SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.8.20 - #232

August 20, 2004

I will praise the Living God with all my heart while there is time. He has brought his presence into my midst. I rejoice in my salvation. I determine not to be ashamed to worship him with all that is within me. I must cast off shame which has come to keep me from rejoicing in him. Pride watches from every corner of my being. Unless I humble myself before God, pride will speak and command me to worship self instead of the Living God. Pride is the child of my flesh. If I give myself to wed pride, then I will beget children that look to my flesh as a parent of tremendous strength rather than children who look to humility as a strong virtue held in honor by God. Humility is reigning in this hour without me, for humility cannot be dethroned. I choose to humble myself under God's mighty hand that I may produce sons and daughters in the spirit that are worshippers and soul winners. I have not played before the Lord lately. I have not played before the Lord or worshipped in spirit and in truth like I should, but by the grace of God, I will.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
