SCRIPTURAL VERIFICATION

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(Romans 10:8-10)

CONFESSION

Series 2.7.12 - #194

July 12, 2004

I am in a mighty conflict with principalities and powers. I have not gone to battle against these enemies without God. I will not be afraid of them, for he is with me. He is the same God who brought Israel out of the land of Egypt. I will not let my heart faint. I will not fear, and I will not tremble, neither will I be terrified because of these mighty foes. Jesus is the Lord. He goes with me to fight for me against my enemies to save me. The number of my adversaries does not trouble him. Many intimidating foes have arisen against his body. There is help for me in him. He is my shield and my glory. He is the lifter of my head. Though the enemy has intimidated and threatened me with fear, I will not be afraid. I will not be afraid of these enemies that have set themselves against me. He has arisen to save me and will smite them upon the cheek bone. He will break out the teeth of the ungodly. Salvation belongs unto God. I remember, he has placed his blessing upon his people; therefore, I do not fear their fear, and I am not afraid. The enemy has sent a campaign of fear and intimidation against me daily. The enemy intends to hamper my testimony by intimidating me.

The stares of the spiritual enemies in dreams are terrifying. The enemy has penetrated my dreams and attempted to corrupt the atmosphere of my peace and rest. The intimidating figures and icons of my dreams are real and so is God. He is sanctified in me. Jesus is the Lord of hosts. I will allow him to be my fear and my dread. I will not draw back because of the beasts who come to war against me. Paul fought with the beasts of Ephesus. The enemy has not sent house cats to fight against me. He knows that he only has a short time to devour many. I will not become timid and fearful because of his rage. He hopes to restrain the word in me by intimidation. I will not allow his threats sent through dreams to deter me from prophesying and preaching. The Lord is my sanctuary, a stone of stumbling, a rock of offense, and a snare to the foes of the word. I will not allow this bully to bind up my testimony. I will not perish by his hands. He is intimidating many by holding fear over their heads. I will not be browbeaten by this defeated foe. I will not be frightened away from the heritage of souls in my grip. He is attempting to scare me away from the territory that he has claimed for himself.

I will not lose courage. Jesus is in me to do a mighty work for me. I trust in him with all my heart and lean not to my own understanding, neither do I lean on my own concept of power. The battle is the Lord's. I behold his actions on my behalf, and I hear the voice of my Deliverer as he says, "The Lord rebuke you, thou intimidator. Get thee hence." He has rebuked the adversary. Now I am not restrained by voices that declare my losses. I will not be weakened by the sounds of strange figures that hang around to frighten me. Jesus is my hope; therefore, the enemy cannot take my hope away from me. I will go and encourage others in the peace that he has granted. I will go and assure them that circumstances and demons obey him, the Lord, my God. I will not be afraid, but I arise and speak. I will not hold my peace, for God is with me. No man shall set on me to defeat me. I arise. God has many people in these cities.

Hebrews 10:22 - 23

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
