SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

OF FAITH

Words of Light Upon the Face of Discord and Deception

February 24, 2005

Jesus has given me life and that more abundantly. I will not bargain with the enemy at the gate and exchange the life that he has given me for the empty package that is being offered. I have tried the spirits at the door. Now I will beware lest I am led away with the error of the wicked and fall from my own steadfastness. I purpose to continue to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Not everyone that says unto him, "Lord, Lord," is hearing his voice. There are many voices and none of them are without signification. The voice of antichrist is speaking loudly in this hour. God has shortened the days. If he had not, no flesh would be saved, but for the elect's sake, which he has chosen, he has shortened the days. Many voices beckon people to come into the empty chambers of idolatry. I purpose not to follow them, neither be enticed by the glamour of recognition. God has said, "Be ye holy as I am holy." He has not changed his mind and gone in a different direction.

I determine not to forsake the ancient landmarks of truth. He has not devised a different plan for saving mankind. I will read the words of Paul and live by them. Paul did not compromise with the false teachers of his day but rather reproved them. He reproved them because God instructed him to do so. He labored with God in building his body. He has not changed, neither will he change. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is the Lord, and he does not change. Paul's message is the message for this hour and this time. I take up the trumpet of truth and play my tune of truth in this hour. I will not play another melody because the hearers reject the melody played by me. I am ordained to play the melody of salvation that harmonizes with the apostles of the early church. The discord played by the false apostles and deceitful workers, who have transformed themselves into the apostles of Christ, is being declared from every point on the globe. I do not marvel, for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light; therefore, it is no great thing that his ministers also are transformed as the ministers of righteousness, whose end shall be according to their works.

I pray, "Lead me not into temptation, and deliver me from evil and the evil one." I make this a part of my daily prayer. Deception is rampant. As the serpent beguiled Eve, so are deceiving spirits beguiling people today. Through great subtlety, they seek to corrupt minds from the simplicity that is in Christ. I remember, if he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom I have not preached or if I receive another spirit, which I have not received or another gospel, which I have not accepted, I might well bear with him. I stand fast in the truth. It has made me free. Now I will not be entangled with the yoke of bondage at my door. I speak to the enemy in the gate and press on toward the mark for the high calling of God that is in Christ Jesus. I will go, for God is with me until the end of the age.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
