SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

Words of Light Upon the Face of Hindrances To Prophecy

January 4, 2005

God is not a man that he should lie. It is impossible for him to lie. He is the truth, and in him, is no lie. He is the light, and in him, there is no darkness. Jesus is the Lord, and he does not change. There is no shadow of turning in him. I must be in agreement with him if we are to continue to walk together. Two cannot walk together except they are agreed. The Lord will do nothing except he reveal his secret unto his servants, the prophets. God has spoken, so I will go and prophesy. God is speaking things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. Who God is continues to be a mystery to many, which was kept secret since the world began. God has manifested it now, but many do not know him. No one can come unto him unless the Father draws him. All things are delivered of the Father, and no man knows who the Son is but the Father and who the Father is but the Son and he to whom the Son will reveal him. My eyes are blessed, for they see. Many prophets and kings have desired to see the things that I see and have not seen them and to hear the things that I hear and have not heard them. I offer praise today, for I am blessed.

The secret things belong unto Jesus, my God. The things that are revealed belong to his children forever. He is a God that hides himself and has concealed his identity from the wise and prudent. His name was a secret, but he manifested it. The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him, and he shows them his covenant. I have been plucked out of many nets, for my eyes were toward God. My trust has been in him; therefore, he has kept my soul and delivered me. I will not be ashamed, for integrity and uprightness shall preserve me as I wait on him. God has shown me mercy.

The enemy told me that I was desolate. The troubles in my life were enlarged, but God brought me out of all of my distresses. Men afflicted me. The pains in my life were increased. Jesus forgave all my sins and considered my many enemies as redemption brought me out of all my troubles. God has become very intimate with me. I counseled with him, my light and my salvation. I shall not fear. God is the strength of my life. I shall not be afraid. He will make my enemies stumble and fall when they come upon me. Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war rises against me, I am very confident of God's promises. In the secret of his tabernacle, he has hidden me. I am set upon a rock. In the time of trouble, he has me hidden in his pavilion. My head is lifted up above my enemies round about me, so I offer the sacrifices of joy. I sing praises unto God, for he is good, and his mercy is everlasting.

The Lord has placed me in a secret place. Now I abide in this secret place. Though men see me, they do not understand how I am hidden. I will go and do the work of God. God has placed a curtain of grace about me; therefore, I am hidden behind this curtain. He has dropped the curtain of grace and closed the scenes of the past on my enemies. The curtain of grace has been drawn as my protection, but it has shut out the trouble of the past. I am concealed; therefore, I do not fear the voices of trouble from my past, neither the vessels that these voices speak through. I am kept under the wraps of God's love behind a curtain, in secret. I rejoice.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
