SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

Words of Light Upon the Face of Condemnation

March 20, 2005

As our pastor prayed unto the Lord, he could see himself standing on "a spot" which was the result of light shining. "A spotlight" from above was directed at him and came from above his head. This spot from the light was all about him so that he was surrounded by this spot from the light. The diameter of the spot began to enlarge itself. He fell to the ground and then upon his back. He could see the different rays that were in this light. He thanked the Lord for the light and his righteousness, for he began to perceive that the Lord's attributes, which were the rays of light, were now his clothes and that he was not dressed in the fig leaves of his works but in the righteousness of God. Now I will confess my agreement with God as part of the communion of the Spirit.

I am bought with a price. This price is the blood of Jesus. This price cannot be matched by the kings and princes of this world. There is no God beside him. He is the only Lord God, and his name is Jesus. There is no savior beside him. Jesus knows no other. He is a just God and my redeemer. He has come to me to express the beauty of salvation and the benefits granted unto me through the Lord's redeeming blood. He has settled all the issues that come from the mouth of the accuser of the brethren.

The charges that were against me have been placed on his account, and now there is no evidence against me. Jesus has stood in my stead and redeemed me. Jesus is the Lord who knows all things. He is not the minister of sin. He is the minister of righteousness. He is ministering righteousness unto me. The enemy came with his accusing voice and attempted to bring the power of guilt unto my mind. The Lord has come as the faithful witness to stand and give his testimony of the works of my representative on behalf of me and all those who do believe on Christ. He is more than a man. Jesus is Jehovah, the God of Abraham, the father of faith, and the father of many nations. My mother is not a slave and a bondwoman, but my mother is the Church. I was born free. I was not born a slave. I did not come into this place with the shackles of sin, but sin's shackles were taken off in baptism.

I believe the Lord, for he has placed the great light of love within my heart, and now every ray of this great light shines with the brilliancy of a great diamond whose many rays are seen by the eyes of the accuser. Even the angels look and behold the radiance of God's righteousness as it works on my behalf. The angle that they look from allows them to see one thing this moment, but before it is all said and done, they shall behold the continual turning of righteousness on my behalf. They marvel at the effect of God's righteousness, as it is a blinding light in the face of Accusation. Accusation places its hand before its eyes to prevent the glorious rays of righteousness from blinding its eyes.

I am not afraid, neither will I be intimidated, for Jesus is here with the glorious rays of light. I will let this light shine and never worry about condemnation. When I pick up my own light, I will be condemned. I will not trust in myself and lean not to my own understanding. I will not make provision for the flesh, for the flesh does not profit anything. I will have no confidence in the flesh, for I will only find the rays of self-righteousness that produce the garments of filth. I will not place these filthy rags on my redeemed life, but I will allow the machine of his righteousness to fashion me a new garment, which is without spot or without wrinkle. This righteousness of God fashions me a robe of righteousness that causes me to stand in the presence of hell's court and the world's assassins without fear and without guilt. I will not fear the accuser any longer, for God does cut off his pointing finger and his head that rears up with the voice of defeat. The Lord shall cut his head off with this sword of righteousness, and I shall behold the fingers that pointed and the head that spoke. They shall be amputated and cast beneath my feet.

Now I behold the swing of righteousness as the Lord swings the sword of judgment against the accuser of the brethren. I behold this mighty swing of righteousness as he brings victory to those of faith. I behold it. The Lord does swing now while I yet speak. The swing of God's righteousness shall bring me peace and rest. It shall bring me victory and great favor. I look at the finger of the accuser and look at the head of the accuser. I behold it as it faces the judgment of righteousness. I behold the judgment of righteousness upon condemnation.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
