The Voice of Promise Is the Voice of Confidence

By Moses Hightower

The voice of confidence and power speaks unto you. I am the voice of the Lord. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God. I am the same, yesterday, today, and forever. I am the Lord, and I do not change. I am the miracle worker for the children of Israel. I have not changed. I am preparing tables in the wilderness of the last days. I am supplying water out of rocks. I AM THAT I AM. I am your confidence. Rely on me and not on what you think about me. You do not know me well enough to base your faith in your knowledge of me. Cast your confidence totally on me. He who comes to me must first believe that I am and that I am the rewarder of those who diligently seek me. I have said, “I will withhold no good thing from those who walk uprightly.” Walk in the righteousness of faith and not in the unrighteousness of faith in your own faith. Behold the uprightness of the walk of the Lamb of God. Behold his completed work as the sacrificial Lamb. Did he complete his work in the earth?

Then struggle no longer with your emotions that run to and fro before my throne in an attempt to impress me. I am not impressed by anything that you do, except to believe. Have faith in me. You have asked for a miracle. Now do you trust me to give you a miracle?

You have searched your life for qualifications. You have searched for reasons to be blessed in such a magnitude. Ten dollars and ten million dollars are the same to me. I have come looking for faith in you. I gave you the measure of faith. Now where is it?

Do not be intimidated by the size of the miracle that you need. You are using comparative reasoning to determine if I will perform the miracle for you. Do not use this erroneous concept of faith in my presence, for I am not a respecter of persons, neither am I a liar. You are a liar, but I am true. Do not allow the size of your need to reduce you to a beggar before my throne, but rise up in the stature of faith and express your need as a son who has been made a joint-heir to all that I have. I own everything. I am the head of all principality and power. Now speak my name while you humble yourself unto the authority of my word and my promises. I am true. Ask and you shall receive. You have never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging for bread or money. I have invited you to come boldly unto my throne of grace that you may obtain mercy and find grace to help you in the time of need. I desire to give you the miracle more than you desire it. I foreknew you, called you, and justified you. If I am for you, then who can be against you?

I did not spare my own Son. I delivered him up for all of you. Who will persuade me to not give you all things with the Son that I offered?

An enemy has accused you. You are among the elect of God. Who shall lay anything to your charge?

I am the one who justifies. Who is he that will condemn you?

Look to the one who is making intercession for you. He died for you and is raised again. Now only believe that love is on your side and that nothing can separate you from the love of Christ. The Holy Ghost that is freely given to you sheds it abroad in your heart. What value do you place on the Holy Ghost that resides in your body?

Then is there anything that I will not give unto you?

Only believe.

RE: RHEMA - The Voice of Promise Is the Voice of Confidence

God uses the same voice to speak to us that he used to create the world. His promises are immutable. We reel to and fro on the ship of our thoughts and emotions in a time of adversity and no sign of an answer. He is always on board the ship, walking the waves to show that he is not just teasing us with a tantalizing offer but proving that he fulfills all of his word. Ephesians 3:12 declares that we have boldness and access with confidence by his faith. By his faith is the correct translation at the end of this verse. This agrees with Galatians 2:20 that in the life, the battle, the struggle, and the questions that we wrestle with, we live by the faith of the Son of God who loved us and gave himself for us. Faith is a gift of the Spirit and a fruit of the Spirit. It is then a result of his power and Spirit dwelling in us. If our faith is not operative, then we need to plug into the power that works through the love that is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. In James, we see that a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. Double-minded, if translated properly, means of two spirits. We have not, or should not have, the spirit of this world but that which is of God. Therefore, we should know the things that are freely given to us of God. Waver is a major word in the book of James. Waver means to hold court in our mind and make God prove every one of his promises all over again. We will not hold any hearings on this in our minds. We are convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that nothing shall separate us from the love of God.

