SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

Words of Light Upon the Face of Difficult Circumstances

January 18, 2005

Jesus has called me to testify concerning the resurrection. I do it with the power of his spirit, and great grace shall be upon me. His grace labors and enables me to accomplish solutions to the complex and simple problems of the hour. I lean on him and not on myself, and I will experience the fullness of his grace. He has a fullness that I have never experienced. He has a testimony that I have never expressed. He has a light that I have never beheld. I look again to the favor given me, and I will find the benefits in the gift that I have overlooked.

God is refining my experience. Abundance of mercy is at work on my behalf. Though I deserved judgment, God has given me an abundance of his mercy to lift me and bring me out of the consequences of my mistakes and entrapments by the enemy. He is very rich in mercy. When I was dead in trespasses and sins, he expressed his extreme kindness toward me. This same kindness is expressing its nature and victory toward me. I will experience the victory that comes by his kindness toward me. I should have perished, but the riches of his grace rained kindness upon me. Now I allow the enabling grace that has made me acceptable in his sight to abound. Enabling grace is leaping with me in its arms. The Lord is carrying me. He brought me out of darkness and into his marvelous light. He brought me out of the devil's family and into the family of the Most High God; therefore, I know that he will, all the more, bring me out of every snare and every temptation. I am not a minister of the gospel because of my human achievements. I am what I am by his grace. The grace that he has given is an effectual grace which is laboring abundantly and effectual unto total victory and success in the kingdom of God.

I do not fear the threats of the enemy. I have abounded unto a good work. Jesus expressed his fullness to save me. Now he is expressing his fullness in keeping me and enabling me to accomplish the fulfillment of his vision; therefore, I do not fear, neither am I afraid of failure's threat. He is sending forth an expression of grace that shall transform me. By his grace, he is doing more than I could ask or think. I am a new creature in Christ. Now I lift up my eyes from the tree of man's knowledge and look to the knowledge of God Almighty. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. In him, there is no darkness. In him, there is no defeat. With every trial, I am growing in his grace and in the knowledge of him, my Lord and Savior; therefore, I am strong in this grace and show forth the testimony of his victory. Though I have sinned and fallen short of his glory, I am justified and counted righteous. Sin cannot rule over me. Sin must bow to his name. I am determined not to continue at the altar of prostrated sin. Grace shall only abound as I continue in righteousness and holiness.

I purpose not to take my relationship with God for granted, but I realize that which is available to me is a blessing and a free gift. I will not use the blessing of forgiveness as an opportunity and occasion to sin and serve the flesh and the world. Many have lost their relationship with him and become slaves to another master because they took God for granted. I come to the altar of repentance, and I am broken on him. I repent and acknowledge my helplessness to live victoriously without his grace and him. I must not deceive myself and say that I have no sin, but I must be honest, and I will not miss the grace that looks for me in this very hour. I can do nothing of myself, but through God, I can do all things. I purpose to do all things by grace and then I will not falter and stumble over my own efforts and failures. I purpose to do all things by grace then will I seek to please him and not seek the gratification of my flesh and self. He has touched me with his mighty grace. Now I stretch forth my hands and touch the scepter of righteousness. He has beckoned me to come into the throne room; therefore, I receive of mercy and grace. It is enough for every dilemma and all circumstances. I look beyond my circumstances and behold the victory now and at the end of the circumstances.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
