SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.8.4 - #216

August 4, 2004

I was at a point of doubt, but God has renewed my confidence. The confidence in me is mighty, for it is of him. I will not cast away my confidence. Jesus is paying a great reward for confidence in this hour. Because of the weariness of the trial, I looked into the mouth of doubt. Doubt opened his mouth, and I found that he was a deep pit. God has not given me a deep pit to walk into. He has given me a highway to walk upon. It is a way, the highway of holiness. There are no lions here, neither are there any beasts here. Only the redeemed are walking here. I gird up the loins of my garments and run to the end. God will show me the end of this trial today. He has made me a prince in the earth. I am a prince that has power with God and with men. He gave this gift to me, and none can take this gift away from me. From the excellency of his power and his dignity, is this reward given to me.

God has raised me up to show his power in me and that the name of Jesus may be declared in the earth. By his right hand, he will be glorious in power for me. He will bring me out with his great power and with a mighty hand. Jesus will show his great power on my behalf according as he has spoken. I remember, he is longsuffering, of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means, clearing the guilty. Those who oppose righteousness shall find that God is a terrible foe. I lift up my voice and cry out for mercy unto them, for God will visit the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation. Jesus has sent them messengers. Now they rejoice in their iniquities and in the fall of their brethren. What they have desired for others will return upon their own heads.

Many have become lifted up in their hearts and have forgotten the Lord, thy God. God will show them that it was he that blessed them and that they did not get the things that they have because of their own power and the might of their own hand. It is he that gave them power to get wealth that he may establish his covenant, which he swears unto the Jewish fathers. Jesus is no respecter of persons. All shall perish that stop here and begin to glory in their own works. He brought them out by his mighty power and by his stretched out arm. Jesus is my lamp, and he has lightened my darkness. I come now and run through this troop. By him, I may leap over this wall. God's way is perfect. The word of the Lord is tried. He is a buckler to all them that trust in God.

I have trusted in God's word and have recorded these sayings spoken in my ears. I trust in them, for they are from that which is forever settled in heaven. They will not fail, neither will they return to the Lord empty. They will go forth and do that which he has intended it to do. Jesus is my strength and my power. He makes my way perfect. It is he that makes my feet like hinds' feet and setteth me upon my high places. I look before me and see that he has enlarged my steps under me so that my feet do not slip. God is pursuing my enemies and destroying them; therefore, I will lift up my head as a gate, and I will be lifted up as an everlasting door. Jesus has entered into my gates of praise this day. I lift up my head and fight the good fight of faith. My enemies have sought counsel one with another. God has smitten them, and they cannot rise up from the blow of his hand. He has subdued them under me. He has given me the necks of my enemies. He has delivered me from the strivings of the people. He is my God that avengeth me. He is the tower of salvation for me. God has shown mercy unto his anointed. I rise up and offer praise, for he has truly brought me out with his outstretched arm.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
