Words
of Light Upon the Face of Impossibility
January
12, 2005
The Lord has waited on my return to prayerfulness. He did not
reject me in my times of absence from real prayer. He is not
a man, neither is he anxious to see me destroyed or defeated.
He is desirous to see me victorious and glorifying his name
in the victory of his cross. I lift my head from regret and
false guilt because of my failures. I remember that he knew
that I would fail. His blood has not failed in my time of need.
The blood is ever present for my cleansing. I lift up my head
as a gate, and I am as an everlasting door. He will come in
and bless the fruit of my hands. He has not given me these blessings
to halt them inside of a house. God will not allow the enemy
to confine them in a box. These things are a blessing designed
for others also. The Lord has made me a steward over these things.
I have kept them and arranged them. Now I behold the work that
he will do for his own name's sake. The night shall not come
before God has fulfilled that which he has already planned.
An enemy cannot hinder his fulfillment of these inevitable things.
The Lord has offered his only begotten son for me. Now he will
give me all things that he has destined to give me.
I
do not worry about the strategies of the enemy. He has attempted
to frustrate me in vain. God has sent more grace that I might
abide in the valley of victory. This place is a valley of victory,
not a valley of defeat. Jesus is the God of the valley also.
He is not only the God of the mountains, but he is also God
of the valley. He will give me tremendous victory for my tasting.
I taste and see how good the victories will be in this present
time and the times to come. God has made a way for me. The way
has not been shut because of my lack of strength. I have tried
to figure out a way, but now grace has motivated me to become
as a little child again. I can now enter into the way that he
has made. God has also given me strength to carry the things
that he does not remove.
Jesus
is right here eternally. The way is made. Now I do not worry
about the rough path before my eyes. It is as an undeveloped
area. I behold the technical things that are not possible by
me and my abilities. These things are already solved. I will
enter into the realm of real faith and close the eyelids of
human reasoning. When I have closed the eyelids of human reasoning
and opened the eyes of faith, then will I behold the hand of
possibility demolish impossibility before my face.
God
has not offered me blessings and turned them into curses. The
voice of his thunder has not turned off its lightning. His voice
of thunder has spoken and struck impossibility with the lightning
of victory. I can now see the way to take, for his lightning
has provided me light in this time of fainting. God's love has
not authored victory and defeat at the same time. His love has
assured me of total victory and perfect peace. I do not allow
the pains from the past to cause me to continually cry over
the hurts and bruises, but I look to his sacrifice, and I behold
the effect of all these things on his sacrifice. Now I am forgiven
and healed. He took away all these things in his own body. Now
I am free to come to this throne of grace as a son. The Lord's
hand is stretched forth to bring me into a right relationship
with him and not an unacceptable relationship. His blood has
made this possible. Now no one will make it impossible.
I
have misinterpreted goodness. I will go and learn the meaning
of the statement, "Why callest thou me good? No, not one
is good, but God." I will go and learn what that means in
the original tongue and the culture of those in that hour. I
will not be ignorant of the times. The hour is late. It is much
later than I perceive. I awaken unto the purpose and allow the
inspiration of grace to revive me by its power. I have allowed
an enemy to hinder me. The Lord will show me the hindering thing
and then bring me to a godly zealousness. I lift my head in
thanksgiving, and I will be continually grateful. God has blessed
me beyond measures expected by man. Now I allow him to create
a new desire for the word that must come to carry me on to the
purpose ahead. I behold the power of his grace to make a way
in this time of uncertainty. I behold this grace now.

Hebrews
10:22 - 23
Let
us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies
washed with pure water. Let
us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
(for he is faithful that promised;)
Ephesians
2:8-9
For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
