Words
of Light Upon the Face of Temptation
February
9, 2005
The tempter is no match for those whose heart is upright before
the Lord. A man is not tempted by God but drawn away of his
own lust. He will not suffer me to be tempted above that which
I am able, and with every temptation, he will make a way of
escape that I may be able to bear it. I will not allow the voice
of the tempter to lead me away from God's presence, but I bring
all my thoughts into captivity unto his obedience. I purpose
to think on the right things, and I shall escape the lure of
seducing spirits. I cast myself upon his faithfulness in the
time of trouble, and I will have no confidence in the flesh.
I pray always, and I will not venture in the paths of temptation.
I pray that my heart remains pure. I pray that my mouth has
a watch set before it and that the door of my lips is kept.
I pray that my eyes not behold any wicked thing. I pray that
I do not enter into temptation.
The
Lord has placed gifts in me. These gifts are fruitful and spring
forth for his glory. I allow the gift of God to operate in me.
It brings me before great men in due time. I will not fear to
open my mouth and speak the words that he has placed in my heart.
I do not fear, for he has ordained the ministry within me. Without
fear, I allow the gift to operate in the presence of the lords
of the hour. I do not fear.
I
come from the corners of ministry and allow him to lead me into
the paths of ministry that he has chosen for me to minister.
The Lord is with me. Now I do not fear. The gift is within me
and so is the kingdom of God. He will give me favor with man.
My gift shall speak for itself. The time has come for the manifestation
of the Lord's power in this earth. Now I believe the words spoken
in my ears. There is a famine of the hearing of the words of
God, but he has given me corn for the last days. The corn that
he has given me shall be used to feed the children the living
bread for their faith. I am determined not to spare the expressions
that desire to leap from my heart and life. God has ordained
the expressions in me. They shall flow freely if I allow them
to. Now I go and allow the operation of the gift within me.

Hebrews
10:22 - 23
Let
us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let
us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
(for he is faithful that promised;)
Ephesians
2:8-9
For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
