SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

Words of Light Upon the Face of Debt

March 24, 2005

Jesus is the Lord, and he does not change. He has already made a way out of this wilderness. I take the sword of the spirit, which is God's word, and cut away all of the debris and the vines of debt that have tried to keep me from the wide open spaces of prosperity in the distance. There are frontiers of financial prosperity and blessings that await my arrival. I will not be yoked to debt any longer, but I will be joined unto the prosperity of the Lord. Jesus is the Lord who teaches me to prosper. He has come that I might have abundant life in every area of my life.

I will swing the sword of the spirit mightily, for he has placed the authority of God within me. I will not be troubled by the distance I must travel to the wide open spaces ahead of me, but I know that in a moment, the Lord can bring me there with the effort of the spirit. Jesus has not allowed me to travel in this direction to bring me to the edge of financial disaster and thrust me down to financial ruin, but he has allowed me to travel this way that I might learn of the course, which many travel and are defeated along this path. The Lord shall use the experience and the knowledge that I have learned to free many. I will not be frustrated by the things that happen, for God has ordained all these things. I am freed from the spirit of debt, and now I shall come forth with the words of my testimony, and by the blood of the covenant, the Lord shall make me free. I am an overcomer, and now he will take me and use me as a vessel of proclamation that others might find their way. Many have lost their way and have accepted their path of debt as a way of life. I will go and say, "Be thou freed from debt, for Jesus Christ makes you free."

The Lord has brought unto me the words of wisdom. Now I will bring to Jesus the tithes and the offerings. I will bring to him my giving in a cheerful way, and I will watch him part the waters before me. My mind will perceive one thing, but faith sees the waters parting and me going over on dry land. I will walk and not look back, for it is time to move on and not encompass this mountain again. God is with me to conquer this mountain of debt.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
