SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.8.12 - #224

August 12, 2004

I believe; therefore, all things are possible. I do believe. I believe that God is and that he is the rewarder of those who diligently seek him. With him, all things are possible. My faith is small. Spirits have attempted to destroy my faith in God. He will not stand aside and allow this to happen. He is true to his word. He has made promises to me, and he will keep his promises. I do not allow the delays to hinder my faith. God is faithful. I purpose not to lose confidence, for God will not allow those of faith to be alienated from his promises. This is the same faith of the apostles and Abraham. Abraham believed God, and he counted his faith as righteousness. Now I believe, and my effectual, fervent prayers will avail much.

God is faithful, and he will not let me fall. Despite the persecution that is going on, I choose to remain faithful to my beliefs. I have not been loyal to my beliefs. God made me a promise and said, "I will never leave you, nor forsake you." God cannot lie. I believe my marriage vows. I believe God. I do not believe that my wife is having a relationship with someone else. I do not believe that God is having a relationship with the devil. I believe that God is faithful to his vows unto me. I am being persecuted for my faith. I must learn not to doubt God's word and him when I am persecuted. I will remain strong in faith and give glory unto him. I will not stagger at his promises through unbelief, but I will be strong in faith. I am fully persuaded that what God has promised, he is able to perform. It is impossible for him to lie; therefore, I will trust him with all my heart.

I determine not to renounce my faith because of the heat of the trial. I must have faith and not allow my faith to be destroyed in this fire. This fire is meant to build my faith, not destroy or minimize it. I stretch forth my faith into the fiery trial, and I will watch it grow into mountain moving faith. I am not faithless but believing. I have collided with unbelief. This is no accident. Unbelief intends to run me off the highway of holiness and into the ditch where the blind are falling. I allow God to anoint my eyes with eye salve that I may see during this time when many are reckless because they walk not by faith.

I must learn that when I am confronted with unbelief, not to lose my focus. Unbelief never ceases its war against me. Unbelief is in the darkness, and I am in the light. Light has no fellowship with darkness. My faith will be contradicted. I will not allow disloyalty to my faith to surface, for disloyalty is also of the darkness. God has revealed himself unto me. Now I walk in the steps of Jesus Christ, and I walk on the water of his word, and I will not sink. Now abides faith, hope, and charity. Charity is the greatest. Christ is the Hope of Glory and Love. He is LOVE AND HOPE, and my faith is in him. He has come looking for faith. The Lord gave it to me. It is in me. I give it to God and cross over this stormy sea while I walk on the waters of this storm.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
