SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.8.17 - #229

August 17, 2004

God has magnified his mercy, and I have found grace in his sight. I should have died in my sins. Hell should have been my lot, but he allowed my soul to live. I purpose not to look back at the world, for there is nothing there but the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. I will not love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If I love the world, the love of the Father is not in me. The world will pass away and the lust thereof, but he that doeth the will of God abides forever. The world hated him before it hated me. If men hate me, then they are of the world and not of the truth. If I were of the world, the world would love its own, but because I am not of the world, it hates me. He has chosen me out of the world; therefore, the world hates me. I am not greater than my Lord. If they persecuted him, they will also persecute me. If they have not kept his sayings, I cannot expect them to keep mine. They are doing all these things to me because of his name's sake because they know not him that sent me. His sheep hear his voice. They are not his sheep, therefore, they reject the voice of God and the Rhema word.

Jesus has sent me to speak on his behalf. If he had not sent me and I had not spoken Rhema in their ears, then they had no sin, but now they have no cloak for their sin. He that hates me, hates him also. He sent me to bear witness of the truth, and they refused me. I have done what he sent me to do. The truth has been preached, and the grace that he desired to give them has been prophesied. I do not think more highly of myself because he has used me. Through the grace that has been given me, I accept a right mind, and by the mercies of God, I present my body a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is my reasonable service. I choose not to be conformed to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of my mind, that I prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. I shall continue prophesying according to the proportion of faith. I am determined to show mercy with cheerfulness and to allow my love to flow without dissimulation. I will be kindly affectionate to others with brotherly kindness, in honor, preferring one another.

The Lord separated me from my mother's womb, and now he separates me unto himself for these last days. I come aside from the noise of brethren and listen to the call of grace. He will reveal himself in me and those who follow me that I may preach Jesus among the people of the world. I cease conferring with flesh and blood, and I come and reason with God. He will make me a mighty fisher of men. If I go in the path of men, I will miss the outpouring of his spirit upon the hungry and the thirsty. Many people have not heard the Rhema from my mouth because men have alienated me from the people in my fellowship. He will send me in another direction that the multitudes that he has chosen to hear the Rhema word will be blessed by the words of his mouth. He is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he has loved me, even when I was dead in sins, has quickened me together with Christ. He saved me by grace, raised me up together, and made me sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward me through Christ. It is by grace that we are saved through faith and that not of ourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast.

I purpose to beware, that I am not entangled in legalism in these last days. I will beware of making things sin that God has not made sin, for where there is no law, there is no transgression. I will reap the wrath of God on myself and those who follow me because I will make faith void and the promise of none effect. I remember, that the promise that Abraham should be the heir of the world, was not to him or to his seed through the law but through the righteousness of faith. If they that are of the law be heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of none effect because the law works wrath, for where no law is, there is no transgression. I hear his words. He makes me free from the legalities of men. I have not won many souls because of this entanglement with things that he has not made sin. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. I am laying aside my pride, and I come and walk with him by faith. He will show me new pathways of liberty.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
