Called from the Stage of Emotional Appeal to War with the Good Fight of Faith (Part 1)

By Moses Hightower

The light of the glorious gospel has not shined in vain. The profit of the gospel is enormous. It has profited you much. Allow its value to be expressed with the voice of thanksgiving, and your testimony shall be filled with merchants who have received the wealth of the gospel. A light is not held under a container and hidden from the inhabitants. Unveil this light, and go shine its beam in the face of the sinners of this world. My light has come into the world, and now the effects of the light are spreading rapidly and without hindrance. Come from your stage of emotional appeal, and war with the good fight of faith always believing in the hope of the gospel.

You have waited on me to talk to you in times past, and I have always been faithful. I will always be faithful, for I am God. I am not a man that I should lie, neither will I deal with you according to your sins and transgressions. I have come to you in loving-kindness as I have always come to you. I dealt the measure of faith and grace necessary to accomplish the task that I have sent you to perform. Do not worry about the troublesome spirits that are raging now during this time of confusion. I have set boundaries for these things. You are an overcomer by my blood and through my name. Do not look upon what you can do of yourself, but look to what I have already done. I have already placed these spirits beneath my feet. Now there remaineth no other place for them to reign. Do not worry. The dark things of the hour cannot harm you, for I have placed them beneath your feet also.

Abide in holiness, and you will always be at peace. Abide in love, and you will always rule over fear. Abide in me, and allow my word to abide in you, then will you see the things that you have asked for come rushing into your chambers of thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is far from the lips and hearts of many in this age of darkness. You cannot afford to allow the darkness of ingratitude to overwhelm you, but you must be more fervent in thanksgiving and praise unto me, your King. The light of the latter time is about to go out of this world. I am the light of the world, and the world can never know me. You know me because I have revealed myself unto you. Keep praise at the forefront of your life, and you shall be an expression of deliverance for many. Look to me, the author and the finisher of your faith. I will perform the work that I have begun. Only believe.

RE: RHEMA - Called from the Stage of Emotional Appeal to War with the Good Fight of Faith (Part 1)

Jesus Christ has brought life and immortality to light by the gospel. In the light of this gospel, we will have revelation that will enrich us with the treasures of his grace. We will not choose to sign up for a treasure hunt in this world's lands. All the treasures of wisdom and understanding are hidden in him. Every spirit that would try to rise up and disturb our peace will be vanquished by the Prince of Peace. We love his law and precious word; therefore, we have a perfect and unbroken peace in the midst of chaos. Fear is a temporary emotional tide in man. We have chosen the eternal joy and peace of the kingdom that will never end. The redeemed are promised that they will be anointed with everlasting joy. We have chosen the way of salvation and the blood of the Redeemer to cover us. We have chosen to live in faith and love and not at the mercy of fear and lust. Emotions are the volatile chemicals of violent explosions in the flesh. We have chosen to use any emotion in the harness of worship and praise of the faithful One whom we have chosen and the One who has chosen us.

I am your secure place. My name is a tower that is strong and cannot be penetrated by evil. I am your everlasting arms, a refuge from every storm and every force forged against you. I am a strong city, not a place that can be entered at the will of your enemies. Those who have entered the strong city of salvation are supplied with weapons that are not carnal but are mighty through me. These weapons are mighty to the pulling down of strong holds, the casting down of imaginations, and the bringing into captivity every thought into my obedience. Do not allow your thoughts to run to shelters designed by your enemies. The refuge of God is not as the shelters designed by man. Your enemies are not human enemies, but your true enemies are spirits without bodies. Your enemies are principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places. These enemies cannot be fended against using carnal methods of defense, but these enemies can only be defended against by my provision. Do not think that you shall escape the pursuing enemies of the darkness by running to man's shelters. They penetrate all things designed by man. The spiritual dogs are not stymied by a man-made ladder. The spiritual serpents are not cut away by man-made knives. There is no man-made defense against your enemies. I am your only refuge, your only city of refuge. I am the Eternal God, your help and your safety. I am your shield, and only my sword is excellent in battle. I cause you to tread upon the high places of your enemies and triumph through praise.

RE: RHEMA - Ears Are for Hearing

Our ears are the channel of faith into our lives. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. So many stations are available on the radio frequencies in our day. We must tune out every voice except the voice of the Lord and his ministers in this hour. Scoffers and mockers have their platforms of declaration. We must be deaf to the calls that would take us aside from the path that the Lord has called us into. Jesus opened the deaf ears in his day, and we need him to give us ears to hear. We must be careful how we hear. The inner ear can become a place causing dizziness and stumbling as one would become drunk on alcohol. We must not be drunk on the cares of this life. We need to be constantly filled with the spirit. We have heard his name and the glorious good news of the gospel. Our destiny is that we would let the good news ring in the ears of those who have not heard. God is calling his people with a voice like a trumpet to be prepared to meet the Bridegroom. We must cast off the works of darkness. Every effort should be made to be sober and watching for his appearing. We must cleanse ourselves from all the filthiness of the flesh and spirit and perfect holiness in the sight of the Lord. He has let us hear his beautiful voice. We must never allow carelessness to spoil the wedding that we have for so long anticipated.

(Continued)

There is no defeat in me. I know no failure. I am the Eternal God, and all power is mine. All power is in my hands, and no one will wrestle power and authority from me. There is no counsel against me, for I am the counselor. I have sought you to bring you to my counsel room and counsel with me.

205. Why seek counsel from the unwise and the ungodly?

If you stand in the congregation of the unrighteous and walk in the counsel of the ungodly, you shall reap their inheritances. I have given you a standing in me. Your platform is the righteousness of God. Now walk in the counsel of my holiness, and you will not fall into the ditches dug by your foes. You have come to the threshold of the catching away of my body.

206. Shall you walk into this arena of departure and have the mind of the world?

RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING - January 8, 2007

God has brought life and immortality to light by the gospel. Death, sin, and darkness are not the rulers of my life. Jesus Christ was manifest to destroy the working of the devil. Destroy means to deprive of its authority to influence or affect someone. This would mean that I have power through the results of new birth and a life that is not influenced by darkness. The riches of God's grace and glory are given to us through the good news of the gospel. Revelation's light has delivered me from the bonds of deception and the lust of the flesh. His commandments are not grievous. They are given to us to build barriers that prevent us from getting into the danger zones of life. We have been promised that it will be light at the evening time. Gross darkness may cover the world, but we are the children of light, and we shine as lights in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation. We draw waters out of the wells of salvation with joy. We do not have to be tormented by the tentacles of the predator of fear. Our Almighty Potentate swallowed up our fear and replaced it with faith.
