SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

OF FAITH

Series 3.1.15 - #15

Words of Light Upon the Face of Weariness

January 15, 2005

I will stand still and see the salvation of Jesus. The same love that caused him to give his life a ransom for the sins of the world is the same love that is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Ghost. The love that motivated him to include me in his covenant of life is the love that shall keep my feet from falling and count me faultless before the presence of his glory. God has counted me righteous. He has made me sit together with him in heavenly places. I did not earn a position here; therefore, I trust the grace that shall grant me a place in heaven. God has not raised me up to heavenly places in Christ and decided not to catch me away with his bride.

I stretch forth my faith and offer praise for the breath that I breathe. I stretch forth my faith, and I offer thanks for the God of the whole earth. I offer praise to the Father of lights and the Father of spirits. I have the spirit that he gave unto me. God has given man his spirit and lit him as a candle, for the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord. He has lit every man that comes into the world. I offer praise to the one who is my Creator. I have learned to come unto Jesus, but I must also learn to leave my burdens with him. Much of my weariness is from the things that I should have left with him. I come unto him with those that labor and are heavy laden, and he will give me rest. I take his yoke upon me and learn of him, for he is meek and lowly in heart, and I shall find rest unto my soul.

God has not sent me away with a hard yoke and a heavy burden. His yoke is easy, and his burden is light. I come as a little child, and I shall leave as a little child. He gave unto me the grace to come, for no one can come unto him except it is given unto him to come. I believe on God as the scripture has said then out of my belly shall flow rivers of living water. From within me today, there are rivers waiting to flow out of me unto others. There are rivers waiting to carve new paths in the earth and through the lives of others. I make a straight path for the rivers of life. Within these rivers, are the tender mercies of God. Everyone that is thirsty may come unto these waters. Though they have no money, they may come and buy without money and without price.

God has sent me with an everlasting covenant even the sure mercies of David. There are people calling upon him. Many are seeking him in this very hour. He is near them, but they cannot find him. I will go and show them the way. I know that there is no other God but him. There is no other place for them to look unto and be saved. His word is gone out of his mouth in righteousness, and it shall not return unto him void. Now unto Jesus, every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall swear. No one else came as a tender plant and as a root out of a dry ground. No one else came and was despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief.

Jesus is the Lord of Israel. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. He is the Word, and he is God. He was made flesh and dwelt among them. They beheld his glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. He gave the sign and became the sign. It is written, "Therefore, the Lord himself shall give you a sign. Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Jesus became God with man. Now he is the Holy Ghost, God within man. All that shall come to him, he will in no wise cast out. I have his spirit. Now I speak with the Spirit and say, "Come. Whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
