SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

OF FAITH

Series 3.1.13 - #13

Words of Light Upon the Face of Spiritual Mountains

January 13, 2005

Jesus has come that I might have life and that more abundantly. He did not merely come that I might have it, but he gave it unto me and guaranteed that it would work in my life unto fruitfulness. I did not choose him. He chose me, and now that he has chosen me, he shall confirm his love unto eternal life. The Day Star is shining, and the countenance of this star cannot be tarnished by the rationale of the world's system. The eons of existence shall never testify of God's glory the way his church shall testify. The Lord has chosen to be glorified in his body, the church, and now is his glory revealed in it. I choose not to be a part of another system, but I will remain true unto the truth and the expression of the resurrection. I am a new creature, and old things have passed away. I purpose not to chase after "passing away things," for they profit nothing. Even if I gained the whole world, it would not profit me anything.

Jesus has given me true profit. Now I cherish this gain of the spirit and of divine order, then will I have peace. I determine to keep my mind on the Lord, and he will continually keep me in perfect peace. I have his peace. Now I will not fear, neither will I be afraid. I am in a secret place. I am hidden in God's pavilion and under the shadow of his wings. He has borne me up and made me to sit here in heavenly places. The dogs of the hour cannot find me. The wolves of the field cannot devour me. The beast of the valley cannot rend me. The lions that go about and seek to devour will never taste of my flesh, for God has taken me into the arms of his love. He is carrying me near his bosom of lovingkindness and tender mercies. I am glad, and I know that his love for me will not wane in the hour of temptation, but his love shall constrain me and keep me in the hour of temptation. I will not be stripped of my God-given righteousness by a thief, neither shall I be left without the strength of God because of the subtlety of lust. He will keep lust on the outside and guard my heart with grace. He will set a watch before my heart and my mouth, and he will keep the door of my lips.

The Lord has come that I might have life. This life is flowing in abundance, and now I am refreshed in him. I will go into these waters and swim in his glory, for the glory of the Lord is revealed. The arm of the Lord is made known and is now manifest. I am lifted from the pit of ruin and torment, for the act of his grace has finished the last act for me and for his bride. I come unto him and rest from my labors, for he has finished the work by the act of his grace. Grace has spoken to my mountain, and now the absence of the mountain's presence gives me a clear and plain view of redemption's path that is set before me. I will go and walk in this plain path before my feet. No lion is here, neither is there any ravenous beast. Only the redeemed are walking here. I walk now, for God is with me to restore all that was taken away in the battles of the past. It is my time of restoration; therefore, I rejoice and am glad, for he has placed the fruit of restoration into my barns of faith. I am glad, and I know that the words that have come unto me are from the Lord. They are sure, and they are faithful in productivity. I know that and believe.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
