Words
of Light Upon the Face of Fear and Torment
January

God has been merciful unto me. The kindness and forgiveness
that he has shown towards me instead of punishment should motivate
me to show this same mercy to others. When I gave my life to
God, he rewarded me by being merciful unto me. Those who are
under his power have received sure mercy. My obedience to the
gospel brought me his approval. I was ready to be sentenced
with a death sentence, but he chose me to receive a pardon.
Jesus is not a merciless God. He shows kindness to all that
believe. His great compassion has been shown to me even though
I was an offender of his power. Jesus came to the prison house
where I was imprisoned and released me from judgment's hand.
God's divine favor and compassion was extended to me as he turned
torment unto rejoicing. In my selfishness, I sat idly by with
souls crying for mercy in their distress. I hear their cries.
It is in my power to release the souls from bondage. I will
simply go and preach the gospel unto them. It was hearing the
gospel preached that led to my freedom. I will go and do unto
them as it was done unto me. The blessing is in my mouth. I
will demonstrate my love for others by allowing them to know
of God's kindness and compassion. Many await the punishment
that justice demands. While they wait, mercy desires to hold
back the punishment. I will allow love to work through me to
fulfill mercy's desire.
God
shed his love abroad in my heart. Now is the power to cause
faith to work for me in living demonstrations of supremacy poised
for release. Love is the greatest. I allow his kindness to be
expressed through me, and I will know love in a manner that
is foreign to those who are cruel. Those around me are suffering.
Fear has attacked with its greatest forces. The mental anguish
of the people has created tormented lives. God's love desires
to be released from the bosom of the church to cast out this
tormenter. I will go and give what has been given unto me. To
whom much is given, much is required. Jesus has supplied more
grace to enable me to fulfill what he has asked of me. I open
the gift that has been given unto me and share it with the world.
I suffered abuse by those chosen to rule over me, but God has
healed me. Now I rise and tell others of the mercy I received
during my time of mistreatment. I am empowered with grace. Grace
leaps higher than the effects of exploitation. I am free. I
act out my freedom. I will go and preach the gospel of deliverance
to others. I will go. A new, greater dimension of ministry has
been given to me.

Hebrews
10:22 - 23
Let
us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let
us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
(for he is faithful that promised;)
Ephesians
2:8-9
For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
