SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

OF FAITH

Series 2.9.8 - #251

September 8, 2004

Jesus has come that I might have life and that more abundantly. He will strengthen me, for I have need of strength that I may finish what he has given me to do. I will not be weary in well doing. I will reap, but I must not faint. The new strength that God is supplying will prevent me from fainting. He is supplying me with a personal revival, a revival of strength. I determine not to be slack concerning the things of God. He is my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. I will not fear. Even if the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea, I will not fear. Even if the waters roar and be troubled, I will not fear. Even though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof, I will not fear. God is filling my life with rivers of living water. The streams of these rivers shall make me glad. They shall supply me with holiness so that God's tabernacle shall be a joyful place for him to dwell. I will not be moved, for he will help me. He is helping me right now. He is with me as he promised. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I will be still and know that he is God.

The Lord is exalted among the heathen and in the earth. He is the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel and of the church. I worship him in spirit and in truth. I shout unto him with the voice of triumph. I clap my hands, for he is the Lord, Most High. He is terrible. He is a great King over all the earth. He has subdued all things under me. He has given me an inheritance, for he has loved me with an everlasting love. He has gone up with a shout and with the sound of a trumpet.

Now I sing praises unto Jesus, my King. I sing praises, for he is the King of all the earth. I sing praises with understanding. He sits upon the throne of his holiness, and he is greatly exalted. My God is great and greatly to be praised in his city, in the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situation is mount Zion, the joy of the whole earth. It is the city of my great King. He is building his own body in the earth. Now I think on his lovingkindness and his name. According to his name, so is his praise unto the ends of the earth. I rejoice because of his judgments. Jesus is guiding my life with divine purpose. He has set me in a large room, and my feet shall not slip.

I trust in him at all times. I have poured my heart out to him. Now he is my refuge, and in him, is my salvation. Jesus is the rock of my strength. I am not afraid of the terrors that threaten, for I dwell in a secret place, the secret place of the Most High. I abide under the shadow of the Almighty. God is my refuge and my fortress. I trust in him. He will surely deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence. He has me covered with his feathers, and under his wings, I can trust. His truth is my shield and buckler. I will not be afraid of the things that walk in the daytime or the nighttime. God has sent help from the hills of salvation. I am assured that he has done a completed work in the earth, for he is the finisher of all things. I believe.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
