touched you with my mighty grace.  Now stretch forth your hands and touch the scepter of righteousness.  I have beckoned you to come into the throne room; therefore, receive of mercy and grace. It is enough for every dilemma and all circumstances. Look beyond your circumstances and behold the victory now and at the end of the circumstances.

RE: RHEMA - The Obliteration of Disorder by the Day Star

Entropy is the measure of the disorder in the universe.  We have not been assigned to the black holes of imploding galaxies.  Light is coming down from the Father of lights who does not have any variableness or shadow of turning. The bright and morning star has pulled us with the gravity of creation and not of destruction. It is said to be impossible to escape the crushing anti-gravity of entropy, but now they have proven that light can escape it and that it literally becomes a producer of light on the other side. Could it be that disorder is deity disrobing destruction in the closet of creation that we have mislabeled by lack of understanding? If God makes the wrath of men to praise him, then he can change the mirrors and lenses of grace and turn the images of distortion into details of delight. Light can refract and diffuse the colors of sadness into the brilliant colors of gladness. God has dressed us for the wedding and not the funeral.  Peace of mind is walking the path of the light of heaven that shines into endless day.  Morning has broken the curse of the darkness, and we are free to rejoice.

(Continued)

I am teaching you about the design and architecture of misunderstandings and mysteries. Their branches and flowers are unusual and secretive. These branches and flowers spring forth as mistakes and errors. They are like a giant maze many times. Their solutions are not obvious, for their design is to manifest a puzzle that draws their subject into the chambers of confusion. You have looked at their flowers, but I have seen their roots and their flowers.  Allow me to show you the roots of these things and behold the simplicity of misunderstandings and mysteries. I saw the beginning of these trials. I know their origin, and I know their ending.

368.    Am I worried about these unusual manifestations before you?

369.    Do you seek to understand the nature of your problems, or do you seek to know the God of answers?

370.    Is anything impossible for me?

371.    If I am for you, what can be against you?

Lord, thank you for pulling the covers off of Satan and revealing that distraction is his favorite tactic. I am grateful for the foreknowledge given in your word that says we are not ignorant of his devices.  By your grace, I will not allow rejection and my own struggles to prevent me from praying for my neighbor and speaking a word in due season that will reach for those who are without strength. I thank you for renewing me in the spirit of my mind and causing me to focus on the harvest of souls rather than the harvest of my own failures and frailties. What a joy it is to know that my trials and tests serve a greater purpose than that of self. Because of your love and divine wisdom, you are able to use the pains that I suffer in my trials to point me to those who are without any hope at all. I give you praise today, for you are causing me to use my candle to illuminate the darkness not only around me but also around those who are without a deliverer and being stalked by death and destruction. Thank you for yanking me away from my selfish quest for victory and causing me to see the greater battle for the lost. Hallelujah!

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - March 16, 2007

Souls and their eternal destiny are our paramount focus.  We must cease to focus on our own frailty and failure as the fruit of the harvest falls to the ground.  He, who is Lord of the harvest will give the increase and send his angels to separate the good from the bad.  We must become the dragnet of spiritual worship and praise that points the lost to the paradise that hell said does not exist.  We need to ask God to not let us drown in the pools of self pity, but to let us dive into the depths of the love of divinity that reaches to those who have been destroyed by sin's delinquency. The harvest of souls is on the horizon. Our myopic vision will cause us to be lost on the selfish mist of our own desires.  The sun of grace has risen on the day of harvest in the fields of grace.  Our thoughts and our ways cripple us when we would run to and try to embrace the lost. Let love liberate us from the caverns of our own concerns. Jonah could not see the sweeping revival, because he was blinded by his own sunburn. We must cease to worship and give attention to distractions.  We will worship only in the house of the certainty of God's unselfish sacrifice for humanity. We will boldly declare his greatness in the house that is the house of prayer and worship.  It is a house of healing for the hurting and the lost.  As we illuminate the house of his passion for the lost and ravaged by sin, they will find rest in his everlasting arms.
