SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.7.22 - #203

July 22, 2004

I walk in the steps of Abraham, and I am fully assured that I am supported by grace. Grace will sustain me every step of the way. It will maintain my faith and keep me going when I feel like turning around. It will supply me with the ability, the desire, the power, and the sufficiency to walk and not faint. I give the reins of my life to grace, and it will lead me all the way to heaven. It will cause me to endure unto the end and will help me in all things and in all places. I was condemned and dead in trespasses and sins, for I was sold under sin. Grace poured love from the lips of my savior, and he gave me this great salvation. I did not earn anything with my own hands, neither did my own arm save me, but by his right hand, his arm, and the light of his countenance, he brought me out. He granted me favor in his eyes. He commanded deliverance for me.

My enemies were ready to destroy me. I was a person who was damned, but Jesus saved me from my enemies. He put them to shame because they hated me. I praise his name forever and boast all the day long in him because he has made me to tread my enemies under my feet. I was appointed for meat and a reproach among men. I was covered with the shadow of death and counted as a sheep to be slaughtered. My soul was bowed down to the dust, and my belly was cleaving to the earth, but grace came and redeemed me for his mercies' sake.

I open my mouth and offer praise unto the God of my salvation. Jesus has given me the pen of a ready writer. He has made me a spiritual scribe of the living word. My heart has been changed, and it is inditing good matters. By my new birth, I am now fairer than the children of men. God has poured grace into my lips, and now I am blessed forever. Grace has given me a sharp sword that is swung by the power of the Most High. With the glory and the majesty of my King, I ride prosperously upon the wings of faith. My words are as sharp arrows that go forth and pierce the heart of my enemies and cause them to fall. I have come into the throne room of grace this morning. I have been drawn before the Lord's throne, and he has stretched forth his scepter of righteousness. I have been granted acceptance here. Jesus beckoned me unto him, and now he will hear my petitions and answer them. I come unto him with gladness and rejoicing. I have been brought into the palace of my king. This is a holy place. Before a holy God, I reside. Goodness and mercy escorted me here. Grace touches my lips. Now I speak unto Jesus, my King, and he will surely answer me.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
