SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.8.18 - #230

August 18, 2004

God's lovingkindness is enough for me in this hour of failure and great falling away. He has more than a legal obligation toward me. He has generously expressed his mercy and loyalty toward me. His love toward me is steadfast. He is faithful. He has given me an everlasting covenant and the sure mercies of David. God's kindness toward me is far beyond any legal agreement; therefore, he will always be merciful to me. I will be merciful to others and love it. I needed redemption from all the things that were against me, and Jesus abounded toward me in lovingkindness. His love will last forever. It will preserve me and cast out all my fears.

God has called me and chosen me. He does not forsake his covenant because I have been unfaithful. Although I will be disciplined for my unfaithfulness, I can count on God's faithfulness. He will abundantly pardon me and have mercy upon everyone that returns unto him. His thoughts are not my thoughts, neither are my ways his ways, for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are God's ways higher than my ways and his thoughts than my thoughts.

The Lord has sent his word out of his mouth, and it shall not return to him void, but it shall accomplish that which he pleases, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto he sent it. His going forth is prepared as the morning. He has come forth unto me as the rain. I will be merciful to others as God is unto me, for he desires mercy and not sacrifice. Many people who call themselves priests murder the names of the innocent. This is lewd. There is whoredom among the people, for the horrible things of idolatry are committed without a conscience that is grieved. God will bring conviction in the midst of his people again. By the mercies of God, conviction will grasp the hearts of the people again.

Jesus is the Lord, who is merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth. I have found grace in his sight. He desires to give this same unmerited favor to others though they are stiff-necked God's people are covetous and idolatrous. He is a jealous God, for his name is Jealous. They cannot worship any other god. They call upon the Lord, but their hearts are far from him. I will go and declare God's realness and the need to repent.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
