SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Words of Light Upon the Face of Darkness

March 13, 2005

The light has shined into my darknesses and caused them to be without comprehension. The Lord has destroyed the power of my darkness to comprehend. Without comprehension, my impossibilities are without strategy and without any foundation for success against me. I believe on Jesus, and I know that he has nullified the forces of darkness and made their efforts to destroy me of no effect. He has nullified and frustrated the plan of the darkness to engulf me with defeat. It had planned to smother me with darkness and cause my eyes to be blinded to God's truth, but he has stood in the path of darkness and caused it to flee. No one can stand in the presence of this bright light that God is.

Jesus is the light of the world. His light shines and gives off the sufficiency of his light. There is no power shortage in him. He is more than enough. Now I lean on him, the light of the world and know that the darkness cannot find me. Darkness merely camps round about the light. It cannot enter in. Jesus is the light, and he is the door. The darkness shall not enter into him, the door of my life. Darkness does not have the courage to come to Jesus, the door, and attempt to enter into him again. Darkness entered him once and that unto total defeat. Jesus swallowed up the darkness in victory. Now there remains no other darkness on "his menu," for now he only eats and drinks the praises of his people. He swallowed darkness once, and he swallows it no more. By the grace of God, Jesus tasted death for every man, and in that he tasted death once, he tastes it no more, neither shall his redeemed body.

I will be as Jesus, and I will not be desirous to eat of the table of darkness. I cannot eat of the table of light and of the table of darkness. I choose this day who I will serve. I will eat nothing from the darkness, and I will know the power of holiness and righteousness. I refuse the darkness and choose the light. I refuse the bitter and choose the sweet. The Lord has beauty for me to behold that is not made visible or known in the domain of darkness. I can only behold the beauty that he has planned for me in the domain of light. This kingdom of light is ever increasing, and its increase has no end. I will stay in this kingdom of light and forever enjoy the benefits of light. The sword of darkness desires to cut me away from the light. I take the sword of the spirit, which is God's word and establish lines for myself so that the sword of darkness does not touch me. I will go and pick up the sword of the spirit, for I must draw lines in the universe that confine me to the light and separate me from the darkness. Those who walk in the light as Jesus is in the light have fellowship with him, and his blood continually cleanses them from all sin. Sin must be paid for, yet in the light where there is fellowship and cleansing, the wages of sin are canceled, for Jesus has paid the debt of sin for all.

I look unto Jesus, the Bright and Morning Star. He has brightness to shine in my path to give me new direction in his word and in this life. He has new paths and new frontiers to discover and to conquer. I will not fear the uncertainty of the new things, but I will know and be fully persuaded that I am more than a conqueror through Jesus. He has loved me with a love that is everlasting. He has loved me with a fervency that causes a new fire to burn within me. He will not allow the fire of love to be quenched, neither shall he allow the strength of death to come and break our fellowship that we have in this marvelous light.

I will walk on in the light as he is walking and know of the continual cleansing that he gives. He will wash me with fresh water and precious blood. The washing of regeneration and the renewing of his Holy Spirit within me shall cause me to speak the oracles of God with a new fervency and the abundance of inspiration unto edification, comfort, and encouragement for God's people. His people are precious unto him, and he has given me to them. I allow him to use me freely, and he shall feed them the water of life and the bread of victory. They shall spring forth soon into the glorious liberty of his victory and then shall he bring souls that I have not seen. The Lord awaits their fervent praises that come because they love him. He awaits the natural praises that come because they love him and not because they are told to praise him. I will be an example of God's goodness, for he has poured out his goodness in its abundance. He will continue to show me things that I have not seen. I look up and behold the wonder on the way unto my bosom and my life. I look up, for he sent a wonder unto me. I behold the wonder!

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
