Words
of Light Upon the Face of Darkness, Ignorance, and Transgressions
March
12, 2005
If God would regard my iniquities and my transgressions, I would
be led away to the judgment without mercy and grace, but because
of his lovingkindness and tender mercies, I have been brought
before his throne of grace that I might have mercy and grace
to help me in this time of need. He is the light of my life.
Because darkness has hovered over my head, does not mean that
the light of my life is affected by the presence of the darkness.
God is not affected by its presence, neither is he intimidated
by its threats. Jesus is the head of all principalities and
power. He is the head of all the rulers of the darkness of this
world. The light that he is cannot be shut off, neither can
it be contended with.
The
Lord is the conqueror, the deliverer from heaven, my creator
and my God. He is my Father. Jesus is his name. His name is
the essence of his being and his nature. I trust in his name,
and I know that he has heard my cry and has responded unto my
desperate cry. If I, being a father, responded to the desperate
cries of my children, God will respond to the cries of desperation
from his children much more. God has made me a son and accepted
me in the cage of his belly. In his spiritual rib, has he placed
me and assimilated me into his church. He has placed faith and
grace within me that love will not fail but that love would
endure in me and not fail because of adversity and ignorance.
God has not judged me after my ignorance and transgressions,
neither has he offered rewards according to my failures and
sins, but after his tender mercies, which are sure and everlasting,
has he laid up rewards for me by faith. The Lord has put the
blessing of faith within me and foreordained my victory over
the world.
I
determine not to be stymied by the clouds of the evening hour,
for God tells me that there is surely light in this time. He
has come to my rescue and taken off every shackle and fetter.
The enemy, which has sent forth his words of judgment, has been
pushed aside, and now God's arms have embraced me and brought
me to the banqueting table of victory. I eat the bread of victory
and drink the wine of success. I am in the Father's house, and
now there is fruit left for me to taste. I taste and see that
the package before me is not an illusion, neither is it the
strong delusion that God has sent forth unto those who love
not the truth, but he has sent me a blessing that cannot be
erased or blotted out. I enter into his rest and wait there
until his coming. His rest shall be my chamber of preparation
and the seat of departure. I rest in his rest. I usher forth
stammering lips and other tongues now, for God has made me glad
from within. The things without are uncovered, and now I see
them for what they really are. All these things are as the dung
of cattle. I count them all lost, for Christ gives me himself
as an exceeding and great reward. I cannot count God's value.
If cannot count the sand of the sea, neither the stars of heaven,
surely there is no method or instrument by which I can count
the value of the Lord.
The
Lord is immeasurable, but he is approachable. He is immeasurable,
but he is accessible. I purpose to count all these trials joy
and mark every disappointment down as peace, for God has used
these things as foundations for right attitudes and right expressions
of holy character. I determine not to forget the teachings of
grace, for God has settled the issues by allowing the sufferings
which have come. I elect not to be a forgetful hearer, but I
will be quick to remember the teaching of his love, which has
chastened and produced joyous sufferings. I will go and worship,
for Jesus is the Lord who changes not. I will go and drink of
waters that are fresh and not stale. I will go and skip as the
young ram on the mountain top. God has brought me to the mountain
of the last days. I look over the horizon of the end times and
see that the light was always shining even before there was
a world. The creation of the world did not bring God into existence,
but he is the light which created all that is created.
I
look unto the Lord again, and I see that he is easily beheld
to those whom he reveals himself unto. I behold the dust of
the last days and the horses and riders of the end times. I
worship now, for there cometh the hour when peace shall be no
more, for the Lord will take peace from the earth. I will prepare
to leave with the Prince of peace, for there is none other.

Hebrews
10:22 - 23
Let
us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let
us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
(for he is faithful that promised;)
Ephesians
2:8-9
For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
