SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

Words of Light Upon the Face of Doubtful Debates

February 18, 2005

God has brought plenteous redemption unto me. I am no longer a slave to passions, pride, and evil. God has redeemed me from all these evil influences. He is my owner, protector, and pastor. Jesus is the good shepherd. He gave his life for me. Now he will do much more for me. I will not look at the impossibilities that stand before me and render doubtful thoughts in God's presence. I look to his love, and I will be fully persuaded that with his life, he also pledged to give me all things. I have looked for judgment to come to me for my failures, but I remember, God has not dealt with me after my transgressions, sins, and failures. He has dealt with me after his lovingkindness and his tender mercies. He gets no glory out of judging me; therefore, I will not be a judge in this hour but an encourager, for by the voice of encouragement, God will lift many out of the pits of despair and hopelessness.

I give God an opportunity to provide me with the freshness of his love. From the heavens, he is imparting the fresh bread for the evening time. Manna is sent from his throne room, and the wine of the last days is served for all flesh. I withdraw myself from the table of doubt and draw near the table of plenty. There is room here for me, a Gentile. I leave my doubts at the table of doubt. Though the spirit of doubt follows me, I will not listen to his inspiration, but I allow his words to go on to the vacuum of wasted attempts to distract me from love and faith. God has come to me today and extended his hand of acceptance to me again. He has come to confirm his love for me. I receive this guarantee of faithfulness and allow it to be the foundation of my belief. He is faithful. He promised, and it is impossible for him to lie. He has not promised and decided not to perform what he promised.

I look up at arriving redemption and see that it is very near, much nearer than when I first believed. As death lurks on every hand, God has given me everlasting security and safety in his name. I am not distracted by fear's wave throughout the earth, but I am focused on God's faithfulness and his power to save to the uttermost all those who come unto him by the faith of Jesus Christ. He has given to every man the measure of faith, which is necessary to achieve all things. I will not allow a thief to steal the possibilities that wait to serve me with success. I arise from the entertainment center of doubtful disputations, and I come to the table of active performances of my God on my behalf. I behold his hand. It is full of gainful possibilities, which are being converted into powerful realities while he yet speaks.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
