Words
of Light Upon the Face of Storms
January
16, 2005
God has kept me as the apple of his eye. He found me in a desert
place and in the waste wilderness of this world. He has given
me instruction in my night season. As an eagle stirs up her
nest, flutters over her young, spreads abroad her wings, takes
her young, and bears them on her wings, the Lord has lead me
in the past. He will continue to lead me. He has flown into
my life forever. He did not visit me. He came to live inside
of me. As he spread his wings, I will ride out of this present
trouble on his wings. His wings are great and long winged. They
are full of feathers.
Jesus
is the everlasting God, the Lord, and the Creator of the ends
of the earth. He does not faint, neither does he grow weary.
There is no searching of his understanding. He gives power to
the faint and to them that have no might; he increases their
strength. I will wait on him. He shall renew my strength. I
shall mount up with wings as an eagle. I shall run and not be
weary. I shall walk and not faint. The Lord has brought me unto
himself. He has given me grace so that I may obey his voice
and keep his covenant. Now I am a peculiar treasure unto him.
I am a priest unto him and a part of a holy nation. By his power,
I am stronger than a lion and swifter than an eagle. I exercise
the power given unto me.
God
has given me precious promises. He placed a rainbow in the sky
as a reminder to his people that he would never destroy the
earth again by water. The light that he has given me will not
fade. The manifold light that he has given is supplying all
that I need right now. The raging waters shall not destroy me.
I shall not drown in the waters that seem to have swept me away.
I shall not fall to the rocks below. Though the waters seem
to carry me high into the mountains of trouble, I will not be
abandoned there. Though the waters carry me low into the ravine
of the valley below, I will not be deserted there. Though the
rains beat down upon me with an unrelenting force, God has supplied
me shelter from them. He has placed the wall of his power in
front of these waters. Now will they be halted and cease to
rage.
I
look upon the horizon and see that the sun rises in the distance.
The storm is passing, and the sun is going to shine on me again.
I have felt like I was all alone. Not many understood what I
was going through. With the sunlight in the distance, there
comes many friends, brethren, and sisters to lift up my heavy
hands and feeble knees. Weeping has endured for the night, but
joy comes with the sunshine. I will know that the ministry,
which is given to me, is appreciated by many. The Lord has many
people in the world whose ears are opened to hear his voice.
He has many sheep that hear his voice. The prophetic word, the
therapeutic word will continue to speak through me even in a
greater measure.
God
has given me grace to endure unto the end. I will not let go
of my faith, for love will not depart from me. Love and faith
are one. Love works faith. The trouble will not last always.
The sunshine brings a new joy to my soul. I have wept in secret,
but now God will turn my weeping into laughing. The dark veil
of fog that has been before me has been moved. There comes the
sun of his love to warm my heart and my spirit. At the end of
this storm, there lies a valley of green pasture. I lie down
there in peace and tranquility. I rest, the storm is over. I
drink of the fresh waters in the new valley of blessings. Milk
and honey wait on me to taste.

Hebrews
10:22 - 23
Let
us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let
us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
(for he is faithful that promised;)
Ephesians
2:8-9
For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
