Words
of Light Upon the Face of Traditions
March
2, 2005
Much vanity is in the world. I will not let anyone deceive me
with vain words. I will go from the presence of those who speak
with vain words. The wrath of God will come upon these children
of disobedience. I will not be a partaker with the children
of disobedience. I am no longer in darkness. I am light in Christ.
Now I will walk as a child of light. I will have no fellowship
with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather reprove them.
All things that are reproved are made manifest by the light.
Whatever is manifested, is light. It is time to awake out of
my sleep and slumber. I will arise from the deadness of my traditions.
The Lord will give me true light. I understand what his will
is, and I will not be foolish in this hour. I will be filled
with the Spirit. I will speak to others in psalms and hymns
and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in my heart to
the Lord. I prepare myself for the city God has made. Its streets
are pure gold. The city has no need of the sun or moon to shine
in it. He is the glory that lights it. I behold, he shows me
a pure river of water of life. I behold the throne of the Lord
before me. I will walk up to him, my blessed hope and receive
the blessings of his goodness. I repent and return to the fellowship
of love. Jesus is my bright and morning star. I am thirsty.
Now I will go to him. I will go and receive the water of life
freely.

Hebrews
10:22 - 23
Let
us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let
us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
(for he is faithful that promised;)
Ephesians
2:8-9
For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
