SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.8.21 - #233

August 21, 2004

I am determined to allow the sounds of thanksgiving to flow out of my innermost being. These sounds shall make a way through the dark things that have surrounded me in an attempt to frustrate me and bring me to ruin and despair. I must continually give thanks, for God has been good to me, but most of all, because of who he is. He has revealed himself unto me. No man knows who God is unless he reveals himself unto him. The revelation of Jesus Christ has been given to me. I cherish this revelation. Wise men and prudent men have desired to hear and see the things that I have but have not heard, nor seen them. His love has abounded toward me, and the light of the glorious gospel has flourished in my midst. I continue to offer thanksgiving for his goodness, and I shall be translated into new dimensions of understanding. Many are shut off from true understanding because they are not thankful. Many stare at images of idols today because of the view given them by unthankful hearts. Many who have known him have turned unto the gods of this world and bow at the altars of error; therefore, false spirits rule in their lives. I will look unto him while he may be found and be thankful. He will continually rule in my heart as my praises enthrone him.

I have been blessed beyond measure. I offer praise and thanksgiving for the many blessings bestowed upon me. I choose to be an example of humility during the times of blessings. Special grace is being imparted unto me at the station of humility. I will not leave this station, for it is the place where abundance of grace is poured into my lips. I have been blessed with an ornament of grace in the time when many have been rewarded disgrace. I was not disgraced, for his love saved me from transgressions. His love lifts me high above the iniquity of the hour, and the power of the resurrection held me up when I should have fallen. I express gratitude for his love, for he has loved me as a friend. A spirit of peace is upon my home. I do not invite evil spirits into my home by transgressions. He has given this home to me as a blessing. Now I do not allow it to become a curse because of sin. I shall cast out all ungodliness and reprove every evil work. Peace and confusion cannot dwell together, for they oppose each other. I shall follow peace with all men and holiness, for without these two, no man will see him. I continue to abide in him, and he will abide in me. I shall surely ask what I will, and it shall be done unto me. If I abide in him, I will offer the sacrifice of praise unto him continually, that is the fruit of my lips giving thanks unto the name of Jesus.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
