SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

OF FAITH

Series 3.2.14 - #45

Words of Light Upon the Face of Impatience

February 14, 2005

God has desired to give me all things that I have asked for. I purpose not to allow my faith to waver. I will not be double minded. I will receive the things that I have asked for. I choose not to settle for the limitations of the past. I allow God to set my limitations, and I will find out that there are none. He can do all things. With men, things are impossible, but with God, all things are possible. He has come that I might have life and that more abundantly. The abundant life has not eluded me. It is on his right hand with pleasures forevermore. He is not hiding it behind his back. I look on his right hand and come to it. I reach and seize what I want. He has given all things unto me. I am not trapped. The way is made; therefore, I do not stand and hesitate any longer. The barriers set before me cannot prevent me from going to the victory promised. God has promised that he would see me through the obstacles and bring me to a great victory. I have allowed the time I have waited on answers to my prayers to discourage me. The Lord has remembered me. My father and mother may forget, but God will not forget me. I do not allow time spent developing the muscles of patience to make me sing the blues or to mourn with the mourners. I rejoice in the victory that I am expecting. I cannot prevent the shadows from coming into my life, but I am not controlled by these shadows. Jesus is the same in the shadows as he is in the time when there are no shadows. He is faithful and will be on time.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
