SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

OF FAITH

Series 3.1.10 - #10

Words of Light Upon the Face of the Handicaps of Evil

January 10, 2005

God has given me life. Abundant life is mine. I purpose not to allow the contradiction of the devil to deny me the truth of this fact, neither will I allow envious people to assert their jealousy into my mind. The Lord has blessed me. I choose not to hide my blessings, and I will not fear to show forth his praises and the fruit of his many blessings. I will not feel guilty about being blessed. Blessings are from the Lord. A man cannot receive anything unless it is given to him from above; therefore, I rejoice. He has made my soul glad.

I am not antagonized or annoyed by the attitudes of others. The Lord has called me to show forth his goodness unto the sons of men. I am not irritated by the opposition of those who are weak in faith. I will go and point them to the cross. By his cross, he moved every obstacle and arrested all the spirits of darkness. There is no barrier before me. Only the illusions of the enemy stand before me. Illusions are tricks of the devil. Many have been handicapped by the delusions sent from devils. I do not allow these things to become deterrents in my life. The obstructions that I have looked upon are not problems for God; therefore, I am not inhibited by them. I walk on in faith. He has already worked out every problem. The rainbow of his promises is always with me.

I dwell in heavenly places. Earthly hindrances cannot obstruct heavenly things. No power can be against me if God is for me. If he is against me, then no one can be for me. God is for me. Now I rejoice and go on to possess the land. He has given it unto me. I am not discouraged by the complications presented to me. I do not carry these things, for they are weights. If I attempt to carry them, they will become liabilities to me, and I will be disabled in the battle. The battle is the Lord's, not mine. I go on to minister and leave the battle up to him. I am determined to not allow the devil's defiance to disturb my peace. Jesus is my peace, and he cannot be disturbed. I am rich in faith, and I will never have to worry about these disadvantages.

I am determined not to allow my faith to be taken into custody. I free my faith with praise and soar into the wide open spaces of victory. He has given me the wings of an eagle. Now I am not seized or detained by these disadvantages. Evil cannot capture good, neither can darkness apprehend the light. I dwell in the brightness of his glory; therefore, I am not incarcerated in the spiritual wheelchairs of unbelief. Unbelief has arrested many of the people's faith. I will go and release them from unbelief's jail. The word of their release is in my mouth. I speak the words that he gives. It is due season.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