Avoid the temptations that come with enticing persuasions to draw you into a trust in the flesh. I have not prevented you from receiving the promises given you. In due time, the fulfillment shall manifest itself. The tempter has come to seduce you to lean on the arm of flesh. Beware of the hands near you, which shall become the hands of offerings from the flesh. You must be fully persuaded, lest your love for the owner of these hands become the persuasion that convinces you to trust in the flesh. Many have brought upon themselves great sorrow because of their intimacy with the offerings of the flesh. The offspring of these relationships hinder revival in the lives of many even now. The offspring of these intimacies with the works of the flesh are against you at this very moment. Unless you cast out these offspring of the works of your flesh, you shall be bound by their contempt. Remember, the new covenant that I have made with you, and cease your continual war with these offspring. Cast them out and continue your walk of faith. Know of a truth that the power of your baptism has assured you of the benefits of the covenant. You are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh as you were buried with me in baptism.

RE: RHEMA - The Contention of Grace with Our Adversaries

Our enemy is God's enemy. He will contend with those who contend with us. If he is full of grace and truth, then the sword of truth that grace uses will destroy the attackers of those who are the children of grace. He will not only bruise Satan under our feet, but grace will expose the lies of our accuser to his face. Confusion and distraction are the twins of a spiritual gridlock. Grace will thrust us into the fast lane of the road of victory that God has prepared for us. Deception will try to keep us locked in the toll lane of entanglement. God has always declared that the battle is his. If we are determined to do battle our way, then we are stealing what belongs to him. If we lean on the flesh, then we become spiritual Sauls that are always being defeated by our lack of seeing ourselves as we are. Grace will cause us to see ourselves as we are and to behold the Lord as the source of every victory that we will ever experience. If we involve our own efforts, we will be wrestling with our own weapons instead of principalities and powers. The same power of grace that has saved us will defeat the impossible armies that surround us. God will ride in his chariot of grace over the attack of every foe.

(Continued)

I bore the iniquities of all, and by my knowledge, I justified many. I poured out my soul unto death and was numbered with the transgressors. I bore the sins of many and made intercession for the transgressors. I was bruised in a pleasurable manner. Now lift up your heads from your grief and despair. I have allowed you to be bruised in trials; therefore, come and become acquainted with these things with your heads lifted up instead of heads which hang down. I have brought righteous judgment to the Gentiles. I have spared the bruised reeds and the smoking flax. Behold the judgment that has presented you with the truth. I created the heavens. I stretched them out and spread forth the earth.

280. I am the creator, and am I not able to grant you all things?

Walk in the light of love, and you will not fulfill the fears planned by seducing spirits. I have overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil; therefore, do not be moved from the hope in you. I am the light of the world, and you do not walk in the darkness of unbelief. You walk in the light of love and faith. Come into this mighty river before you. These waters are waters to swim in. These waters are alive. Their flow is pure and right. Come and be washed again in the love of God.

281. Why don't you trust the relationship that I have fostered?

Lord, I praise you for your voice of confidence and power that speaks unto me. In the beginning was your Word, and you were the Word. I rejoice because you are the same, yesterday, today, and forever. You are the Lord, and you do not change. I am delighted because you are the miracle worker for the children of Israel, and you have not changed. You are preparing tables in the wilderness of the last days. My soul is satisfied to know that you are still supplying water out of rocks. You are the I AM. You are my confidence, and I rely on you and not on what I think about you. I will cast my confidence totally on you, for whoever comes to you must first believe that you are and that you are the rewarder of those who diligently seek you. You have said, “I will withhold no good thing from those who walk uprightly.” By grace, I will walk in the righteousness of faith and not in the unrighteousness of faith in my own faith. I behold the uprightness of your walk as the Lamb of God. I behold your completed work as the sacrificial lamb. You completed your work in the earth, and I thank you for your grace. By your enabling power, I will cease struggling with my emotions that run to and fro before your throne in an attempt to impress you. You are not impressed by anything that I do, except to believe. I place my faith in you. I have asked you for a miracle. Now I trust you to give me a miracle.

