The Sword of the Spirit, Which Is the Word of God, for Discouraging Spirits Speaking in Your Ears

I have not hidden myself from your supplication. I have been attentive to your voice; therefore, do not be pained within yourself. The enemy is at war against you. If you open yourself up to these assumptions that I am not listening to you, then he will bring the terrors of death upon you. I have come to dispel this notion quickly. Many become overwhelmed by the storms and tempest in their lives because of this kind of thinking. Remember, the weapons of your warfare are not carnal. They are mighty through me to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to my obedience. Instead of being ready to believe the lies of the devil spoken in your ears, have a readiness to revenge all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. You are allowing the words that have been given to you to slip from your heart. You have received an abundance of prophecies. Do not allow these things that you have heard to slip. Give a more earnest heed to all these things that are spoken in your ears, for this is the Rhema of God. How are you going to escape if you are neglecting these things?

Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of my mouth. These things come by the same gift that the Logos of God came by. I have confirmed the Rhema of God to you with signs, wonders, divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to my own will. Look and behold Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor that he by the grace of God should taste death for everyone of you. Do not take your eyes off what he has accomplished for you, for it is by him that you and many sons are brought unto glory. You are one with him. He is your head, and you are a part of his body. He is not ashamed to call you brother. He destroyed the one that had the power of death, that is, the devil. He delivered all who through the fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. He was made like unto you that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things that pertain unto the spirit to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. He is able to succor you during this time of temptation to doubt and to fear. Behold Jesus, the author and the finisher of your faith today, yesterday, and forever.

An abundance of prophecies have been delivered into your hands. Do not simply allow them to dwell in your hands, but hide them in your heart. They have gone before you. Now take them and by them war a good warfare while you are holding faith and a good conscience. Many are shipwrecked because they have despised prophesying. To speak against true prophecy is to speak against my word and I, for I have said, “Do not despise prophesying.” You are not forsaking the Bible by believing in the Rhema word of God, for you know that the Rhema of God proceeds from that which is forever settled in heaven. Men may tamper with Bibles, but it is impossible to tamper with the word that is forever settled in heaven. I have spoken these words in your ears. Now take them, the sword of the Spirit, and swing it with the lips of grace and a heart filled with love. Do not falter in the presence of these voices speaking in your presence, but take unto yourself the Rhema word of God. Submit yourself totally unto me and swing it with the might of the Spirit, then the devil shall flee from you.

In 1 Timothy chapter one and verse eighteen, Timothy was told by Paul that he should war a good warfare with the prophecies that had gone on before him. God has given us the mighty sword of Rhema that we utter in a prophetic mode. In the earth, it is the most powerful dimension of the operation of the Spirit that is working in the church. Many spirits will try to rise and scream out objections and scorn. God has documented to us over and again the exactness and precision that has been involved in one prophecy after another that has been fulfilled. Our mission is to be deaf to the naysayers. We do not know the names of the ten spies that came back with an evil report of the promised land. Who cares what their names were? Joshua and Caleb became part of the household of faith and their names were added because they spoke with confidence that taking the land would be like eating meat. Caleb himself claimed the biggest mountain with the worst giants and God gave it to him with great victory. We will not hold negotiations with the spirits that disagree, but we will fellowship with those who repeat the confession of the original Voice.

RE: RHEMA - There Is a Secret Place in the Bosom of Loving-Kindness and Tender Mercy

Priests and the bride of Christ are said to be in the secret place of the stairs. The secret place of the stairs in the temple is the chamber above the mercy seat that a spiral staircase led to. God said that he would speak to us from above the mercy seat. Above the place of blood and pardon is the relationship that God intended for man in the garden. Sweet is the communion of the pure presence of love in the absence of fear. Mercy sought for us like a sunrise looking for a morning. Our lives had been shrouded with darkness of hate and rejection for a long time. God pulled back the curtains of the dark room of condemnation and let the light of mercy fill our minds. We leaped into the air as loads of dread rolled from our backs. We are not in the hunt with the rest of the pack of daily dogs. We have been called away to the shepherd's tents. Wild animals of the night will not be able to find even our scent because he has turned our thanksgiving into the smoke of the fires of rejoicing that will burn in their nostrils. God has given us rooms of peace and beds of delight. Coverlets of strength are on the mattress of love and mercy. God has posted the guards of angels of the mercy seat as he did on the Ark of the Covenant. Those who would rob us of joy and steal our inheritance will never be able to break into and enter the chambers of those who live in the secrets of his love. God will reveal the power of the arm of his grace in the chambers of mercy. None will disturb the love that is ours as he embraces us with his strength in a place beyond the reach of the realms of this world.

They are mighty through you to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against your knowledge, and bringing into captivity every thought to your obedience. Instead of me being ready to believe the lies of the devil spoken in my ears, by grace, I will have in a readiness to revenge all disobedience when my obedience is fulfilled.

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - February 7, 2007

He that watches Israel does not sleep, but his ear is always open to our cry. Even if I have prayed and have not seen the sign of the answer, I have the evidence of faith that God has never changed and that he will grant the petitions that I have desired of him. With the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit, there is no lie of Satan that can establish a stronghold in our lives. Storms of doubt and fear cannot obscure the vision of our faithful provider that has come to us in the Rhema word. Not only do we defend ourselves with the prophecies that have been given to us, but we become proactive and creative with an abundance of the word that has been spoken to us. Now we can worship and praise in each line of these paragraphs of power. In the beginning on the morning of creation, all the lies of hell said, "It will never happen!" God said, "Let there be and there was!" Jesus Christ is the same now as he was then. His faithful word creates everything. His word cannot be changed or deterred. We do not have ears to hear the negative suggestions of the devil. We are listening for the voice of the Yes and Amen!
