SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.7.14 - #196

July 14, 2004

Since death and the grave could not hold Jesus, no one is able to hold me. I am his body, and I have been redeemed by precious blood. I do not owe anything to the principalities and powers of the air. My debts are paid in full. Jesus gave himself a ransom for the sins of the whole world; therefore, I have been ransomed from slavery to sin and the consequences of sin. I look back to the cross and discern his body. I behold why it was accused falsely and why it was scourged. I behold why it was led as a lamb to the slaughter and why it was wounded. I behold why it was bruised and why it was striped. I behold why it was marred more than any man. I behold his death, burial, and resurrection! When I have beheld the meaning of the journey of his body from birth to resurrection, then will true victory spring forth inside of me. I will not serve sin again, neither will I be submitted to sickness, poverty, or death. The Lord has overcome all these things by the resurrection. By faith, I am inside of the resurrected Christ who has died, been buried, and resurrected from the dead. By obedience to the gospel of Christ, I am alive forevermore, and the keys of the kingdom are in my mouth. I arise and use the keys of victory. They have been freely given to me to use for his glory and my benefit. I arise and enjoy the victory purchased by the offering of himself for me. If he did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for all, he shall not withhold all things from me. I will not accept the condemnation of the enemy, for no one will condemn me. It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for me. I look at the love expressed for me as he laid down his life for me. No one shall separate me from that kind of love. In all these things, I am more than a conqueror through him that loved me. Nothing shall be able to separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus, my Lord. He provided himself an offering, a lamb without spot and without blemish for my sins. Now I will have faith in the offering for all that I have done wrong. I hear the voice of the offering that was delivered up for me.

I hear the broadcast of his love. Love has been freely transmitted. He has announced the great love of the Father to the world. I will not allow the false advertisers to persuade me to abandon the announcement that he has sent me to deliver. The enemy desires to turn the gospel into a bazaar. He desires to continue to market sin by creating commercials of lust and pride to be advertised among the people of God who should be broadcasting the love of God. Jesus has come to deliver me from these commercials that have kept his people from the work of the Lord. The spirit of the antichrist and the false gospel distracts many. I will not allow his news to be communicated through me. God has sent me to propagate the truth, not lies. If I am of the truth, I cannot be a conductor of a lie. The spiritual airwaves of God have only one gospel to broadcast. It is the gospel of his love. He has recorded the message in my heart. Now I open my mouth wide and allow the message of his deliverance for the sins of the world to be broadcast through me.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