I have searched my life for qualifications. I have searched for reasons to be blessed in such a magnitude. It is refreshing to my spirit to know that ten dollars and ten million dollars are the same to you. You have come looking for faith in me. I am overwhelmed by your grace that has supplied me with the measure of faith and now faith is in me; therefore, I will not be intimidated by the size of the miracle that I need. I repent for using comparative reasoning to determine if you will perform the miracle for me. By your mercy, I will not use this erroneous concept of faith in your presence, for you are not a respecter of persons, neither are you a liar. I am a liar, but you are true. I purpose not to allow the size of my need to reduce me to a beggar before your throne, but I rise up in the stature of faith, and I express my need as a son who has been made a joint heir to all that you have. You own everything, and it is comforting to know that you are the head of all principality and power. By your enabling grace, I will speak your name while I humble myself unto the authority of your word and your promises. You are true. I will ask, and I shall receive. I praise your name, for I have never seen the righteous forsaken or your seed begging bread or money. I am grateful that you have invited me to come boldly unto your throne of grace that I may obtain mercy and find grace to help me in the time of need. I rejoice at the fact that you desire to give me the miracle more than I desire it. You foreknew me, called me, and justified me. You are for me, now no one can be against me.

It is a blessing to know that you did not spare your own Son, but you delivered him up for us all. I thank you that no one can persuade you not to give me all things with the Son that you offered. My enemy may accuse me before you, but I am among your elect, and no one shall lay anything to my charge. You are the one who justifies me. Now no one can condemn me; therefore, I look to you the one who is making intercession for me. You died for me and you arose again. Now I believe that love is on my side. Nothing can separate me from your love, for you have shed it abroad in my heart by your Holy Ghost that you freely gave to me. I cherish and place a great value on the Holy Ghost that resides in my body, and now there is nothing that you will not give unto me. I believe this.

Lord, I thank you for your voice that you speak to me with, the same voice that you created the world with. Your promises are immutable. I give you praise for not leaving me on the ship of my thoughts and emotions in a time of adversity with no sign of an answer. During these times you have always been on board the ship, walking the waves to show me that you are not just teasing me with a tantalizing offer but proving that you fulfill all your word. Your word declares that we have boldness and access with confidence by your faith; therefore, in life, while in battle, when struggles come, and the questions that I wrestle with arise, I will live by your faith the one who loved me and gave himself for me. I worship you for the gift and fruit of the Spirit which is faith. It is the result of your power and Spirit dwelling in me. I am delighted that you have given me faith that operates by being plugged into your love by your Holy Ghost. Thank you for not allowing me to be double-minded. Your loving-kindness has caused me to be convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that nothing shall separate me from your love. To you alone be the glory.

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - February 6, 2007

Invisible worlds are the origin of the things that are seen according to Hebrews 11:3. Our faith is not in the seen but the unseen. Eye hath not seen what he has already prepared for those who love him. It is in the realm of the Spirit that we feel and see those things that are coming toward us, even if they seem afar off. We take for granted all the sound and visual waves that are in the atmosphere around us. Even cell phones and Internet information are available because of the right receiver. We are not afraid of these waves that are invisible, and yet we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are there as is evidenced every time we make a call or receive one. God made every atom of this atmosphere and equipped it with certain innate qualities so that it would perform according to predictions. God has made us and placed within us the fine tuning that, if developed properly, we will boldly see and confess the communication that comes to us by the Spirit. God did not create us with vivid imaginations to live on the bottom of the sea of life. We can rise to the heights and descend to the depths of his wisdom and knowledge. Faith is the ultimate form of foreknowledge. If we ask according to his will, we know that we have the petitions we have desired of him. This is just as sure as tomorrow's sunlight is just beneath the surface of the sun 93 million miles away unseen by our eyes. It will be here tomorrow without fail as will the grace and performance of God's word, even though we do not see it this second.
